The game is fun and challenging, I can play for hours but I can’t. The reason I gave it 1 stars is because it crashes on a regular basis. This is very frustrating, especially when it forces you to start over on a challenge you completed. I have moved the game to an iPad with enormous amount of space and still have the same problem. Also, when I moved the game to a different device, I had to start over from the beginning, which was frustrating. It doesn’t let you carry your progress which I lost everything, including what I purchased! Not very happy!

Update as of 7/4/20 - Uploaded the new update, now the games crashes EVERYTIME, I try to enter. I am over it! Do not waste your time!

After a certain level (I believe after level 99)with this game I have found in order to win you must pay. They have competition design where you can win prizes. This latest I have been playing; collect red mitts while trying to complete the level. However, NO red mitts can be found until you finish the level. Then you might win some with any unexplored bombs ... IF some drop down. Floating lamps. The objective of the level is to get for example 25 floating lamps. You have 25 chances. It can be done if a floating lamp is knocked out each time you try except 25 lamps are NOT always released in the course of your 25 chances. If you are willing to spend jewels for the extra 5 chances you may be able to win that level. But many times because floating lamps are not released consecutively you may need more than 5 extra chances. So if you DON’T MIND throwing away money on games which appear are SET UP for player TO LOSE unless they PAY FOR EXTRA CHANCES to win the level. Than this game is for you. Those are just two examples.

I enjoyed the game but after every level passed it kicks me out of the game and a few other times also, it is annoying to have this happen after finishing a level evvvvvery time and wondering how long I’ll be able to handle it before I delete the game otherwise very nice game please fix thank you so much developers.

Ummmm Ok guys now it’s even worse, it won’t let me play at all now it just loads (sometimes lol) then hit play and it immediately crashes or kicked out of game before I can even hit the level button to play, no offense but dang this is ridiculous, I’d say u might want to fix this asap or ur not gonna have any players left.
It really is a shame because it is beautiful furniture and decorations and really miss playing the game even though I was kicked out after finishing a level every time. Was hoping that this latest update with fix that issue but now you cannot even play if you’re willing to be kicked out after every level. If not fixed soon I guess I’ll just have to delete it what good is a game you cannot play LOL

246... that’s as far as this game will allow me to get to. I have been stuck on this level for the third day now and it is pretty much impossible to surpass unless you are incredibly lucky and the rocket missiles actually hit the aquarium to release the number of fish needed to pass. Mind you, the rocket missiles hit randomly and hardly ever AT the aquarium and if you think if it lands right UNDER the aquarium that it will count, well, it DOESN’T.

At this point, I’m just wasting my time for nothing. Life is unrewarding enough as it is sometimes... that’s why we choose to play these games, right? Just to have a little enjoyment... a little win here and there. I don’t expect it to be easy but I don’t want it to be impossible either. *Sigh* Off to find something else.

I absolutely love this game but I can’t tell you how many times it has conveniently “glitched” and cheated me out of money. I have actually spent money to buy diamonds and here’s what happens. Sometimes it doesn’t add the diamonds I already have to the ones I just bought. Sometimes I win a round (after spending diamonds on extra moves) and it glitches out and doesn’t move off the game play screen. When I restart InteriorStory , I’m back in the same round. My favorite thing that just happened that caused this review is this:
I spent 210 diamonds on two rounds of extra moves. I needed one key on a hard level. I FINALLY only needed one move to win the game. When I made that move, the game randomly (and unwarranted) spawned a color ball right below the key. Because the key was in a singular column, there was absolutely no way to get rid of the ball! I tried to blow it up to no avail. I had 2 other spawned balls that I swapped with each other to clear the entire board and nothing. Talk about frustrating! Annoying. I may delete InteriorStory at this point.

You spend most of the time in game playing a Bejewled-like swap-and-match mini game and almost no time designing interiors. Except this is Bejewled with a time gate and level design working against you to incentivize you into buying boosts rather than providing interesting gameplay. When you DO get to designing, it’s brief, railroaded, and overburdened with insignificant dialogue that has no real place in the game except to provide life to the pretty characters when you would rather get back to what little designing you can do. On the plus side, there’s basically no ads, the characters are cute, and the designs are nice, BUT there’s no thought to actual designing when your fictional clients will say they love every option, and you can’t change your mind once you set something down, even if you want to try another style. Tl;dr It has potential, but it suffers from micro transaction syndrome and you’re going to be spending very little time designing interiors.

