StikBot Studio 2 0 Reviews

So I got 1.0 version 2 years ago. I loved to make little short films and StikBotStudio20 was perfect. Then I took a break and came back to see 2.0. I saw the reviews and decided to keep using 1.0. I went in the settings and saw that they unlabeled everything!!!!! I was very angry and was forded to get 2.0. I then make part 6 of my short film. I wake up in the morning to see my movie is all white!?! It said that it doesn’t work anymore and I need to update it. I clicked update and it did nothing, so all I have left is white!!! I looked in my update history and find there wasn’t an update in the first place!!!
The STUPID company decided that they could ruin 1.0 and unlabel everything and force me to buy a dumb app that deletes hours of progress for and update that never happened.

GET ANOTHER APP AND NOT THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

This is a fun app that I really enjoy. I love it’s easy to use features. However. If StikBotStudio20 isn’t consistently running, it is hard to pick up a project where you left off. If you close out StikBotStudio20 , when you return to your project, it requires you to scroll through all of your frames to get to the end. As I make a larger scale movie, I have to scroll through at least a thousand frames before I can start working on it. It takes a few minutes, and is frustrating. I wish they could at least let you watch what you have. You can, but once it ends, it brings you back to the beginning. So I sit there bored as I scroll and scroll and scroll. This effort is rewarded by StikBotStudio20 crashing. If I’m lucky, I can take 3 or 4 frames before it crashes. It’s unfortunate. Really, I wouldn’t mind it crashing if I didn’t have to scroll through all the frames again. It’s a shame, because I really love StikBotStudio20 otherwise.
-Ps. I am writing this part 12 days after the part above. In trying to publish a movie, all of the frames in my 1300 frame video have turned white. This took me a month to make. I am extremely disappointed. I don’t like StikBotStudio20 anymore. Unless the producers can fix everything I have complained about, I will not be using StikBotStudio20 again.

I started doing it because Stickbot studio 0.1 was awesome and it advertised this crappy app and I thought it was good quality, and it actually was better than the previous Stickbot studio...I was COMPLETELY wrong. First of all, all the tutorials didn’t work and all I’ve learned from waiting for something to happen was that the tutorials where stupid and completely crappy. So I just went on without the tutorials...and guess what when I was trying to make the video: THIS CRAPPY APP JUST DIDNT WORK AT ALL. So I don’t know if just Apple iPads or this whole stupid app is just stupidly crappy but I believe StikBotStudio20 is just a piece of crap for Apple iPads because based on the reviews, it works for everyone else...but if you are a Apple iPad owner...I believe this will be a good tip:

I have been using StikBotStudio20 A year after came out and then I took a break which was one year then I pick it back up and I open StikBotStudio20 I press create a movie because I know how this works in an immediately crashes I tried this 10 times and crashed an then I decided to work if this and then I tried to change the green screen and it crashed do not recommend this doesn’t work and it’s a bug because the first version is even better than this and please fix this

I like StikBotStudio20 a lot especially how the tutorials work, but StikBotStudio20 can be very confusing. And I hate how if you’re not done with your stop motion and you just wanna see how it is so far and you forget to go to the end of the stop motion to continue. It just ruins the whole stop motion because you have a whole scene in a different place and it’s so annoying. Plz fix or change it PLZZZZZ! Whenever I do something or come back to my video there all of a sudden is a white photo with nothing on it and it totally just deletes the scene image!

StikBotStudio20 needs to be fixed. It has too many bugs to count, for starters,you can’t delete anything from the capture photo mode. Also most of the little pop up warnings and messages just say “missing text” and lastly 90% everything you need to make a movie goes of if the screen making it impossible to actually use. This is a fun app when it works, but that is rare.

