DMV Practice Test Reviews

I am trying to study for my learners permit test. I have gotten through a few stages but now it won’t let me go on to the next one without paying for the pro version. There are already a ton of ads that constantly bother you which I’m ok with because I don’t want to pay for the full version. I just think it’s bad business practice to make it seem like you can use the service for free (with some limitations like less features and a bunch of ads) and then after using it for a bit lock everything down and force you to pay if you want to continue. No where that I could see did it say that after a few sets of questions would I need to pay. User be warned!

I passed although the real test was worded differently and as a result I got three questions wrong. Besides that though, some improvements could be made. It would be nice to have a full list of the questions instead of only what you have seen. Also, for my state there was a really weird question...
Q- “Lines on the side of the road”
A- “Deliver incremental value to the customer.”
This is ridiculous and makes no sense. Why is this a thing?

DMVPracticeTest has been my go-to source to learn and practice what I learned from the DMV manual!!

It’s set up like Quizlet Learn function. The great thing about DMVPracticeTest is there’s a variety of questions and they are categorized by general knowledge, fines and limits, and signs and situations. DMVPracticeTest detects which questions you have been getting wrong in which you can review it in a separate tab in DMVPracticeTest . Whether you get the questions wrong or right, an explanation is always provided for every question, which I found extremely helpful to understand. Also, DMVPracticeTest can help you set up a study plan which it will tell you how many questions per day you should practice until the day of your test. If you enable the notifications, it will also remind you to study!

DMVPracticeTest really helped me pass the VA permit test on the first try. I did the whole thing and it gave me so much useful information. I love the quizlet styled app because it helped you remember the questions you get wrong. I definitely recommend DMVPracticeTest if you want to ace your test! GOOD LUCK! (Also do some practice online tests from DMV, it gives you a good feel for the actual test style).

You can set up a study plan to help you master a certain amount of questions per day based on when your test is. If you get a question wrong, it will come back to it and give it to you again instead of not coming back. You also review questions that you already got correct to keep your memory fresh on what you just learned.

I used DMVPracticeTest to practice for the Indiana permit test and I passed with only 1 wrong answer! I also used two other practice test websites and I skimmed through the manual. The questions were relevant and extremely similar if not identical to the ones on the actual test. Definitely use DMVPracticeTest(but remember it shouldn’t be your only source of studying!)

DMVPracticeTest is significantly better then similar apps in terms of what you can get for free in my opinion. It goes into deeper details and makes me feel a lot more confident then some of the other apps that make you pay an outrageous price for just to practice. There are a lot of ads but there not intrusive until after you finish a practice set so it’s not irritating compared to other apps.

If you really want to be confident I would recommend using a combination of apps because some of the apps do have better visuals that could really help in combination with this.

I’ve taken my permit test twice and passed twice using DMVPracticeTest!! (Had to take it again recently since it experienced and we all know how corona ruined everything..) it’s basically just like quizlet. The real test itself has the same question, but it’s words some questions differently . 10/10 would recommend .

studied all the questions until i had 0 weak ones and only got one off on my permit test, which was my mistake for misreading the question. i do find it questionable that according to DMVPracticeTest the BAC for minors max is .02%, but the CA guide book says .01%. it also says permit can be acquired at 15, but according to the 2020 handbook it is 15 1/2. pretty accurate otherwise. a lot of the questions on the exam were repeats :)

I used DMVPracticeTest studied all parts in a matter of two days went to take my permit test and passed I got 100 percent on one and 98 on the other only getting two questions wrong out of 20 I am so proud of myself and DMVPracticeTest is the answer and plus it’s FREE so I had to leave a positive real review these questions where literally from the test these questions were actually harder lol however good luck on your future test.

DMVPracticeTest gives you a study plan and it tells you how many days you have until you take the permit test , plus it always gives you the number of questions you should answer a day to make a good results on the test . for example , I put in my test day and then since it’s 40 days away it says that I should answer 14 questions a day to make good results on my test . DMVPracticeTest has been a great help!

This absolutely 100% helped me with my Delaware test. The only question I missed and that was not on your app was “ What do you do if you brake pedal gets stuck” or somthing of that sort. The Answers were 1 pull it up with your toe 2 Reach down and pull it up. 3 Put the car in neutral. I think that’s how it was. Pls for further ppl from my area put some type of question like that on DMVPracticeTest . I thank you to the fullest😊

DMVPracticeTest has a very simple format and allows you to make a personalized study schedule to ensure you learn everything by the test date. I’m not sure if it includes all of the information necessary to pass the test but so far it is my favorite driving app to use. There are adds after each question section but they are not annoying as they are in other apps and you can easily get rid of it before continuing. Overall a really helpful app and I hope it leads me to pass the permit test!

