RCIMemberApp , when not asking me to login continually, freezes. It is impossible to navigate and doesn’t even fit in the screen properly on some pages. It is impossible to use for even the most basic tasks. My advice to users is don’t even waste the space on your phone. Shame on RCI for letting this go on for so long. App development has come a long way and for this company to have such a disaster of a platform is quite frankly insulting to members. You’d be better to do away with RCIMemberApp altogether. It reflects poorly on you and will definitely make me take a moment to seriously think about if I want to renew my relationship with the company when the time comes.

It’s difficult to find a place to vacation, using RCIMemberApp . RCIMemberApp is slow and lags. Idk what the solution is but it has to improve some how. It would be nice if we were able to just type in a resort and see what the availability is. Instead we have put in dates first and hope our resorts come up with availability. It Informs me of no availability without telling me what dates are available. Very tedious and time consuming to search for available vacations.

It constantly loses connection and times out. Being developer for large enterprise three tier apps I can’t tell how much of my corporate life for banking app was spent fixing this issue...it’s not the database, not my network, not your internal network. It’s your App server that runs out breath which could be many reasons depending on what technology you’re using for app server... until then, good luck getting people to use this service and write bad reviews...

I totally agree with previous review, after a year, still same story, on top of that same things happens on their website, terrible service and whole RCI story was a scam, no way for me to move out, I have spend thousands to have this service through GEVC company, both scam company, never trust this vacation clubs or time or what ever share companies. I hoped i was able to see such a review before i made such a mistake 6 years ago.

I’d give RCIMemberApp 0 stars if possible. RCIMemberApp alone makes me wish I didn’t buy into the time share. It’s completely useless. Crashes every time you use. Click on something and get the white screen all the time. Searching for a vacation is impossible and so I tried using the website which is equally useless. You’d think a company this big that sells vacations would have a platform you could actually use to find and book a vacation. So frustrating. The old app was bad but worked better than this crap. Highly disappointed in this!!! Fix your platforms like seriously fix them. You should be embarrassed as a company that this is what you give us to use. It’s laughably disappointing!!!

The whole point of an app like this is to search for a vacation. RCIMemberApp fails miserably. It doesn’t give any indication that it’s doing a search (e. g. spinner, progress bar). The map that is there for you to select a region is clunky and very hard to use on even a large phone screen. I thought I saved a search. After I got the “white screen” again I tried to start over, but couldn’t find where saved searches are listed.

Skip this and use the web site.

RCIMemberApp is pointless. I’ve never been able to use it to do anything. I’ve tried to uninstall and reinstall and nothing works. I always have to end up getting on the computer to do anything. It makes me sign in every time I click anything on RCIMemberApp . I’ll go through the excruciating process of filtering down to what I’m looking for, only to be thrown out and have to start all over again. RCIMemberApp, just like this company, is garbage.

At least through the old version you were able to filter and see options of how you wanted to take your vacation. Not sure what is going on with RCIMemberApp, why you cannot search for last minute, exchanges, etc as you could before. We even have confirmed vacations and they are not even showing under our account. Hoping things were not wiped out from the system. If so we’ve going to have some unhappy people during Spring Break.

RCIMemberApp needs a lot of improvement still. Anytime I’m doing a search, and click on a property, it’ll never go back to where my search left off. It always logs me out, even though I’ve checked the box to “remember me on this device”
And once I log in again, it brings me to a whole different page to start over again. There seem to be a lot of glitches where the language (software/development language) isn’t continuous...

I seriously do not think it would be possible to make a more worthless app even on a day or call mom a 12-year-old with programming skills could make something better than this without even understanding the timeshare business. RCIMemberApp tells you all you need to know about the integrity of the timeshare business as anyone who’s a decent person would be embarrassed by this it would make moves to correct it when they saw how absolutely pathetic it was while working

I have been considering switching to another exchange company, and after RCI required us to download RCIMemberApp, I must. There is no other app option.
This is the most frustrating app...it’s even harder to see vacation options. The screen does not even fill the page! It is so crowded together. It freezes up.
It looks like a third grader displayed RCIMemberApp.
When I used to call RCI, I’d get a knowledgeable, well spoken agent. Now when I call, I get an agent who hasn’t traveled and has communication problems. So a good app is critical to my continuing with RCI.
I give this a minus 1 as it doesn’t warrant a 1.

Looks like RCI is making it more difficult to navigate using RCIMemberApp. They have hidden
an owners home reservation drop down and when you do find it under “ alerts” ( why it would be there is ridicules) it quickly disappears and and alert box appears. Hit on the “ alert” box and nothing happens.
Tried deleting it and reinstalling RCIMemberApp again with no success. The previous app at least worked. Will have to use the computer to book . Very poor IT service and design
as has always been the case with RCI’s platform. Sad for a company like this.

As others have said, if I could give it zero stars I would. Will not save login. Screen turns white constantly, having to re-login. Crashes, glitches, genuinely the worst app since I’ve owned an iPhone, for many years. My 11 year old could build and design a more efficient app platform. It symbolizes RCI perfectly, making it so hard to book a vacation, they want you to give up and lose your money and weeks. I hate this company, I hate RCIMemberApp, and I’ll be spending the next year trying to get out of this albatross.