StikBotStudio20 is ok. You can add audio, it can turn on the flashlight to provide extra light, you can add a grid to the screen and you can do a few other things. I would like to point out that there is a problem with the movie mode. After you use StikBotStudio20 for a while eventually you will get to a point to where you need to press the movie mode button multiple times. I usually need to press the button around thirty times. Also some times your movie and all of your frames will be turned into a white screen. This is very annoying especially when you worked really hard on something. Also sometimes the text on the screen isn’t there and it just says missing text. This isn’t good for beginners who don’t know what every button does. Anyway I would recommend StikBotStudio20 to anyone who is ok with these problems

Ok. StikBotStudio20 is pretty awesome. It's easy to use, and you don't even need the stikbots!
But there are a few things.
1. I wish that when I'm in movie mode, I can delete a frame I just took. I made a mistake in my movie and I wished I could've fixed that earlier.
2. This afternoon I was making a movie that I had been working on for three days. I FINALLY finished, and for some reason at the very end of the movie it was showing scenes from yesterday! I'm really annoyed because I'm a beginner and I have to figure out how to fix it.
Otherwise, pretty good app. I would recommend this to ameteur stop motion makers.
Edit: So it's been a few minutes since I've written this review. I've come back to tell you that AT LEAST 20 FRAMES HAVE MOVED AND IM INCREDIBLY ANNOYED. I don't want to have to do this.
PLEASE FIX

I love StikBotStudio20 and it’s quite good for stop motion, but unlike the zing studio app you can’t put your own picture on the green/blue screen. This was one of my favorite parts, I would be able to take a picture on a trip, then go back home and have my stikbots be in my picture like they’re really there. But beside that StikBotStudio20 is great. :)

StikBotStudio20 is pretty good but the Recording feature doesn’t work unlike in the first one that just plays the video and you speak as the video goes on this one’s audio doesn’t work at all and the picture taking sound is very annoying and you can’t turn it off.

I have to admit, they added all good features back. Except for a huge problem and a smaller but still a decent problem. The huge problem is; you cannot choose your own green screen or blue screen background, you have to choose from presets. And the decently bad problem is you can’t zoom in. Great app, but things need to be fixed NOW.

I have made a video on the stick or studio 2 app and when I was done making a 1400 picture stop motion it said, “ your movie is old and will not work anymore with this version of stickbot. StikBotStudio20 needs to update your movie data first.” StikBotStudio20 is already up to date and still the movie I made is all white screen. When I play it it’s just all white. I’m hoping you can bring back the video because I worked for a long time to make it just for it to not play. Please help!

StikBotStudio20 can be used more than just with Stikbots, it’s a pretty cool app with fun sound effects. But some things I would fix would be the move tool, when I would mess up the order of something and try to select all of the photos to move them, it wouldn’t let me. Selecting one by one is the way to do it, but it’s a pain especially when it’s a large amount of photos. Another thing would be sometimes if there is a lot of photos and you play the movie to test it, it won’t load. That was a little upsetting because I worked hard on it. But other than that it’s a great app with cool green screed abilities, definitely would recommend if you are into stop motion

I like StikBotStudio20 cause you can make the stikbots fly and stuff however there are some stuff that I don’t like. 1. I really don’t like it that the sound effects are all scattered and they aren’t organized into sections like in Zing Studio! It is so annoying that I have to go and keep going down until I find the on I’m looking for. So fix that please. 2. I don’t like it how when I’m waiting for it to save to my photos and when I come back all my frames are white and I can’t watch it then I have to do it all over again. Fix that too please. That is all I have to say. I hope you fix these soon!

Update: Thank you for at least organizing the sound effects. There is another glitch I’ve come across. While I was editing the animation, I turned off my iPad to set up some stuff, then when I came back no went into picture mode, I couldn’t take pictures! This got me frustrated because I was working hard on it. So could you please fix this, and I’ll give it a five star. Thank you.

I love StikBotStudio20 , but I would love it if there was a feature where you can’t see anything that is blue or green. I’ve already figured out how to use the green screen and blue screen feature. but what’s missing, is a feature where you can’t see the blue or green screen. because I looked at the jump tutorial and I saw that I would need a green screen but I didn’t want to use the background. so the thing to do is to probably add a feature where you can’t see what’s blue or green. if there was a feature like that The jump tutorial would probably be easier. so I hope my suggestion will be real someday.

