this app App makes attending meets as a spectator so easy! I can use my phone to receive push notifications about “My Swimmers” when their events are coming up and live results are immediately available after the race! This feature alleviates the “When is my child swimming?” question. this app is also helpful when I can’t attend a meet for some reason, or if a distant family member wants to be informed of meet results.

SwimminglyFan creates a sense of community and allows families and friends to be engaged in the sport even remotely. I highly recommend SwimminglyFan. There was a two week trial period at the start of the season (thank you!) and all the available features are easily at your fingertips with an in-app purchase. Thank you this app for thinking about families and making summer swimming so much more enjoyable for all!

Used SwimminglyFan by a different name last year and loved it. SwimminglyFan changed and it does not have the same features. The free part is great. Could follow the meet and see scores and places etc. What is missing is being able to track my swimmer from meet to meet and easily compare times week to week. Please bring back that functionality! Also I had to hand out heat ribbons and it combined the heat together too quickly so I know longer knew which place a swimmer got in his/her heat- only in the combined race. Worth it for the free portion, but little extra benefit for the pay portion.
For those saying SwimminglyFan is behind in scores it is likely that your scorekeeper is just slowly in verifying the times. Our results came back very quickly.

First time Swimmingly users in Sacramento and cannot say enough about Swimmingly and this app. For the first time as a parent, I felt like I was a part of the swim meet experience. Actually seeing live results and getting push notifications is incredible. No longer having to wait on someone to send out results 😁. Highly recommend to any recreational swim team!

I use this application to help the flow and running of the swim teams/meets that I manage. Overall I would say that it helps ease the burden of several tasks for my staff and I. Great work Swimmingly team! Can’t wait to see what the future holds.

I can’t make every swim meet in time so I’m really excited to track along with my swimmer and live results. Can’t wait for improvements over the next couple years.

With many hopeful fans awaiting and many paying $16+ to see close to real time results, SwimminglyFan seems to always be many heats behind. Not worth the extra money but certain good for the free stuff. My friend bought it 4 times and another friend bought it 2 times before SwimminglyFan recognized them. Sounds like it has many kinks to work through.
Make sure you have back up timers.

What a great app for the whole family. Parents, grandparents, etc. can easily follow their swimmers events and progress throughout the season. Our family loves SwimminglyFan!

I never considered this was even a possibility! I saw the immediate results for each event from a summer league meet in Sacramento from the East Coast! Every summer league needs Swimmingly and SwiminglyFan!

FINALLY! Now I actually know how my kid is doing during the meet and don’t have to wait days until the results are revised and sent out :)

I paid for my year of meet info, have my receipt from Apple, but can’t see any information from my team beyond the basic meet info. It keeps asking me to subscribe. I just want to get my kid ready to swim.

Also, forcing parents to pay for an app to partner with the meet software is lame.

Can’t go wrong here. There’s no better way to track your swimmers progress through a meet.

SwimminglyFan itself is pretty good. However, I felt like it was a bait and switch. For the first few weeks of the swim season you could use SwimminglyFan for free. After you got used to having SwimminglyFan they switched to a pay model where you must pay for all the features you had previously been using. Not cool.

Worked fine for first two meets. Now when click on teams third meet SwimminglyFan just closes and goes the the phone Home Screen. If I click on either of first two meets, I can see results, but the third meet just crashes SwimminglyFan .

This is a great way to follow along with a swim meet and see live results. Very easy to use.

It is a good concept—a live heat sheet.

Upside: many times it works, and provide an experience that is better in many ways than a heat sheet

Downside: Currently it seems like a hobbyist implementation: regular crashes and syncing problems, high battery usage, layout problems, and functionality gaps

IMHO they jumped the gun on monetization. I feel like early payers like me were taken advantage of. Fine for a free app but paying was a mistake since they are realistically in a beta testing phase.

Used SwimminglyFan for the 1st time this season and it exceeded my expectations. It makes Summer League swimming easy and enjoyable!

Compared to other swimming apps such as OnDeck and MeetMobile, SwimminglyFan simply does not compare. The screens are small and static (no zoom), no history or comparison to previous times, navigation is clunky, and the monthly fee is excessive compared to better apps.

Very user friendly! Fabulous customer service! Love it!

I can only see my teams swimmers, not the overall heat swimmers. The score isn’t even correct
