Didn’t even have to try it to know it was fake, but did just incase. First of all, how are you gonna track my heart rate with my face??? Second, all the reviews are fake, short titles, short reviews, one of them was titled “noe” no joke. My rate was 70 before i worked out, and was 69 (nice) after i did. Sadly, this is gonna be buried under all the fake replies.
Ok I thought I’d try HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor and see if it really is that good
🙄 NO !!
My BP varied according to distant I held the camera
From as low as 49 holding the camera at arms length to 90 at 4” away
Other readings varied from 69 to 84
So it’s not as good as some have said
Arms length it had trouble completing the measurement
It even a couple of times started completely over
The pop up about looking at the screen was popping up as well
The reading I got was too vague to true it to be accurate
One review said it was better then the watch but I did a read on my Gen 3 watch and 2 other bp apps and the 3 of them were more close in reads
So HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor could use some tweaking on the reading part
Going to watch and see if it gets tweaked or not before I make a final decision whether to keep or delete
I was hoping HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor would be useful for my workouts, being the rare pulse app that will sync to Apple Health without needing to pay a subscription. Unfortunately, its readings are frequently inaccurate and extremely inconsistent. It routinely gives a reading that is clearly about half the actual pulse rate, and varies wildly in successive readings. I generally make sure of two or more consistent readings in a row before saving it to Health.
It also is extremely sensitive to conditions interfering with readings. Even when I brace both the phone and myself against something solid and unmoving, it still often takes twenty seconds or more to return a reading.
It’s not entirely useless, so I’m not giving it only one star. It is free, and it does work when it works. But it needs a lot of improvement.
Most times it is accurate but it comes inaccurate very few times. I highly recommend it because it is easy and is Not a scam completely free. It takes a while to detect your bpm and sometimes is not accurate. Other than that it is perfect.
I was amazed at how fast I got a heart rate reading! it matched my Fitbit rating almost exactly. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a quick way to get a reading
HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor seems to be very accurate when compared to my Fitbit watch. I use it to sync heart rate to my iPhone fitness.
I had a pulse reader on my finger at the same time, numerous times and the numbers were right on. And it’s free!!!
I am a fitness professional and I always look for ways of measuring my exercise. This is a super easy and accurate way to measure my heart rate. Very glad to have found HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor!
I’m a hypochondriac and I worry about my health. Especially my heart. So if I am worried about having a heart attack, I always use HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor. Thanks!!!!!
I had near panic attack heart rate at 125 and I’ve been checking it frequently and it is frequently very accurate. So hugely helped me out.
HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor is simply amazing. It is easy to use. Just look at the phone, hold steady for less than a minute and you get an accurate count of your heart rate. You can save it to Apple Health.
It’s so easy to check the accuracy and HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor is incredibly accurate. I love it and use it often.
So a review was long overdue as I’ve been using HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor for like a little over a year I think now and I can say confidently at this point that it’s amazing and nearly spot on pretty much every time, honestly even in the dark the light on my phone can hit it correctly or accurately enough it can still get a pretty good reading only being a few beats or so off.
Great app. Just look at your phone, and after a moment the red heart on the screen starts pulsing in time with your own heart—you can both see and feel it—and the screen displays your heart rate as a number in white.
I love it—simple, fast, accurate, and elegant!
As you can see from the title of my review, my mom was shocked! HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor help a lot, cause I am active a lot. I need to know my heart rate sometimes for curiosity.
My moms heart rate was surpriseingly mine exact rate witch is funny.
When I saw the good reviews and stars on HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor I downloaded it. Turns out it was worth it!
HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor is a total game changer. It’s just as accurate as my fitness band, and so much easier and faster to use. Truly next level technology. I honestly wish that I knew the developers who made HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor so that I could thank them firsthand for building this technology that has had such an impact on my life
I was skeptical at first thinking there would be no way that this could work. But I had my Apple Watch on and I tried it over and over again and they were always within 1 or 2 BPM of each other so now I’m a true believer! Really cool that it can detect it just from looking at your face.
I was so impressed by HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor which can quickly and precisely detect you heart rate just from looking at your phone for a few seconds. HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor exactly matches my whoop band, which requires me to have a scanner attached to my arm. This will be great to quickly check my heart rate during and after working out, and I’m excited to recommend this to my family and friends. Thank you!!!
HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor can be faster and more accurate than Apple Watch. You look straight at your iPhone, hold still, and HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor quickly measures your pulse from micro-color changes in your face.
It beats other apps that attempt to do this and doesn’t require putting a finger on the camera lens. For best results, use it where the light is steady (e.g., not on the disco floor).
I use HandsFreeHeartRateMonitor when getting some exercise (indoor or out). It adds motivation and fun. Other uses: quick snapshot of your heart rate after sleeping, when stressed or ill, or when fully relaxing (how low can you get your heart rate to go).
It can be fun to try with others. Instructive for kids. Encourages heart health.
