I started receiving so many unsolicited calls and mails as I signed up here. There is no way to delete account also, and here I am stuck. Nobody to respond also.

There is no comprehensive vetting process, only confirmation new members have a social media account, an email and phone #. There are mostly men posting to meet and host solo travelers. Creepy and very unsafe for female travels+ rates to even use GAFFL in basic form are $10-$40 p/month.

I was excited to find a few likeminded travel buddies but GAFFL feels more like a vacation hook-up site. I couldn’t see GAFFL until I paid for it and after looking at GAFFL for about 30 minutes I decided it wasn’t for me and reached out requesting to delete my account and for a refund. I am giving a one star review because they will not issue a refund and also do not let potential buyers look at GAFFL before paying.

Their app doesn’t have functionality

The apps deactivate account button does not work. I have emailed supporter, received a response from them and they still will not delete my account.

The policy says cancel subscription at any time but this app do not refund money.. beware they just steal money... why would they say about ‘camel at any time’ if they don’t refund money? Should they have to say cancel at any time is they don’t refund money? Beware!!!

I downloaded app. Wasn’t impressed with it. Keep getting emails…meet this person, meet that person, 50% off. On and on. I responded each time to stop sending me emails or contacting me. I even deleted my account, removed app and still getting harassed by constant emails. Very irritating

I thought GAFFL would slowly improve and become easier to use and a better place to find people to travel with. However it has barely changed for the better and now they are wanting you to pay to connect with people. You have to prove you’re a good app before you ask me for money.

This is an awesome platform for people who love roaming around the world. I see people creating trips to go to different places and planning to do different activities like hiking, scuba diving, skiing and more. I can feel the thrill of traveling whenever I look into GAFFL. Sometimes, even if my schedule do not allow me to travel, I look out for the upcoming trips close to me so that I can squeeze in a short trip and connect with people.

A great service to meet travelers from around the world. There is something amazing about publishing your own personalized travel route and then seeing fellow travelers joining up with you. I might meet an enthusiast hiker who’s up for weeklong wilderness hiking or a drinking buddy to enjoy the night life of the city with. GAFFL makes the whole experience very intuitive and fun. It allows me to keep the freedom of solo traveling while connecting with great, likeminded travelers.

GAFFL helped me find travel buddies to share costs and explore destinations together! I got connected with others to hike in national parks and experience cities in the US! In Glacier National Park, we bumped into a grizzly with her cubs! We were lucky to be in a group and thanks to this app for that!
