TB Equalizer Reviews

I believe it when the developers and reviewers say its a great app. Just don't know where to find the documentation that will explain the features and how to use them, or even just how to navigate the interface. The developer site devotes two pages about it on the omnibus user manual, and it's not platform specific. Oh well, at least it's just 7 bucks down the drain.

First off TB plug-ins have fantastic sound quality and options. They’re professional grade. But all their apps UI suffer from the same problem which is they’re almost impossible to use on anything except a large iPad. Even on my plus/max sized iPhone I can’t tap the absolutely microscopic menus or icons without missing or tapping the wrong thing. Really needs larger UI to be useful in my workflow and I sincerely hope it’s implemented because they’re the closest thing we have to fabfilter on iPhone.

This has been a great equalizer for Garageband iOS up until now

For some reason it’s not being read correctly as a plug-in when I upload my song and destroys my mixed tracks

Was looking for an EQ to tame and sculpt some of my synth and keyboard patches for live shows. This fits the bill perfectly! I tried the demo on Windows first and was sold. The analog circuit adds some subtle saturation if you need it. Adding 16 independent dynamic bands is more than enough control for projects and shows. I don’t use the AI, but I mix on my laptop and workstation, not my iPad. Use this as an AUV3 in AUM and KeyStage, it can easily be the only EQ on your iPad. If you have a problem with the price… just go look at the prices on MAC and Windows for EQ’s with half the functionality!

EDIT:
An idea to make this even better than it is: NEGATIVE dynamic ratios! I would love to be able to quickly punch up about 500-1k on a piano to add some good knock to the sound but maintaining a level frequency response on the sustain. You all don’t have a multi-band compressor; this would hit the mark even harder than you already did! Absolutely a bonkers great EQ.

Use the desktop version; if you don't have it, get! Installed this to use with twistedwave.

This is an amazing equalizer. I use it all the time and is very stable. Look forward to more apps and improvements!

This EQ is insane but could you please improve the LFO maximum frequency from 17khz to 19 or 20Khz? I got some instruments that under 17Khz looses that crystalline sound that I love. Thankyou so much for reading and developing professional tools for iPad

Professional grade EQ, worth every cent, just amazing, it works seamlessly with GarageBand and if you don’t use GarageBand you can import files into GarageBand and then use TBEqualizer in the plug ins

Such a great tool. Sometimes it’s hard for my thick fingers to get some of the smaller controls. But it’s not impossible. Other apps make it harder.

This is professional and essential.

Glad I took the chance and tried this out. Has enhanced my iPad production workflow so much so, that I don’t need to stem out tracks to take to my desktop. I can do what I need all on my iPad. Their Reverb is awesome too!

When I initially reviewed this, I had it mixed up with another app and gave it a horrible review. I apologize. This looks like a great app, but I haven’t yet fully figured out how to use it. Looking forward to it, as my headphones do not have one.

The AI Assist alone is worth the price this costs. This EQ can do everything the Pro-Q can, and then some, at a fraction of the cost. In my own opinion, this is actually better. Here’s the biggest reason why I think that besides the two things I just said: the window containing fine adjustments for frequency, Q, gain,etc. doesn’t only show up in full screen AU mode in Cubasis. You can simply tap on the effect and have access to the window in the half screen display of the effect. However, in order to see the same window in Pro-Q, you have to put it in full screen. This may not seem like a big deal, but it means you don’t have to constantly enter and exit full screen for fine adjustments while mixing. Bottom line, if you want a pro quality EQ on par with Fab Filter, this is an absolute no-brainer.

Adding my voice to those super happy with this great quality EQ. Really has made a difference in my work. It's so easy to use. I've had zero issues with it. With this EQ I don't have to struggle a long time to find the sweet spot. Worth every penny to me.

Bruh this EQ just makes life simple, the AI suggestion thing is super dope.

As of today I’m ditching all the other EQs.

Definitely plan on checking out some of their other apps some other time, they make quality stuff!

What else can be said that hasn’t been said already? This is BY FAR the best equalizer available from the apps store!

It’s user friendly, simple to learn (even if ur a beginner) & as mentioned several times in other reviews, the AI assist offered here makes this worth the price alone!

I get the cleanest sounding tracks with very dynamic ranges... booming lows with clean mids & crisp highs simply by choosing one of the preset AI’s and then slightly tweaking to my specifications.
Did I mention it’s also
visually appealing/beautifully designed?

I downloaded this and the Pro Q 3 demos on my laptop to compare before committing to an iOS purchase. Holy smokes, the features, value, and most importantly the sound of Toneboosters plugins blew me away. I ended up buying all the iOS plugins and some desktop ones too!

This is a great EQ! Sounds good, very easy to get into, and full of every thing you can think of that an EQ might do and then some. It actually has more options than some other more expensive EQ’s. I am really surprised that there is not more talk about this one and the other TB apps. Great work!
