How to fix Lantern app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Lantern app on iPhone
Update Lantern app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Lantern iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Lantern on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Lantern network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Lantern Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Lantern not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Lantern App
1. On android, goto Settings » Lantern » click [Force Stop]

Update Lantern to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Lantern App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Lantern » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Lantern.

Fix Lantern unable to contact server/ Lantern internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Lantern » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Lantern » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Lantern