It’s a fun game but here are a few things that are highly irritating. I have spent days trying to pass a single level and every time I finally complete the goals it glitches out and when I restart InteriorStory it says I have not passed that level. It’s also extremely irritating that the only way to accumulate more lives besides waiting 20-30 minutes is to purchase them. Other games give challenges to gain more diamonds, cash or lives. I find I’m forgetting about this game since I rarely get to play due to waiting hours for enough lives to play for a few minutes and then have to purchase more or quit. I personally won’t pay anymore money than I already have to play a game that somehow manages to glitch constantly yet is able to take your money perfectly without any complication.

I’ve been playing for a few months. The game itself is fun and I enjoy the challenges. I’ve won second and first place in a few challenges! And MOST of the levels are easier to get through than some other similar games (even tho they are not without challenging levels).
The reason I refuse to give more than 3 stars is because multiple times the game has totally screwed me over. I just paid 190 diamonds to get a barrel bomb and color ball and it didn’t even show up in the level. I watch patterns drop where I should be getting TNT or bombs from it and get NOTHING. The game glitches in the middle of a level so I have to shut it down and lose a life that I shouldn’t have. Sometimes I lose a life and the level doesn’t even open at all.
The glitches and, dare I say *cheating* the game does throughout playing is infuriating. I only gave three instead of two stars because the rooms are fun to design and it is easier game play than something like Matchington Mansion that became more painful than playful... but this is teetering on the edge and if things aren’t fixed I’ll be deleting it soon.

I love this game! My issue is that the further you go in the game, the more and more money you need to complete a task. These games are hard which is fine, but you still make the same amount of money as in the beginning but the prices of interior furnishings has increased by four times! You have to complete three games just to do one thing. It doesn’t make any sense and it takes the fun out of the game. If all I wanted to do was the match game, I’d play candy crush. The best part and why people are choosing to play this game is for the interior decorating part. This is making that so difficult to do that it’s making me wanna look elsewhere. If they would make it equal parts, game and rewards then I would give it five stars.

This is a pretty fun game to play, if you can look past all the small issues. I’ll briefly mention in passing the glitches, they don’t necessarily affect the game play, but it can be confusing to see on screen. One instance is when you get a ‘power up’ but that square on the screen is blank, so you don’t actually know what’s there. Another one is when using a power up, there’ll be the ‘lightning streak’ stuck on screen, even if you get rid of the gem part that’s touching it. Now my biggest issue: I was on a level that required getting 30 lanterns, I had been playing and got 29, so I decided to get a few more moves which is fine, BUT THE LANTERNS NEVER CAME BACK ON SCREEN! How exactly am I supposed to beat the level if the things I need to beat the level with don’t appear?! I even went and spent more money to get more lives hoping that I would be able to beat that level, but the lanterns never appeared back on the board, so after that I deleted the game. I enjoyed it pretty much up until that point, so play at your own risk I suppose.

I wish I could preview the options and be able to change my choice — I would like to see my choices before I commit to one, e.g., see curtain choices but switch to a chair to see what other options are available. Also i wish there were more basic choices and more options for pillows, throws etc. Otherwise I do like this game and ditto the other reviewers who said it’s nice to win enough coins to pick something. Some other games are ridiculous 🥴and you have to play three or 4 games to get a star or coins. Those games are too frustrating but this one moves faster and I like that. The more options the better!🤗Maybe you could add a shopping cart for accessories. Thank you so much ☺️

I play these games every morning and every night. I’ve been playing them for years and I’m a very good strategic player. I find it very difficult to pass many of the levels in this game. There are no free lives or vacuums to help you pass levels. This is especially frustrating when you’re trying to complete a challenge. For example I could be stuck on a level for a week and miss being able to participate in a talent all together. I may actually have to stop playing this game although I really enjoy the designs. Find the piggy bank won’t even allow you to purchased one design element. Not worth the money! So sorry to give this review. :(

This game is actually really fun... except that I have gotten most of the way through several levels and the d@€n thing freezes. It locks up so that no moves can be made! All I can do once it does this is quit the game and give up a life. This is especially irritating when I have tried several times and am almost through the level. If the developers can’t fix this issue, I see little point in playing any longer. That and I am now ahead of all of the rooms that they had designed. Now I have to wait and wait for the next room to open. Fix the game please! Three stars is my starting point on the game. The next move is for the game developers.

