... until you turn off your new ‘21 Tiger 900 GT Pro and return to it later, only to find that it absolutely will not connect again until you’ve wiped every trace of the bikes Bluetooth from your iPhone 12, and every trace of your phone from the bike, and start the entire pairing process over again from scratch. Attempting to connect the bike without doing so will simply add another bike to your ever-expanding list of BT devices, only to fail to show a connection in MyTriumph itself.
Update: After going through the process several times, and renaming my Tiger’s Bluetooth module (*shrug*), MyTriumph finally makes a reliable connection when turning the bike on. Note that it will show up as two different BT devices; one for nav, and one for everything else, for some reason.
Turn-by-turn navigation works ok for the most part, but I’ll echo what others have said... route planning on MyTriumph is very frustrating, and we seriously need an option to import routes created on Google Maps itself, so I can do this on my PC. The what3words feature easily creates very convoluted routes that take a lot of effort to edit. Some sort of “no backtracking” option would be very helpful here. Also, hitting the button in the first place re-centers your view on the map, so you have to find where you were looking all over again.
Straying from your path results in a re-route.... eventually. It can take a very long time for this to happen, and doesn’t happen until you reach a major junction. Meanwhile, you’re riding along for many miles with no updates on the display whatsoever, wondering if you’ve missed something important, or if it’s ever going to actually re-route you at all.
