I am absolutely so disappointed in Fam and the help service for MONTHS I’ve been trying to get help regarding my account I emailed and even dmed a few of there accounts from instagram and as they were helping me little by little the issue was only half fixed I cannot log into my account and I haven’t been able to for a long time and it’s extremely frustrating I started to not get any response back on instagram and every time I try to login I have a continued message repeating to me error error this is really sad because I honestly really like Fam and made quite a few friends but I cant even talk to any of them anymore BECAUSE I CAN’T EVEN LOG BACK INTO MY ACCOUNT. So you can see I’m very quite upset about this.

I’m 28 years old. I tried this out cause I was bored and in quarantine. It repeatedly matched me with 18 year old girls. That is so creepy! I accepted one call with someone that said they were 26, and it was a little kid! I immediately deleted my account. This seems like it could easily become a breeding ground for sex trafficking and child predators.

To Fam creators: Sex trafficking is one of the biggest crimes going on in the world today. The concept of Fam isn’t bad, but you’re opening a door for some horrible things. What world do you live in?? Are you unaware that children are taken advantage of on a daily basis? And it starts with the internet and apps like this!! Kids download it, not knowing the risks, and get manipulated. Like I said the concept is not very original, and not a bad concept at first glance; but you need ID/age verification because there are little kids on here lying about their age!!! So creepy guys!!

I have had Fam since it came out and have been having trouble. I thought that I would need to delete it and download it again, but when I got Fam back, it made me create a new account and I lost my old one. I just want to log back into my old one. That is something you all need to improve quick. I got into my account, but now since I got back into it. I have had been given reports about the account and for permanently reported and got kicked out of my account and cannot do anything. You guys need to fix Fam , as soon as possible. I just want to be able to create a new account.

I don’t get on Fam at all but my phone always blows up about this app and Fam pairs me up with people over five years older than me and they even text me. That’s not the problem though because I never texted back, I get on Fam once a week and every time i do it says you account he been reported for inappropriate behavior, mind you I never get on Fam and now all of a sudden I keep getting reported. I ended up staying off Fam for a while. When k get on Fam I just see who followed me or who texted me and that’s it. I got on today and it says your account has been disabled for inappropriate behavior and I wasn’t even on Fam . So I hate Fam because I get reported constantly and now I’m disabled from Fam. You guys gotta do better with these apps🤦🏾‍♀️

I don’t like the fact that when I enter Fam I get a count down then it takes pictures of me or tries too. What’s the deal with that? Then it just be stuck loading up.

When I first got Fam I wouldn’t allow it to access my camera and mic unless I felt comfortable allowing it, but when I tried opening it, it brought up the 3,2,1, ⚡️ and close out. So now that I’ve allowed it access it don’t close out but never seems to load and I hate the random picture taking because for all I know it could be used for fake profiles on here or on other apps I know I don’t use or never will use.

I originally downloaded Fam for its purpose to ‘make friends’. A lot of people on Fam are just straight up weird and only want NUDES. It puts you in random video calls that you can’t turn off or have the option to not want to video call. It’s pretty buggy and annoying for people who feel uncomfortable that don’t want to show themselves on video. At least give the option to not want to video call instead of automatically putting people in random calls. My experience on Fam has been nothing but negative. There are children on Fam who pretend to be older as well and it’s just overall not a friendly environment to make ‘friends’ on. It’s basically like Tinder and FaceTime having a baby. If you want an app to find people to get nudes off of, then this is Fam for you. Lots of horny people on there! Another issue I had with Fam is you can’t really edit your profile much. I’ve had a lot of issues trying to fix my profile forcing me to remake my account a few times. It’s overall buggy and full of horny people who don’t care to be your friend. I could be wrong, I’m sure some people have made friends on Fam, but from a lot of people I’ve talked to they had the same issue with receiving nudes or getting begged. If you do end up getting Fam I hope it works out for you, it isn’t for everyone.