Very limited ability to search, much less find an available vacation exchange. Limited to an exact month. If you are lucky enough to get more than 10 available exchanges, RCIMemberApp will not bring up the second page of available exchanges. Also the map of the available exchanges is not geographically correct. If you want to visit a certain area, you must know the exact city near the destination, then do your research as it may not be where you think it is. The old site was much more user friendly. Who at RCI made the decision to buy into this awful app?

While the concept may be sound, the application is buggy and fails to perform basic searches in a consistent manner. It appears that the application was posted before the numerous issues have been resolved in the test bed. This is unfortunate and will frustrate.

This is clearly a beta version. I can only suspect that a management decision was made to meet a schedule to issue an upgraded application, which will drive users to their website or for telephone support. I have experienced numerous pages that have timed out. In general, there is a lack of “back” buttons on screens to permit a user to back up one screen.

Happy hunting. This application will be a test of anyone’s patience.

What is wrong with the people responsible for RCIMemberApp? It is always slow to respond, freezes, or takes you back to sign in multiple times during a single use. My internet service is excellent and 300MB speed so I know for a fact that’s not it. I agree with others, this has been an issue for quite a long time. It can’t be for lack of money to fix it as RCI gets plenty of that from all the fees charged for exchanges and multiple other ridiculous “services”. Someone from RCI needs to step up and explain to all members why this can’t be fixed. I am about fed up RCI and ready to move on to a better exchange company.

Everything requires me to login constantly. The tabs at the bottom take me to nonfunctional pages which are unaware of the fact that I’m logged in. The search is horrendous and I can’t use the back arrow because that will take me out of search entirely. I have to tap the “back to search” link. Half the time the search results freeze and I have to try to give to another land and then back all while trying not to leave my search as that will kill my search entirely.

I agree with the previous reviewer. This version of RCIMemberApp is better, but still not great. In this new app there doesn’t seem to be a way to swap between points and weeks logins, and the touch login only works when it feels like it, maybe 2 of 10 times. Speed has improved, filter is quicker, but RCIMemberApp and overall experience is still clunky and way more laborious than it should be.

I like the concept of RCIMemberApp but, you seem to have several bugs to overcome. I get kicked out. I set up my finger print option and it works about half the time. The back arrow should have a comment to the effect do you want to leave this search. Otherwise you have to go to the top of the page a tap continue search. App is frustrating. It does have benefits but cumbersome.

I just downloaded this new app and didn’t have any trouble logging in and exploring the features. It had my current account info. Granted: I did not attempt to book anything and only spent 15 minutes using it. Hence, only can give 3 stars at this time. Will write a new review once I have used RCIMemberApp some more.

Agree this is mildly better than the previous app. But can we please resolve the login issues? RCIMemberApp constant crashes, and goes back to a login page. And it’s not even the same login page. Sometimes it’s RCIMemberApp login, sometimes its a mobile version of the website login page. But which ever version you keep, I shouldn’t have to login 10 separate times during the same session!

This is a terrible app that has me lost and confused. The original app forced me into this new app which hasn’t worked since day one. It will load one screen then whichever option I choose it goes to a blank white screen and does nothing from that point on. And RCI continues to try to send out surveys on how to get more sales? How about fixing this mess? And no, I don’t want to spend an hour on the phone with tech support or any sales clerk.

Log in then search a vacation, go to click into a resort, prompts me to log in. I log in again, search dates, go to enter “check out date” and VOILA! Locks up and you have to close it out completely. Open again, log in again, try a different menu option, let’s you search thru the first level of options, then stalls or prompts you to log in again. Very frustrating. Just stick to the web.

If I could rate RCIMemberApp zero I would. And that’s just from reading reviews. I wouldn’t even open RCIMemberApp . RCI strikes again! It’s just one more way they steal your money by charging fees upon more fees to be a member and to exchange and now waste your precious time with a useless app! Sorry I was so naive about timeshares and exchange companies to begin with and RCI has made it worse. Spend more time trying to book a vacation then you actually spend enjoying one. Timeshare with App For Sale!

I’d really love an RCI app (or website) that functioned. New app has cut out a lot of search options and yet still can’t perform the one type of basic search it allows. Crashes at almost every stage. Sometimes I’m lucky enough to get to the first page of results but if I try to get to the second page, look at a place in detail or see available units, the result is a blank white page that never loads.

The only reason I didn’t give it one star is because RCIMemberApp is mildly better than the one it replaced. So it’s got that going for it.

The old app was a poor interface that just loaded up their terrible website that wasn’t mobile friendly. This at least uses app-like interaction, but it’s still clearly constrained by having to interface with the same backend.

Searching for anything is laborious. 52 taps later you might get a list of things to look at, but don’t tap the “<“ arrow in the corner. That doesn’t take you back one step, it starts the whole thing over.

I wish I could say, “at least it does X really well,” but I haven’t found anything that’s useful.
