Tradezero web, free and mobile are starting to regularly not load. It often says "Error 524 standard.tradezeroweb.co Host Error". This can be very frustrating when trying to enter a trade during the day but very worrying when trying to exit a trade after your target has been reached; which happened today. When this happens the online chat on the website conveniently disappears and there is no mention of a phone number to ring Tradezero on.

If you are over PDT RUN!!!!!

This broker seems like an excellent option based off their low locate costs and no commissions but if you are an active trader with over 25k run as fast as you can from this broker. They work well 90% of the time and that sounds pretty good, right? Well the 10% of the time this broker doesn’t work well are the days when the best plays happen. No locates. Wake at open of premarket and request locates for hours only to hear “rejected” thousands of times. Today I woke up at 2am to try to get shares for a recent runner up 1500%. I tried for 3.5 hours before I finally got locates at an absurd cost. Please keep in mind the stock dropped over 25% the entire time I requested locates. This is not the first time this has happened either. Sometimes the platform will crash during regular market hours causing you to be unable to buy, short, or close any positions. I have lost over 5k in on day due to this problem only to hear “we cannot be held liable”. More of the story is please for your own good use a reliable broker like cobra trading or centerpoint securities. I’ve used both brokers and I always get locates and have never had any issues with them even while traveling abroad. The amount of unrealized gains I have lost due to this broker make me want to puke. I could be driving a lambo but thanks to trade zero I do not.

exorbitant fees for short

They are charging a lot higher fees as compared to other brokers and you can’t hold your position overnight because they charge 4x rate eg if you short 100 share of a stock with $15 price they have charge $1 per share hard to borrow fees and if you hold overnight you have to pay $500 aa hard to borrow fees. To break even your stock has to fall $5 in value. So no way to carry your short position and you have to forcefully close your position. You guys are ripping your customers. No other broker charge 4x fees for overnight position.

Very basic

This app is way too basic and have glitches. Many times you can’t actually see the order you placed on desktop which means you can’t cancel or modify the order. The app couldn’t connect to the market correctly sometimes and your profile shows a huge gain or loss. Very unprofessional and misleading.
