They will respond to your questions once a day. All I did here was to wait for response and by waiting and waiting, the jobs that I could have possibly applied to has already been filled. I feel like they don’t care if you will get a job or not because they are not recruiters, they get paid wether you get a job or not. It is so stressful

this app seems like a good resource for travel nurses at first glance but is very inconsistent with its practices. I experienced multiple requests for the same information- which I had provided multiple times -which was very annoying and had the effect of delaying my application for multiple jobs. In addition, I don’t think they update their job listings to be current because they never take filled jobs down, at least nowhere near in a timely fashion. Their reference requirements are either unrealistic or confusing because they asked for 3 references, 2 of which had to be above a charge. However, when I provided 1 charge, 1 manager and 1 house supervisor apparently it wasn’t enough! I would suggest that you not rely on this app as your main resource until they fix some of their inherent issues otherwise you will find yourself yelling at their redundant emails. I’m sure some people have had success through them without so many hurdles but I get the feeling they are the exception to the rule and not the norm.

The company itself has very poor communication skills. Like another reviewer stated, even when you fully qualify for a job you apply to, they will deny your application for “not being qualified” when really it is just the coordinator not understanding medical jobs and terminology. I wouldn’t waste your time with this company just because they have a user friendly app.

This is the worse app. My access was denied not long after setting up & I sent multiple messages to fix the problem with no resolution. They still send me notification of jobs but unable to get on site to look at anything. They do not respond to problems. I have 2 accounts & both did the same thing. Do not use this company & app.

Started using this app and Vivian on same day. Had 3 immediate auto offers thru Vivian. this app had several different agents initially contacting me for info. All uploaded, then…nothing. For six months. Thank goodness for Vivian! Now on my second high rate assignment! Oh, and there was a position listed in my applications for the entire six months that they just closed, stating “someone applied sooner”. Good for them!

I have worked with several travel companies, and this one is by far the worst. They are disorganized and communication is terrible. They offered me a contract for a position that did not exist, then closed over 20 other applications that I had with them because according to them I had accepted the offer for a nonexistent job. They decline and close applications based on stupid and petty requirements even though you are more than qualified to take on the role. You try to reach out to them for assistance, and they never respond in a timely fashion. Even though their rates are better than most other agencies, it is beyond frustrating to deal with them and you will never see that money.

I have been using Nomad to see what is available, it is very easy to narrow down your choices. But I started to apply to a position and was unable to finish the application… I did not know that my application would then be frozen and I would be unable to login and complete then submit it. For nearly a week I have been trying to get a hold of this app to open up the Application so I can finish it ASAP, even though they have listed that they will respond in 1 to 3 days I still have heard nothing… And as time goes on I am losing this opportunity. This is why I am giving a one star rating.

Every application I submit will say action needed after a lengthy amount of time when I’ve already moved on (12. Days.) and when I click on “action needed” there isn’t a way for me to resolve the issue. So then I have to submit a lengthy help request where I have to talk to a person at length to do just the simplest thing. The turnaround time is also very slow. An extra several days because they didn’t realize my BLS is current. Just simple reading comprehension should take care of so many of these issues. It’s terrible every time. Pick any other agency.

As soon as I posted all of my credentialing information from the past four years, the this app app started sending me messages saying that I didn’t have enough experience to apply to them (wth?) when I sent in my application. Or, when I would apply to them, they would ask for more references even though I gave them 9 and close the job or just close job with no notification. I’m worried because they have all of my personal information.

I saw a position at a facility which I had previously contracted; I was immediately offered a contract. I everyday received several onboarding emails from this app requesting the same information. After a week of waiting I requested follow through regarding my drug testing. I was assigned 5 competency exams, I passed all but one which kept delaying and timing out during testing. this app (not the facility) cancelled the contract due to this exam score. UNBELIEVABLE! Save yourself time and aggravation and just contract with another travel company.

I’ve worked across the country as a traveler for many years with many different staffing agencies. I know the business and what to expect. this app Healthcare has an interesting approach to staffing but my experience working with them as a traveler leaves a lot to be desired. Originally, their “hands off” website and way you can apply for jobs seemed neat and efficient. What I came to realize is that travelers need the human to human relationships developed with a real recruiter. It’s that simple. As travelers, we need to chat with a real human who is actively looking for a job that fits our needs. The A.I. approach this app Uses seems empty and hollow. You’ll apply for jobs and suddenly your job will be closed by a this app Navigator without warning. Additionally a lot of information about the job is incorrect. I found myself personally reaching out the HR department of the job I applied for with many times the facility not even needing a traveler! Crazy!

I like the idea of everything this app in one app, but the time keeping section is just a bad UX. Before you could select a few days on a calendar and add all of your shifts at once. Now you have to use the spin wheel to select a date without days of the week to guide you. Then you have to use spin wheels to enter the time for time in, out, and break. This just seems like lazy programming or a bad design choice. I avoid doing my time sheet until the last second every week because it’s a pain to do

The updated version is great with time card submission built right in. But searching open contracts is much worse than it used to be. A sort option was added, but it doesn’t reliably. You can no longer search all compact states, you must chose each state individually if you want to filter results. And even IF you finally get your search results the way you like them; they don’t save. The next time you open Nomad you’re starting your search from square one again. The one thing added to this version of Nomad (time submission) isn’t worth everything that got taken away.

Ive been a traveler for 10 years and find it difficult to use your site. One, my navigator left and I haven’t heard from my new one. Two, I recently tried to apply for a new job and because I m a diploma grad I have to jump through extra hoops to get submitted, then when that’s done I have more to do. By the time I get submitted the job will be taken by someone else. It’s very frustrating!! And now I have no navigator to assist me.

Nice to have an app to quickly and conveniently search for jobs. However, it really needs to send a notification the moment a new job is posted in real-time. As it is now, I’m notified once or twice a day that “You have 15 new job listings up to $2400/week” and every one of the 15 I have already seen (meaning that they aren’t new). A notification for a single job the moment it is posted would be extremely helpful.

I started using Nomad haven’t found my dream job yet but I am actually enjoy looking at the jobs in finding new things that I might be able to do don’t know I just think it’s great and can’t wait until I actually get a proper job and make some money

As a new traveler, this app has been great! They had plenty of opportunities and were quick in getting me my first contract. Their app is great too, definitely a plus.

this app is really user friendly and gave me a great selection of potential RN jobs. I was able to easily refine my search to my area of specialty and areas I’m interested in living. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to avoid the hassle of recruiters and wants transparent access to healthcare job opportunities!

I signed up with this app last December. Nomad is so user friendly. You can only see jobs posted for a stare you are licensed in and Nomad tells you what is required for a certain job. They are very transparent with rates as well. You don’t have a recruiter constantly badgering you with calls and messages. If you want to be in control, this is the agency for you. Hands down this is my favorite. I’ve done two contracts so far. I also had covid and was compensated properly.

Only used a few times, but so far easy to scroll through jobs. I haven’t actually submitted through Nomad yet.
