I am amazed at this apps ability to create music so quickly! The sequencer is very easy to use and if you want to play the pads it auto quantizes. So whether your an experienced beat maker or no nothing about music, you can be creating in seconds! The Ableton Link feature is 🔥. It’s the 2021 version of a drum circle where everyone can be linked and create a groove and music. SDSxSimpleDrumSampler is a must have if you’re a creative or just love music!

Loving this bad boy great samples btw was hoping you could add adsr control or am I not seeing this ? I like that you are offering different forms of payment to use SDSxSimpleDrumSampler ie monthly sub, yearly, and outright buy. I chose the later I don’t like renting personally. I like how you make use of the full size iPads with the larger screens one feature suggestion could be different midi/sound settings around the 4 corners of each pad when in this mode think hardware kieth McMillen quneo. Definitely like the drag and drop sample support as well. Glad to see you are the hardworking type of developers thanks.

Giving it five stars however there is one request. When changing the midi input channel to something other than Omni, when SDSxSimpleDrumSampler is force quit, it defaults back to Omni channel. I am able to do the same with other apps and it remember the MIDI input channel. If I am doing something wrong, please inform me. Otherwise great app!

You guys nailed it. Such a simple, intuitive workflow and most importantly for me, super high fun factor. Killer internal kits but I was quick to get my own hits and sounds imported into SDS without any issues. Man, good work on this. Loving creating with it a ton.
Maybe midi learn and an amplitude envelope is in store for future updates? Can’t think of much more to add to it. Awesome!

Great tool! I wish loading your on samples were a t bit more easy. I got the basics down but love to see that AUV3 version. A lot of people would use this in AUM. I do enjoy the simple layout. It would be nice to see a midi sequencer looper built into it with the potential to record. Just a few thoughts.

Use factory samples or import your own and play them back. That’s all I was looking for. Simple good sounding filter, delay and verb. I’m all in on this one!
What’s it need? Not much IMHO! I’d like to see reverse sample play (unless I missed it) and AUv3 capability so I can host it without worrying about IAA going away.

This is one of those apps where I’m surprised it doesn’t get mentioned more often. Definitely one of my favorite drum machine/sampler apps. The layout is great, the sounds are great, and actually everything is pretty great.

I definitely love SDS-x, it’s clean and clear. You can see everything you need to on one screen. It’s easy to import samples and create kits. The presets are pretty good too. It’s easy to use, sounds great, and fits great into any iOS music setup. 5 stars.

Citrus and Moody Blue are my favorite kits so far. Definitely enjoying SDSxSimpleDrumSampler a ton and little touches like the metronome are great bonuses. MIDI, Audiobus, import, full features and a fantastic price.
Highly recommended. Using on an iPhone7 and iPad flawlessly.

Nice job. Please add more pads, perhaps via scroll or as virtual pads. Using an external controller, I really want a kit with at least 15 voices, and 30 would be great.
