Contact Kast Support

I bought this app when it was 10$ and had just came out. I knew it wouldn’t be perfect, there would be bugs and it would probably glitch out like the Rabbit app used to do. I was fine with all this, I knew they were working to fix it. I was happy to be able to support an app and website that would allow me to stream shows and movies with my friends who live far away. Then they made the app free, whatever I was still happy I supported this start up. But then, they added the ads. Since then, on the off chance I can actually get into my friend’s rooms, it only works about 10% of the time, and that 10% I have to work for. I can’t enter anyone’s room without restarting the app completely at least twice. When I get into a room, the chat won’t pop up and I have to restart again, it’ll freeze in the middle of playing for me and no one else, have to restart the app. I could watch a 30 min show and it turns into over an hour of trying to even get this stupid app to work. I contacted support to try to get anything to make this app worth it, a refund or even just a free month of premium so I wouldn’t have to deal with the ads at least for awhile. They refused to do anything about it. (and it took them weeks to respond) I would not use this app. I deleted it from my phone and I won’t be using it again.

The latest update on Kast removed the ability for users to share their screen (on desktop) without having to buy a membership. Kast literally serves no purpose to me now...why would I pay them monthly to do something I can do for free using discord? I used Kast just because I knew how to use it better, but there’s no way I’m buying a membership for something that used to be free. Rabbit was so much better...it’s been ruined by Kast. The app itself was never too great seeing as how it was impossible to share your screen on mobile...it was really only useful to watch someone else’s stream. Also, when using Kast, I always had this glitch where I couldn’t see my friend in my friend list...like when I looked at their profile it showed them as my friend, but it would have an “add friend” button and weren’t in my friend list. Anyways I’m deleting Kast now since it is now utterly useless for me.

Simply got rid of an amazing software / site in order to replace it with something that doesn’t even work. I hope you spent a fortune in an attempt to buy out competition so your service can continue to lose money to other options. When you think that the only way you’ll make money is by buying out competition, maybe you should rethink your business. You get customers and keep them by having a good product, not being the only option. (Especially when you can be replaced by discord) <3 Even if you’re working on something, this should not have EVER been available to buy to simply download. I feel bad for the $10 you took from people to give only a skeleton of an app.
