SecureTerminal is not usable with a keyboard. The slide up tool bar will cover the bottom line of text so you can not see what you are typing! Please test your software with a real keyboard.

So tired of apps that don’t disclose the fact that they are not actually free, they only pretend to be free! This one is “free” if all you’ll ever need is a single server in your list of hosts. I want an honest app vendor.

After posting this review the vendor responded saying that he never said SecureTerminal was free. Apparently he’s not bothered to look at the’App Store Preview’

In using SecureTerminal with an external keyboard, I notice that shortcuts like cmd v for paste don't work, also I don't see any option or shortcut to remove the bottom keyboard bar. There is also no clear way to contact the developer.

How to connect to amazon ec2 using SecureTerminal?

App mysteriously stopped working, and the developer has no contact info on his website.

Update: it's working again. Thank you. In the future, is there a way to contact you for support other than here?

I switched from Android to Iphone and I was searching for 2 months now for a good ssh client with file transfer and this is the one.
it works perfectly, no flashy useless frills.
it tranfers and edits files and connects.
And the price is right.

I do everything on my phone and I needed a good program that would allow me to ssh into my server and do some work while remote or away from a computer. This application is top notch and lets me do everything I need to and then some with absolute ease.

10/10 do recommend.

Been playing with this for a bit and it's quickly one of my favorite ssh apps.

I notice when I backspace with an active session it clears the whole line. Meaning I cannot see the current working directory anymore.

Minor issue for a pretty seamless app.

You definitely get your dollars worth with this one.

SecureTerminal works great and the developer is responsive to the in-app feedback when you use it. After an update to SecureTerminal , I noticed some of the external key board shortcut keys were not working. I emailed the developer through SecureTerminal . The developer emailed me later that day to report they were able to duplicate the issue and submitted the fix update to Apple. The next day SecureTerminal updated and the external keyboard shortcuts were fixed. If you have any issues with SecureTerminal , it’s nice to know the developer is responsive and fixes the issue fast when you report it to them.

Simple, clean, and easy to use.

I tried about 3 other iPad ssh apps and couldn’t figure out how the pub key was generated. This one is pretty straight forward and I got the setup done before my sleeping pill kicked in!

I've tried several terminal apps in the AppStore and only this one offers support of the DSA keys and file transfer! However I came across the problem that the file transfer was limited to 1 gb file size. But what an amazing dev! Few emails with them and with the new update I can transfer large files to my server.

A 10/10 from me. Better than terminus by a landslide with the great features and even a built in file manager is just mind blowing for me. I own a server at my home that I need to ssh into constantly to check if it’s up and SecureTerminal is a game changer on SecureTerminal Store I would highly recommend SecureTerminal compared to the competition

I use this all the time to check on servers. Super handy and just like being on a laptop
