I’ve had two major issues with JustHatched . The first issue is that I’ve tried (multiple times) to update the initial baby weight for my daughter, and it won’t update. Next, my husband is unable to add data when he changes a diaper/does a feeding. It prompts him to pay $9.99. We paid $120 for a “lifetime membership,” and you’re supposed to be able to share across partners. Ultimately, we would have been better off using a different app to track our baby’s diapers and feedings. I’ve reported both issues through their support team, and received no response which also shows me their customer service just doesn’t care about their customers. My advice- don’t download this one and instead use a different app.

Looked up JustHatched to help track feedings and naps, works great for that until after 3 days and you have to pay a subscription to use. I will go back to my pen and paper way.

All my data was lost!!! I went to look at what time my babies last feeding was, and everything was gone. Sleeps,feedings,diaper changes… everything like I never even started tracking them.

I was very disappointed to learn you can only use JustHatched for 3 days before you have to pay monthly for a subscription! There is no free option. Super disappointed because I loved the simplicity of JustHatched but it’s not worth $10/month when there’s apps out there that do the same thing for free!

App is great for the most part. But for some reason it has a hard time updating/syncing data mom inputs or that I input. We like the ease of use. The beautiful design and layout.

We love that both partners can input data, especially since we both have the baby at different times throughout the day. Me in the mornings since I have to take baby to work, and mom the rest of the day once she is off. But the data I put in keeps not showing up in her phone, or vice versa. Sometimes for a day or 2. We restart app which sometimes fixes it, sometimes doesn’t, or we have to wait a few hours which sometimes fixes it sometimes doesn’t, this last time it has been a day and the sleep and feeding still hasn’t been synced we had to enter manually. It’s starting to throw us off. We Have checked for update but that’s not the case either. Very frustrating. Because we really really want to like JustHatched. There are free apps out there to track or you can use notes, but we like the feel and look of JustHatched.

The other issue is when we travel from EST to CST it throws off all time data. It seems like it tries to convert everything to the new time zone maybe. I don’t know. So we pretty much stop using it the whole time we were in the different time zone and just used our notes app, which while it does sync data better, is not as nice as JustHatched.

So, for having an app that we pay for, it’d be nice if we can get the data syncing bug sorted between Mom and Dad. If that can’t be fixed, let us know so we aren’t paying for just another notes app.

Tried to record my baby’s proper weight, but it won’t even let me get the right lbs and ounces. Every time I put in 7lb 11oz, it just sets it to 7lb 9oz. I’m even paying the annual fee, so for my money I would expect the ability to properly track my baby’s measurements with no issues.

Additionally, at one point I was trying to check my baby’s measurements at birth and when I did so it deleted the initial recording. It will not let me go back in to my baby’s profile and set their starting measurements so that any updates I make will be recorded as proper updates.

Please fix this measurements recording issue and I’ll change my review!

I love JustHatched it’s so easy to use and nice looking but I want to be able to share it with my husband. There needs to be options for caregivers to log in.

I love love love the minimalistic design of JustHatched ! Very simple and easy to use. I’ve downloaded all the other popular baby apps and this is by far the cutest!! Definitely my fav! The only downside is the baby growth section seems to be malfunctioning. Everytime I click on it, it kicks me out of JustHatched so I am not able to access that section or input my child’s growth. I’m hoping this will be fixed soon. Other than that JustHatched is definitely a must have! (:

I like JustHatched because it’s simple, but I wish that it would show the night and day time hours separately instead of together and not the total hours all combined.

If the developer is reading this, I am begging you to please create an input field for the amount of liquid in each feeding. I spend entirely too much time trying to get the slider to land on the exact number I’m trying for. Aside from that JustHatched is incredible!

Update: the developer listened to the feedback and I am extremely grateful!!

Hey I’m a new mom & I needed something to keep track of my baby daily life without pen and paper & JustHatched completely saved me! Thank you guys so much for this! I have already spread the word at the hospital!
