So again, more updates, and no direct, addressing of the fact that the push notifications don’t work. I purchased these openers for the specific reason that I could get a text telling me I left the door open. Many have complained about this yet you completely seem to ignore the request to get this fixed it randomly just stopped working all of a sudden. Why do you even have this as a feature I can pretend to turn on, if you have no intention of ever making it work?

So after several months of multiple complaints by hundreds of people, they still can’t get push notifications to work? Who are the people who are doing this programming. As I said in my first review this is programming 101 it seems I’ve completely deleted devices, reinstall them disconnect and reconnect to Wi-Fi etc. etc. and nothing works. Come on guys the whole point of this is to know if someone’s entering my home when I’m not there. When I’m home I know someone opens the door. Absolutely pathetic. Seems this is programming and debugging 101. Really? If you can’t get this corrected how can I trust you have any security issues correct

Go to try to open up my garage door with CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess and lo and behold they change the whole app without any forewarning. finally log in to download the new app to tell me my passwords wrong it’s not wrong I wrote it down. On CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess I said forgot password and have not got my password not in my junk box or my trashcan CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess has to be the lamest app whenever you need it to work it does not.

Now I went through the set up Process picked a new email new password and it still says my password is wrong -0 stars
Now the thing wants me to use Bluetooth on my secure device I do not have Bluetooth I’m using the device is Wi-Fi not Bluetooth it will not let me go any further to reset up the system, whoever bought craftsman ruin the company

CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess was working until I noticed that I wasn’t receiving notifications. I tried to log into CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess , but was not able to. I tried to reset my password, but every time I try to reset the password CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess tells me a email was sent to reset, but there is no email. I checked my spam folder and there is no email.

I even tried to create a new account but CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess tells me that the WiFi device (Assurelink device) is registered with another account.

So as of now I am not able to see use CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess and control my doors!!!!. Not happy.

Contacted them directly, about the update not sending notifications, got the run around 4 times. Won’t admit there is an issue, treated me like I was stupid and it was my fault. Basically told me they don’t care.

Edited: looking in CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess Store I noticed there is a newer app, MyQ, that is the same group that runs CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess. Downloaded it and signed in, looks the same as the craftsman app. The MyQ works. Apparently, instead of updating CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess they just built a new one and didn’t tell anyone, including their support staff, that the new app existed.

We’ve been using CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess for years with no issue. One day I open CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess to see that they’ve taken the original Home Screen view away (the one that they promote when you look at CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess on CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess Store). It has instead been replaced by a list view which makes the “button” smaller and makes so I have to see everything we have connected instead of just my side of the garage door. Customer Service says more people prefer this and that on time we will come to appreciate it too. Very disappointed and wish they would’ve just left the toggle switch in the upper right hand corner like it had always been instead of taking away a choice.

Like many other reviews, push notifications have stopped for CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess. Settings are correct, but it will not give me any push notifications that my door has been left open. I can open CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess and see the status of my door, but without the alerts I don’t know to do it. Zero response from developer so far. This is important to many of us and the primary reason I purchased this particular garage door opener so won’t leave my door open accidentally and become a victim of theft.

I use to be totally in love with CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess. Having notifications whenever a door is opened or closed was a fantastic option. I still use the ability to open or close my doors with my phone, but I cannot rate it higher than a 3 since the most valuable part of CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess is no longer working. Get the notifications working again, and I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.

Push notifications for my iPhone iOS 16 & iPadOS 16 stopped working… I’m an IT professional and very proficient with iOS system architecture. I’ve even uninstalled & restarted both iPhone & iPad along with toggling notifications OFF/ON on both iOS & iPadOS in addition to the push notifications embedded within your App and still doesn’t work. Please debug & recompile your App to properly access the notifications API within iOS & iPadOS 16 which should hopefully restore notifications.

I like being able to set alerts for the garage door because on occasion my door will close on its own. That being said, I wish CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess would allow a partial open. I have a doggy door and I must have the door partially open for the fur babies access to the outdoors. Seems being able to manually control that from the door control would allow me to control that from CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess . The only choice you have on CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess is full open or full close. If partial open we’re a choice, this would rate 5 stars.

Like said by other push notifications doesn’t work. I never get notified of when the door opens or closes. The other really disappointing short coming is the name a remote feature. You go through all the steps and enter the name you’ve chosen for the remote and can’t save it because they left out a way to clear or minimize the keyboard to be able to hit the save button. Please fix this it really helps track with multiple users who opened or closed the door last when you bring up history when you have multiple remotes for one door. Other then those two items love the opener and CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess .

I have an iPhone and my push notifications randomly stopped working. I have tried just about everything. I have tried using on Wi-Fi only, turning off my Wi-Fi, deleted and redownloaded CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess , checked my notification settings. Nothing seems to work. Other than this, CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess is great. Will there be an update to fix the notifications?

I’m glad I upgraded to this opener and app. I like being able to check the status throughout the day and open remotely for deliveries or family members.

One advertised feature is push motivations when the door is open too long. Would be great if it worked. I can get it to send me an email but not a text. I’ve gone through the multiple suggested fixes - several times - but it’s a no go (and seems to be for many others too from online searches).

Your new update removed the info on the main button page that shows if the garage is open or closed. Now I don’t even know if it’s open!!! Please fix immediately as the only reason for CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess is to be away and know that the garage is actually closed and now I can’t even see that let alone get any push notifications as that doesn’t work either!

CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess is extremely functional and it alerts all users of any openings/closings! You won’t regret this investment, and the install was a breeze!

How many times have I turned around because I wasn’t sure I closed the garage? (To many to count.)This has saved me so many times. I have had it for so many years now and I love it. Convenient to help from miles away from home also. I can open and close my garage from my phone from almost anywhere.

Then l closed it and then we wore at the restaurant eating food
With my family and I saw my phone and the garage door was open
So I pressed close garage door on my phone and then It said closed then I looked In the garage security camera and It was closed then on the garage flore and there was rain water great
App craftsman works well for me!

We bought this wifi garage door opener to keep at our second house. It was easy to install. Especially for a person like myself with two left hands. I installed myself. It works perfectly allowing folks in the house remotely. I can also tell if the door is up or down and for how long.

I had some problems like everyone else but I contacted tech support and they explained what the issue was , the opener needed to have a hard reset to clear the settings for the my Q app to connect. They explained the steps and within a few minutes it was working .

Installed this for my Mom and Stepdad, no hiccups, let’s you know how long the door has been opened and closed for also besides being able to control them. Very cool, recently installed the chamberlain brand app for my in-law's 2 car garage too, pretty much exactly the same except for a different brand opener.

Worked flawlessly until last update, now push notifications do not work. This was the main reason I bought this opener. Pleas fix the most important feature of CRAFTSMANmyQGarageAccess !!!!!

***Update - Bug fixed and I’m once again getting push notifications. Back to 5 star review!