So I was using it, and I got these random people following me and I don’t even know them. This is pairs you with people who you don’t even know. If you press one wrong button your in a live with someone. I for one do not recommend Fam to anyone that is young. They need to have an age verification. Cause when you download Fam all you have to do is press OK and it will download. That is very dumb and should be fixed. TINY children download this because they want friends, well, Fam is VERY dangerous for little kids and it’s dangerous for teens to. I do not like Fam because people anymore are horrible. So if you have Fam DELETE IT!!! It’s a very unsafe app for everyone. If you want to make more friends then try socializing as well. Fam is horrible!!!

You’ll immediately notice that the camera is always on while you have Fam open and who knows if it’s still running while it’s open in the background. If you log in to an account it’ll make you create a new one because the Continue button does not log you in even if you press Next on the keyboard BUT it will immediately tell you when your password is wrong. I opted for the daily call to make a new friend but it was at a bad time so after declining I had been called back two more times by the same contact which is weird because the make-a-new-friend daily call always called once. But after that point I was forcibly logged out of Fam to find out you can’t get back in. Install at your own risk!

I haven’t even used the main feature of Fam yet but I already have multiple complaints. First of all when picking your interests there’s very few options and you can’t delete them, you can only change them. Second, when it says invite all contacts it literally means invite all contacts. You press the button, even on accident (there’s no confirmation) it sends a text with your name in it to every single one of your contacts including ones that you don’t even want to invite,, you don’t get to choose who it sends too. Edit: the whole idea of texting your whole contact list is beyond dumb. people have their bosses numbers in their phone and their parents and it’s just ridiculous

I think Fam is decent. The whole concept behind it is pretty smart; however, the little things are the reason its just decent. One thing is the problem with joining the call, it is on no matter what if u have Fam open. For instance i could be in a private chat with someone and then someone else will join my facetime when i didnt want them there and can see me the whole time im texting. Consequently, if i dont want my face seen i have to point the camera away or have it covered in anticipation of someone joining. Secondly, the texting part of Fam is not awful; however, when typing a message the send arrow gets in the way of what im typing so for me to see that i spelled a word right i have to type more letters to see if there’s an error, and then i have to back track what i typed to fix it. Lastly, i think it‘s a little inconvenient when trying to leave a chat room or profile page and the only way out is by hitting the button on the top corner. The main reason i say that is because every time i try to hit the button, the slightest miss of the button takes me to the profile page when on the chat room bit then i hit the back arrow out of the profile back to the chat room and miss again. Overall, it would be better if you could swipe back rather than having to hit the button in the top corner. In general Fam isn't awful. Its understandable to have these mistakes because its new but overtime i hope they get fixed.

Fam itself is cool, but it’s kinda annoying when I’m getting calls while driving from people on this app because you have to have another person to even use Fam . I haven’t really been able to use Fam because I don’t want to call other people to make calls sometimes. I’d rather just do a call by myself. Fam used to be like that and it was cool. It’s even cool that you have the option to call with others, I just don’t want that to be the only option because it can be an inconvenience.

Keeping this short, I personally don’t mind Fam but there are issues with it still. For example you could just be sitting on the home screen or discover section of Fam , then someone could join you or start a call with you without there being a 2 way agreement or answer system. Another thing is that Fam doesn’t currently consistently update your age, so I think people should at the very least be able to change that. Other than that I just think somethings need tweaking and updates and it’d be alright.

The icons on the screen covers the persons face and it can’t be taken away soo it just stays there and I would change it so that if you want them to come up just tap on the screen and they’ll just pop up anyways please try Changing that and also I would like for there to be a turn camera around option. Another problem that’s been happening is that sometimes it just puts a black screen and it says that people are joining but it doesn’t show then it’s just black and no sound. Oh and sometimes it lags and it doesn’t allow me go to the next person as much as a click to go off the current person I’m chatting with it doesn’t work at all.