So I see Some of my deleted movie parts and some of the metal movie parts at the start I had this two times but one of them had a copy of one of the whole movie parents at the beginning but I wasn’t supposed to be there I hope you fix this please do I don’t want it to happen again 2022 Feb 21

Ok so StikBotStudio20 has to be an updated now it is great but the issuers again I was sad but I think it is about the storage right and that thing again your movie is old it need to be updated I did the same thing so pls fix fix fix fix it it

So I love StikBotStudio20 because it looks like the stikbots are moving and talking on their own😱😱😱and there’s only one problem the number of stars the only reason I didn’t want to get this game at first is because most of the stars were one and the only thing I want is more megabots

So me and some people were making a video and we took a break because my phone had to charge. When we came back to continue the video all the descriptions said “No Text” and some of the buttons weren’t popping up. One of those buttons is the camera button, so we can’t continue the video.

Pls help, very frustrated.

I like how when u take a picture it leaves the last motion from the stickbot it makes it a lot easier. The green screen is also cool I can take apictur of the beach and boom my stickbots can be there. It is also very fun to play with stickbots in StikBotStudio20. I’m getting stickbots for Christmas and I have so many ideas for videos.

It’s like every time you try to watch your movie and you can like only watch it not for a long period everything just go white. I tried to watch it and I always make it to 12 frames. That is really dumb just to put 12 frames if you got the normal version and thought it was not going be like that. I would give this a 0 stars instead of 1 but to bad I can’t do that.

At first, I thought that this new Stikbot was great. There were a bunch of new stuff that were never found on the original Stikbot that made it easy to record. However, my positive opinion was ruined when it crashed numerous times and when it failed load a video that I spent around six hours making. So if you are looking for an app to record movies, this is not the one you’re looking for.

I got this because i love making stop motions i got the first app but when i saw they made this one i got cause im on tablet it worked better than the original but the sounds are not organized in folders and frames always turn white and then the game crashes

I was making the beginning of my movie when I see that I only have 2 frames left to work with! If you can make more frames for the movie maker then every one will have a better experience for StikBotStudio20.

I don’t know what is going on with StikBotStudio20 I think the other one was better because in StikBotStudio20 I can not delete my movies and it play my movies backwards

I recently got into Stikbots and they are very fun I love making movies with them,But there is a big problem. I will be in the middle of a movie and the thing crashes on me and I can never finish my movies. I’m thinking of trying the original

I don’t hate this product, I think it’s cool, but when I do green/blue screen mode. They make the characters look invisible. I don’t know if it’s the lighting, but I just have a problem with that. But good product though.👍🏻

Okay I’m not mad but it kicks me out after five seconds when I’m seeing how i did on my animation but I can’t because the pictures turn white. Pls fix thx

So well everything Else in StikBotStudio20 works fine the ability/icon to delete old projects/movies doesn't work or doesn’t do anything so I just have a bunch of old movies in my galley that won’t go away no matter how many times I try hitting the delete button

When I do the thing it keeps on moving my clips on the spots I don’t want it in pls fix it when I take a pic it moves it to the middle or beginning when it’s supposed to be in the end

I love stikbots yet StikBotStudio20 has issues as in crashing and one of my videos where turned into white But can you add a erasing feature where you erase things that you don’t in you vid

StikBotStudio20 has gotten a revamp since last year. We’ve been getting less crashes and the UI changes have been welcoming to the kids. Thank you for continuously enhancing StikBotStudio20!!! Please keep it up.

So I now know what people are saying because it’s happening to me about kicking me out like this other I play and it kicks me out too. There is my little problem, I hope you fixed this like I told the other game

So when I first tried out zing studio 1.0, it was a bit confusing of where to go and stuff. But now woth this...life has changed

I adore stickbot studio but it says you can only record per one square!! I can’t say a full sentence while my characters are moving please fix as soon as you possibly can.

This app is trash. Do not download. When I play my stop motion I can’t watch it past a certain frame. I rate this app 1 star.
