Skratch - Where I've been Reviews

I’ve throughly enjoyed my use of Skratch so far however I believe there is some error with whether smaller countries are counted as countries or territories. When I share the link to my map, countries such as Vatican City, Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao are marked as territories instead of countries.

Additionally I think it would be neat if there was a way to follow other people and have collaborative travel “want” lists between two or more people. Maybe there could even be a way to make some pictures public for others to see as well. I love how you can share the links with other people and I think it would be even cooler to be able to follow and track other people’s travel adventures through Skratch .

Overall, Skratch is one of the best I’ve seen so far and I look forward to using it more in the future! Thanks!

Skratch has a really clean and colorful design and everything about the interface is so aesthetically pleasing and intuitive. I love being able to see the statistics of how many countries I’ve been to on each continent and the breakdown of the countries I’ve visited and their flags. Adding the “memories” of the photos and videos is a really fun feature as well. Now I feel motivated to keep adding countries to my future travel wish list!!

I really enjoying using this app, but there I two things I would like to see changed. After purchasing the power up, you can no longer put where you live on a regional level. Another thing I would like to see changed is how many pictures you can add to a location. I take a lot of pictures on vacation and it is really tedious to have to add pictures one by one.

My phone had updated and it removed my US states map feature, and I was really upset at first, for I had really liked Skratch prior. However, I left my review and customer service emailed me really promptly. They helped me out a lot and restored that feature for free, and were very kind and speedy to appease to my concern. My love for Skratch was restored and it’s better than ever now.

Hi! I think that it is really well designed... but I’m kinda mad that you guys just put the states or regions in the U.S. only. I am from Venezuela, and I had the pleasure to meet a lot of the states of my country, but I haven’t visited the eastern side of it, so for me, checking this country right away before knowing all of its beautiful landscapes seems kinda wrong (even though is my actual country, and the same happens with other countries. That would be my only concern, but without including that, it is a great app, keep on going guys.

Although Skratch is up for a good cause, the occupied regions of Georgia, Abkhazia and Samachablo (aka South Ossetia) are not independent countries. Those territories are occupied by Russia and made self-independent and is only acknowledged by 8 countries.
We would be glad if Skratch could fix this problem and correct the map on Europe.

I live in Jerusalem - the west side of the city which has always been the capital of Israel since is independence in 1948, in contrast to the eastern side of the city which was occupied by Jordan from 1948-‘67. Your app identifies all of Jerusalem as Palestine which is just incorrect. Perhaps you want to stay apolitical, if that is the case just label Jerusalem as Jerusalem without connecting it to any country. If not, you should know you are making a political statement that will allie Nate many potential users and misinform those who don’t know.

This is a MUST HAVE app if you’re a frequent traveler or digital nomad! You can easily see what countries are open for travel as well as track and view where you’ve been and lived.

Skratch gives a nice and interactive way of storing good memories from good places you've been! Especially in current times it's nice to see all the places you've been and relive the good memories.

I recently downloaded this app and started adding the countries I’ve visited and lived in. It’s really great! Nice and simple which is exactly what I was looking for. User friendly too!
My favorite thing is precisely that it’s simple and not full of functions. Straight to the point.

Looking forward to trying the memories function with pictures.

I am a pilot and ofc travel a lot, I really like the reminder function telling you’ve visited a new country so you can add it.

Skratch is really helpful in organizing all the places you have been and want to go! I’ve been using it to plan trips for a few months now and love it. Definitely perfect for people who love to travel :)

Hello. I downloaded that app as it looked so amazing as far as I do love traveling and often do. It turned out that Georgian regions, which are occupied by Russia - Abkhazia and “South Ossetia” are marked as countries. Please open any non-Russian source and be sure that you fabricate the world map. Please respect to the international order.

These regions are not recognized under the international law, as they are inherent part of Georgia that has been proved by the many UN resolutions.

As you have an intent, your app be used over the world, please respect rules which are vital for world order.

If the map is crucial for Skratch , I cannot use or even assess app which is based on the false map.

I hope the issue will be fixed

I like how you can select the places you have been and it shades that place in. However I wish there was the option to select specific provinces like you do the states. Therefor, you can further customize your map.

Super intuitive and user-friendly. Such a great idea to have a portable this app map of the world, especially if you like to travel. If I had to change something I would just add more features and perhaps make it more social, but other than that it’s great! Good job!

I have been wanting to create Skratch for a long time. Kinda sad it already exists now, but very happy to be able to use it.

The design and layout of Skratch is amazing. A joy to use. Great customer service as well. Very fun to use and I would highly recommend!

I just downloaded Skratch and paid for all access … honestly just a waste of money. They have VERY limited cities you can pin. You can see them on the map but if it’s not on the apps “list of cities” there is no way to pin. Shouldn’t there be a way to add a city ?? Or if it’s on the actual map… it should be available to pin.

Really makes you want to travel more. I wish they had kept the feature where you could mark which states you have lived in.

Downloaded this to keep track of where I’ve been and where I’m going before I’m shipped to Alaska for COVID relief. Yeah, can’t add ANY individual states unless you pony up $$$!?!? Forget it! There’s lots of other fee apps out there (Been, States, etc.) that’ll let you do that for FREE and without having to “sign up” with email or phone number. Screw this.

Skratch is super fun and I can see all the places that I’ve been and want to go to. The developers are super fast to respond and very nice! Highly recommend!!! 😃✈️

I would love to be able to really scratch the places I have visited and not the entire country, that way you can still add the cities that you want to visit! A little more detail would be great!

I was disappointed that after installing Skratch I found I had to first create an account and disclose my mobile number. I am flooded with spam callers and email, not saying these guys would sell my info, but I prefer to limit giving out my number.

I love it a lot! But I wish you could add multiple memories at a time and I wish it would quit leaving Skratch every time I try to add a memory.

I give it a 3 star due to the fact when i click on Kosovo and want to color it pink it won’t get colored.
I’m from Kosovo and I hope you fix it.
Otherwise a 4.5-5.0

Would be nice to have pictures attached to locations. Otherwise app is decent.

One of the best map marking apps I’ve used but you can only upload videos no photos :(!!
