This is incredibly sad, and I also cannot depend on this for simple routes. 1. Make it so a person can review the turn by turn directions, esp if you only provide next turn info. This gets hard navigating an unfamiliar route and I’ve missed multiple turns because it takes a minute to catch up after a couple turns in a row. Also, show next turn somewhere, so next turn and turn after that. 2. If your off route, there are two choices go back to route or stop and redo the route. Google will auto re-route. Without it re-routing you have to stick to the route. I still think it would be best to offer it as an option, because it also frustrates me when google changes a route to save me 30 seconds. 3. The app continues to use location even when you have it, while using application. Could you do a power off button like waze? I am having to go back and forth now to setting to give and take away permissions. Agreed with prior comment, don’t buy the Triumph for Navigation, but other than that it seems to be a nice bike. Also, maybe look at other developers or options. Some of the issues from a year ago are still issues. It doesn’t have any good ratings. We need a nice app for a nice bike.

Triumph online systems are terrible

OK, so I bought a new Tiger two days ago and tried to sync my phone with its TFT so I could use the My Triumph app to display data from my phone on my Tiger’s TFT. The trouble is, you can’t open the app without registering with Triumph. I had already registered with Triumph so I tried that email address and got back a message that their server was down try again later. When I tried again later, the response was that my email address was already used so I tried the “forgot password“ link thinking I had tge wrong pw. I waited and waited and waited for an email to let me reset my password but it never came. I then tried three other email addresses that I have and which I know have not been registered with Triumph. Same responses “That email address is already in use.” Triumph really needs to get their technology act together.

No bike dashboard or turn by turn navigation

I bought the bluetooth connection module for my Scrambler 1200 XE. This plus installation put me back at least another $500 on an already expensive bike. I managed to pair the bike and my iPhone X for phone, text and music. However, there is no way to get the navigation to pair/work with the app and to have the app show the bike dashboard. The app become pretty useless since these are arguably the features that people will want the most. I regret the purchase and would advise you to wait until Triumph comes up with a decent app-module interaction before purchasing. Looks like more attention to app (not just bike) build quality is needed.