AmazingAdd that you could do so much with. I’ve made so many new friends and always keep making friends which is a lovely experience for me. When Fam is finished it is going to be very popular and a lot of people are going to wish that they started using it more often because there are a lot of great conversations with people on here

I want my account back that I had like a few minutes ago because I got banned for no reason all I was doing was twisting my hair and what do y’all really be banning people for some people get banned for no reason I hope y’all are not racist because if so that’s crazy I just want my account back that I just had I didn’t do anything wrong that crazy how y’all be banning people that didn’t do nun that’s messed up

There amazing and you should definitely get Fam they love to get your snap score higher talk and make new friends and have the most fun ever i think Fam is the reason i opened up to people and got to know people i made friends and my social anxiety has definitely improved i love this you can get your snap score up while meeting new people it’s life changing I definitely recommend this to you and your family and your friends tell everyone you know it would be a great experience.

Fam helps you get more people on your map and also helps you get more friends to you will grange twice as many as you have tight know quick go to Fam Store and download this app trust me you will like it I love it just go downloaded it please and if you do not like it witch I don’t see why you would not like it but if you don’t like it you and delete it so please just trust me and go download Fam go to Fam Store type in this app then put in the password and BOOM you will make lots of more friends and your snap will blow up

Wish you could start a call and have an age limit to who can join that call keeps a child in a child’s place. As an young adult, i was bullied and called very derogatory names, when i tried to report nothing happen but a glitch that boots me off Fam . I’ve deleted Fam because i know my worthy and don’t have time for children. The only other thing is when they have multiple people added to the video chat it lags bad id say work on that other then that everything is great

It’s not a bad app but, I do hate the fact that it adds your whole contact list even if none of them have Fam and the fact it went straight to the main page to talk to random people when I was looking at my profile, I feel like Fam would be real nice if it was more layer out and not as 1.) laggy 2.) hard to control 3.) really boring. Other than those I feel like Fam has potential.

Well I honestly think this is a very good app to meet and make new friends because u can really share a lot of things that you have in common wit a large variety of people around the world. And that it’s not just you who has something that you do that other people don’t many people on Fam are nice and others are just rude or are just not you know use to people being nice but what I am saying really is that Fam this app if made for people to discover new people.

I haven’t tried Fam yet but it seems sketchy to me because I got a text about Fam and how someone wanted me to join the chat because they “knew me” or something so I called the number and all it’s saying is that I can change whatever the person was saying and then it hangs up!? All I want to get an answer to how did this person get my number, do I know the person or is it fake, and why doesn’t the number work? Plz answer my questions I’m kind of nervous 😬....

I clicked on an invite link a friend sent me and I decided to download Fam. I created an account which seemed fine and all but when I looked through there wasn’t much I wanted to use Fam for. so I tried to delete my account but it kept taking me back to the original ‘create an account’ page. I tried this a couple times but it seems as though it’s the same account but different names. I hated that I couldn’t get rid of my stuff so I deleted Fam .

I downloaded Fam because i got a few texts about it from my friends. As soon as a followed them back, anytime I went on Fam i was automatically put into a live. I also accidentally sent a text about Fam to ALL of my contacts. Fam gave no confirmation of me doing this and the only way I found out was through people asking me about the text they received, so embarrassing.

With the aid of Fam, I can not only chat with multiple people at once but can also hang out with them directly.

the customer service is amazing! they responded to my issue/recommendations within 10 minutes, and thoroughly too!

Not only me but also my friends prefer using Fam to keep in touch with others and meet new friends for its simplicity and convenience.

Super easy to use with great features. I have no difficulty in getting familiar with this one and enjoy hanging out with my friends for the first time.

Since the first time I saw Fam on Appstore, I knew this one is exactly what I am looking for. It has never let me down and brings me great experience with my friends.

The latest update version makes me enjoy Fam more and minor bugs are well fixed and they also improve performances

Luckily during the time I used Fam to hang out with my friends, there were no bugs or lags at all. Smooth experience!

I thought this one is similar to other face to face social network apps I have tried before but in fact it’s better with more cute stickers and emojis.

Really like all the vivid stickers on Fam, which help me express my feeling better while chatting with friends.

Fam is quite popular among my friends, nearly all of them are using Fam to keep in touch with each other, especially during covid19 times.

Just a few minutes after installing Fam on my Iphone, I can quickly make a video call with my friends and chat with multiple people. So fast and effective!

Using Fam since it was launched, I am totally satisfied with this one and have nothing to complain at all. A must-try for everyone!