I love DMVPracticeTest, it’s very thorough and easy to use, it helps you memorize everything easily and go back to work on your weak points in ways that no other apps can. I feel so much more prepared with the help of DMVPracticeTest. And the updates perfect it even more. The only thing is that I wish it had a daily reminder for your lessons everyday because a lot of times I forget and have to set my own reminders. I just think it’d be more convenient. Other than that, it’s perfect!

DMVPracticeTest is amazing. I’ve tried countless driving apps and they always have locked content that costs money but DMVPracticeTest doesn’t have any locked content, it’s completely free! There are ads but they don’t take away from the positive experience. Super helpful! I’m extremely confident that DMVPracticeTest will help me ace the written exam. I absolutely love the way it tracks your progress with a little car and that each chapter has a test to make sure you absorbed the content. Would absolutely recommend to anyone struggling.

so, I’m one of those people who always freaks out about every little test, quiz, you name it. Using DMVPracticeTest to study helped me big time. It drilled the answers into my head, and let me know which questions were still weak or not so that I could practice them individually. After using DMVPracticeTest to study every day, and a couple of practice tests here and there, the day to take my test finally came. And..I PASSED! So, bottom line, I would recommend giving DMVPracticeTest a try to study. It helped me out a lot.

DMVPracticeTest has really helped me be able to learn what I need to know while also keeping it interesting. The ability to set a notification for a specific time helps to remind me to practice everyday, and they make sure that you will learn and master all the questions by your actual test date. They also understand that if you miss it once, you might learn it again without needing to retract it multiple times, which is very helpful! All in all, a great app!

I have to say I looked at so many other apps for my test but this one is the ONE!!! I passed my test I study day and night and passed literally !!!! This paid off because when you get answers wrong they continuously go over them and over and over and over. Until it’s stuck in your head no app I have seen has continuously kept doing that so that helps so much. I was so nervous but then questions is really all what I covered on DMVPracticeTest !! And I recommend this to anybody getting ready to take there test. THANK YOU SO MUCH

Okay so I was really nervous to take my permit written test because I didn’t know anything of the road and my appointment was in a week and a half. So I was searching for good apps or practice test to take and when I was on TikTok and a video popped up on my fyp. So I download it and it has many practice tests to take and flash cards of the signs of the road, general knowledge, and other things. Plus it also tells me how many flash cards I need to learn a day till I go take my permit written exam. I ONLY MISSED 3 out of 46. So y’all trust me DMVPracticeTest the best to study for ur test.

Awesome! Writing this review right after passing the test. I signed up for the test 4 days ago. I then crammed for the test across 6h of learning in DMVPracticeTest, spread out across subway rides, queues and waiting for my food. Flash card format helps with quickly absorbing. Instant quiz feedback on whether you’re wrong and the correct explanation is super helpful for retention. Spiral learning pedagogy (quizzes introduce new questions and still test for old questions) ensures that you still retain and refresh the earlier lessons. Handy review section to see which questions you often got wrong. Very limited ads as well, so this review is the least I could do!

In the midst of finishing up learning on the older app, it told me to download this newer version. However, I didn’t want to have to go through all those questions again, so I simply finished reviewing on the old app and took the practice test on this newer app. Upon completion of the tests, it would not let me move forward or see my score! How should I know if I have done well enough to pass if I cannot see my own score?

I’ve been using it for last couple days and it very useful! It repeats questions until you master them all! Breaks it up in parts too. Only problem is there are a lot of ads but if you don’t mind the ads I say go for it !

Nothing to complain about the ads. The questions are good and the system to master them is very good for memorization. The only annoying thing is that the ads would go back to full volume even when I muted them before.

I used DMVPracticeTest to prepare for my permit test. The format is kind of like Quizlet, in which you need to answer questions correctly twice in order to “master” it and there is a section where you can work on questions you are struggling with. The questions were similar to what I saw on my state’s test and I passed first try!

Using the book is very difficult especially when you have to go over it and write down stuff. DMVPracticeTest is very helpful and helps me learn quickly I recommend DMVPracticeTest to everyone. It tells me when I’m wrong and correct me.

I had to download this one cause the one I was using became out of date and it recommended this one! Very awesome!! I have a hard time following the book when I read it and DMVPracticeTest helps me understand so much more than what I was reading.

I’m using DMVPracticeTest to study for my permit test and it is so useful!! Easy to study for your DMV test with or without the manual. I had sent a request to change one part of DMVPracticeTest and they gladly complied to my request which I was very happy to see! Definitely recommend~

Great app but the ad banners at the bottom make it difficult to review certain questions since I can’t even click the next button

It’s amazing, and it helps you a lot especially with questions you don’t know at first. And it double checks to make sure you remember. I recommend DMVPracticeTest completely!
