Best App For Last Minute Trips

Put in you budget and your starting location and shows you all the options for travel. Great idea, been waiting for someone to do this!

Loved it!

It makes travel planning way easier

Need more apps like this

There are so many travel apps out there and yet
none of them get it quite right. EludeApp, on the
other hand, nails it! Easy to use, simplifies the
decision making process for me based on budget
and interests, and does it all in a great user
interface. Highly recommend!

Doesn’t work

App doesn’t work. I increased in EludeApp the budget to the max looking for deals for next month. EludeApp states that they can’t find a destination, no matter how much I changed dates or budget. Will be deleting.’

My favorite app of 2022

Home screen essential!

Really

While EludeApp is a good idea, it ended up being a waist of time. I had to raise my budget to $15,000 to go anywhere from Spokane, WA. Really, that’s it. I can do a bunch of searches and find it manually for much cheaper.

I want to love it…

But there are some major issues with EludeApp . I love the concept and would use it regularly if it didn’t give me unknown error messages every time I tried to register. Tried using it as a guest and using New Orleans as my base city - it took several attempts just to get results. Even putting a weekend trip with a budget of $7000, I’d get results saying there were no trips within my budget. After the 6th or 7th attempt, I’d finally see results only to have them all disappear on the next search. Once I got results, the navigation UI and font made the process unbearable and confusing. Holding out for some much needed upgrades, but as it is, EludeApp falls incredibly short of its very rad objective.

Potential but needs significant work

The article that tipped me to EludeApp , implied it’s a budget based travel app. EludeApp doesn’t list all airports, including the city I live in which is the capital of a very large state. It only allows for flights vs driving. I was also able to quickly find 5 or 6 cheaper flight options with simple search. It did flex within budget, e.g. nicer hotel if cheaper flights. However it couldn’t find any options for two adults, for two nights on $500 budget. But I can with extremely simple search on AirBnB. Lots of potential, great concept, just needs stronger search engine.

Cool idea, glitchy app

EludeApp has a great concept! Unfortunately it needs some tweaking. I wasn’t able to answer any of the profile questions that ask you to put things in order of presence EludeApp wouldn’t let me sort them.
The other problem is that when it returns options to me it doesn’t take into account the amount of people that will be traveling. For example, if you type in that it will be two adults and two children traveling with a budget of $2000. It will suggest trips that are only priced for one person’s airfare. It’s a cool idea, just needs some refining.

GAME CHANGER

I’ve been looking for a new way to travel for awhile, especially after spending the last year stuck in my apartment. I saw EludeApp on Instagram and immediately wanted to check it out. As soon as I downloaded it, I could tell I was going to love it. The look and feel is fresh and feels so different from any other booking site I’ve looked at. I hope I just found my new way to travel.

Work in Progress

Great concept, but lots of room for improvement. In my limited use so far, EludeApp seems to repeat suggestions. I searched for a 5 day trip in November. Despite making a beach my # 1 priority, my first suggested destination was Cedar Rapids, IA. Really? No offense to Cedar Rapids, but it wasn’t on the radar. I did not get a single beach suggestion despite searching at multiple budget levels. EludeApp is not useful for me now, but will check back in a couple of months to see if the AI engine has improved.

Seems cool but limited

So this seems cool but only if you want to fly somewhere & stay in a hotel. No road trips, no AirBnB. There’s nothing for 1 adult over a long weekend (F-M) from Dallas for $850 - unless I bump my budget to $1k and it shows me a getaway to Austin, TX for $607. Not sure why that didn’t show up before but maybe that’s somewhere in the FAQ/How it Works that I haven’t read yet. Not sure I’d use this for the intended purpose because I feel like I might be overpaying.

Has potential

Some design aspects aren’t intuitive and took me some to figure out. I had to raise my budget constantly to actually get results and realized that Elude recommends expensive hotels. Once you choose a suggested itinerary you have to scroll to customize both the flight and hotel (filters and sorting would be much more useful). Essentially, this is just Google flights (explore feature) + Google hotel search. Hoping there’s more in store for Elude in the future

Would have been nice

In short, I was unable to create an account. I filled out the required info and EludeApp stopped me at the password verification process, it kept indicating that the passwords did not match, which clearly they did. It seemed this was purposefully done so I’d be forced to create an account and log in through FB, IG, etc. EludeApp/service would have been nice to try, but the fact that I couldn’t even get past creating an account just wasn’t a good indicator to me.

Clean interface & cool concept

I’ve worked for 6+ years in the travel industry and am super excited by what Elude is offering! The concept is clever. The design and interface clean + easy to use. The results solid.

Time to get inspired and travel! BRB packing my suitcase…

Changes

I put $15k and it suggested Ohio lol. I wish it could go above $15k and could make changes to airline class and hotel class.

Exciting new travel app!

It's really nice to be able to search by budget and get offered exciting locations you might not have thought about.

Flights are affordable and hotel stays are nice!

This is amazing

I haven’t “booked” yet but I’ve put hours into planing an upcoming trip and I plugged some info in here and I can already tell this will save SO much time! I’m really excited to keep using this!

So much better than Expedia

I’ve been using Google and Expedia my whole life, but I always ended up spending more than I planned. Just came back from one - it was all perfect.

Always Wondered Why This Didn’t Exist

Super sleek app and awesome onboarding. Pretty amazing how this brings what used to be hours of work into 3 steps.

The new way to travel!

For all travel lovers this is the new go-to app! It is
super user friendly with a new approach to book based on budget !

Not worth the time useless

First does not list all US airports
Second does not give a list for the whole time frame imputed
Third does not list trips up to the dollar amount either
Put in for $15000 and over 30 days got trips for 5-6 days and $5000 nothing longer and only 6 trips.
This is useless don’t waste your time!

Started great, but then….

It started great. There are some questions to help tailor the recommendations it provides and it’s a great looking app, but after registering and going through the initial survey I learned that the only US starting destination is Austin, TX. Probably a great app for anyone living outside of the US, but was disappointed that wasn’t clear to me before going through the process.

Great Design & Extremely Helpful

You can tell how much hard work and research was done to make EludeApp. It really flows well, has a great look to it, and with a a great objective of saving you $!!

By

Not very US friendly

This is a great idea, however, only a select few US Airports are a choice, particularly on the east coast. Atlanta and Charlotte are both
missing! Living in Charlotte, I would first have to travel to Nashville, New York, New Orleans or Miami to begin my budget friendly trip.
