It won’t access the camera on an iPod 7 for the AR function. It has permission to access the camera.

I bought the premium features it locks up- has pop up screens of doom - doesn’t give me any premium features

SunTrackerAR couldn't even use AR to find where the sun is now. That's all I wanted it to do.

I am using SunTrackerAR to plot out our raised garden beds for maximum sun exposure. It’s pretty slick. The only issue is that the AR frequently freezes when changing dates requiring me to force quit and restart SunTrackerAR . Fix that and it’s a five star app!

Only in 3rd time I’ve opened SunTrackerAR it asked me for location service access

Provides copious information regarding solar angles throughout the year as well as the day.

All should own and donate because this is essential to all for so many reasons. Thank you devs

Never actually wanted to write a review about anything till now. Really solid app. Free version is full of information, can’t imagine how slick the paid version is.

I just purchased this today so that I could enter different dates throughout the growing season to determine the amount of sun each area of my garden gets. I can’t select a date from the monthly calendar (nothing happens when I try) but I can select any date by using the arrows to advance day by day. It takes a little longer but it is a simple work around. Very useful app.

SunTrackerAR is very handy in determining the best location to install solar panels. I’m very happy with SunTrackerAR .

Great for photographers and prospective home buyers. Helps to learn how beneficial that tree is above your home.

Will use this to show my gf the sunrise and sunset locations for our future home. Compass works too but this is such a cool presentation method!

Building a new house and wanted to know where the sun would be at different times of the year and if particular trees would impact production. SunTrackerAR answered all those question in like 3 minutes. Intuitive, cheap and accurate.

I use SunTrackerAR daily as a photographer. I work in the real estate sector. It works extremely well for plugging in an address then seeing the exact time you need to be for a specific position.

Easy to use, cheap, useful tool, that will allow you to see the location of the Sun at any time at any point on Earth.

Shows the position of the sun at any time throughout the day. A really great app. Very well-designed and written. I actually was only looking for something to show the angle of the sun above the horizon, because I like to wait until it’s only 30° or lower in the summer, to avoid sunburn. SunTrackerAR does that and a lot more.

Even just the free version of SunTrackerAR is great. Well designed and no unnecessary cruft. Thanks to the developer!

We bought a new house in the desert. Selecting the correct solar shades is largely about understanding sun position during the summer.
SunTrackerAR was PERFECT. Just select the day of the year and then point the camera out the window. SunTrackerAR superimposes the sun track and notes the position at different times of the day.
Every window-covering designer / sales person should have this.