I would happily give this game 5 stars BUT InteriorStory crashes every single time I win a level—luckily I still get to keep my coins.. but it’s annoying to have to sit and wait for the game to load again every time I win.

And lately, the game has been crashing every time I touch the icon to play a level (not just after I win, but when I open InteriorStory . I don’t even get the opportunity to play). I want to partake in challenges but I can’t play any levels due to the constant crashing. Please fix this! I really love this game!

This game is fun and can be challenging at times but there’s many challenges going that allow you to win boosts to pass the level. My only complaint is the ads I know it’s a free game and I’m thankful for that but the ads are getting out of hand. I don’t if it’s the same for everybody else but for me every time I lose or win a level it takes me to an ad instantly and you have to watch it in order to get your coins, you also have to watch an ad if you want to change your design. In order to improve this game InteriorStory developer should put ads every three or four levels and not on every single level you play and they should allow the option to preview the designs you want to buy like many other interior design games with puzzle allows you to. But overall this is a good app just the ads are getting out of hand and the option to not preview your choices is annoying.

I’ve been playing for well over a year, probably closer to two. While bug fixes have gotten a lot better, with the last update the way coins are given when you beat a level changed making it nearly impossible to “purchase” the design items you need to open the next room. You also can’t see how many “screws” you’re collecting when you are playing special levels. These two things have drastically changed how much I play which means I’m also not spending money on the extras for the game either.

Overall, this a great game and I do enjoy playing it. However, I do have a few concerns that may keep me from playing. There are quite a few glitches in the game.

1) It often freezes and I have to close InteriorStory and reopen it.
2) There have been quite a few times that, when exploding bombs, I get 2 pieces that overlap each other and stay that way until the round is done.
3) When activating the special color ball, I will get a constant “lightning bolt” from the place where I activated the ball to one of the random color pieces that I activated as the color to get rid of. That tends to be quite distracting.
4) Sometimes, there will be 2 or more of these things that happen in the same round and then I end up having to close InteriorStory and lose a life.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled InteriorStory several times and update every time on is available. I really hope some of these bugs can be worked out since I really do enjoy the game!

I have quite a few of these types of games I play, this one I recently downloaded. The gameplay is fun, one of the better that I've played. A couple of things I'll nitpick are that the power ups are lack luster and not as varied as some of my favorite games in this genre. Also, not a huge fan of the fact that I have to watch a video EVERY time I change an item option. I can understand watching one to select an item for the first time but sometimes I like to go back and forth between options and I don't like having to watch a video each time.

Overall, it's lots of fun. The difficulty increases at a reasonable rate and the style options are nice.

I’ve been playing this game for a while. Definitely love the simplicity of the game and the designs. I enjoy the weekly design events as well. I also enjoy that the cost of items are realistic. It’s overall an enjoyable game.

I have noticed a few things that would really improve the game:

1. I would like to be able to preview the designs before making my selection. Once you slide the coins to choose your designs, you cannot exit out and view another design to see the aesthetics. It’s not a major issue, but more so an annoyance.

2. My main issue with the game is sometimes the game field freezes. I’ve noticed that on levels that I have a hard time on, I can play it over and over again. When I’m about to complete it (finally), the game field will freeze. Sometimes the power-ups will overlap each other on the game field and the whole things stops. Essentially causing me to have to restart the whole app, attempt the level a few more times. I feel this might be a bug? I’m not sure.

Edit: After recently updating my iPad’s operating system, the glitches have stopped. Hopefully it stays this way. It’s a very enjoyable game!

This is my very favorite game. It’s fun to play and the decorating options are better than any other game I’ve tried. Why only 2 stars? It has the most frequent and worst glitches of any game I’ve played. I try to buy crystals, it charges me but doesn’t give them to me. This has happened repeatedly. Sometimes the boosters don’t help at all. It just randomly kicks me out, either before I even start or in the middle of a game. I’ve been playing this over a year, I wish the developers would get their act together.
