We rented a property in telluride that was over $1000 a night. The reason we chose it is because it had a spa and sauna. Both of these had major issues.
The spa was green and reeked of fish. They finally got it cleaned for the final night. It was not completely clean but we used it anyways.
The spas RETURN VALVE did not have a grate over it. It sucked my foot into the pipe and caused a great deal of pain and bruising. It was not easy to remove my foot off the pipe.
THIS COULD HAVE DROWNED AND KILLED ANY CHILD UNDER AGE 10.
The property was dirty. The sauna had spider webs and did not get hot.
This company does not care about their owners or their renters. They are a billion dollar corporation located in Los Angeles.
They offered us a small refund. Not even enough to cover dinner for three in telluride.
DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.
THEY ARE THIEVES.
We rent a luxury home through AvantStay. When we arrived to check in, the owners of the home were at the house and said it was not for rent. Avant apologized and put us in a temporary home. They then required us to move to another home. After two days in that home they told us they did not have authority to rent us that home and required us to vacate same day. They put us in a fourth home that was awful.
They rented us three houses in ten days that they did not have the authority to rent to us and that they required us to move. We did nothing wrong, we honored our contract with Avant, we have been more than flexible with all of their mistakes and their breach of contract, and they have not honored their contract with us and they have not supported us as a client.
This is a huge inconvenience and completely unacceptable.
Their customer service is awful and they would not return calls or emails.
Stay away.
I’ve been to two avantstay vrbos now and both times take away from the experience. Booking is more work with verification procedures (not a huge deal) but I also got 3 texts threatening law enforcement because we were too loud. My two children were asleep on the couch next to me at 8:30 in the evening and they started texting. We were not loud at all. I guess there was a noise monitor somewhere in the house. Just dumb stuff I don’t need to worry about. If there are multiple options next trip I’ll be sure to book the one that’s NOT avantstay. Just go away avantstay. No one wants you.
AvantStay ruined our vacation. We booked a property ten months in advance of a festival to secure lodging in an extremely small town. Five months later, AvantStay emailed us saying our reservation was cancelled due to the property being delisted.
Instead of moving us into another property, we were left to fend for ourselves. There were no affordable options available for us to stay anymore, and AvantStay only offered us a 5% discount on booking a new place (which would still mean paying 50% more than we originally did).
I’m completely disgusted by how they treat their customers, and even though I’ve had good experiences with them in the past I will never been booking again with AvantStay.
Be warned.

Location of home was outstanding, convenient to the beach and Belmont Park. Wonderful place to walk.
The home itself is a great size for a large group. Home needs maintenance and deep cleaning. The appliances need to be replaced. There are 2 dishwashers and both were broken. AvantStay sent paper plates, bowls, cups and silverware which helped but with 14 people there was still a lot of hand dishwashing that had to be done. The dryer took hours to dry anything and it made a lot of noise. The patio has dead plants and the outdoor spa did not look inviting. It was a good space, but for the money we paid the home should have been in much better shape.
The AvantStay app made it super easy to book and manage my last stay. No more searching through emails to find reservation confirmations or details. Check-in instructions and the all info you need for your trip are right in AvantStayVacationRentals
Avantstay has an easy to use app which can be used to book their incredible collection of homes. One of the best travel apps to have on your phone!
We were so happy with this home. And the AvantStay App makes it so easy. The home was super clean and has beautiful furnishings and decor. We will definitely book here again and recommend it to friends and family!

Love the changes and updates they’ve done to AvantStayVacationRentals , like being able to search for the name of the property, definitely faster to book a place you see and like from their Instagram.
This was one of the best homes we have stayed at. Safe neighborhood & the pool literally across the street was a plus for us. Well equipped home. Also appreciated the welcome gift.

This is the second time I stay at an Avant property and the whole experience was amazing. I stayed in Malibu and the vibe that I got from the house was so unique, definitely better than Airbnb’s. Loved it! As a suggestion, I would like to be able to book future stays in AvantStayVacationRentals and see everything in an agenda. Thank you!!
We stayed at the Springsteen property in Nashville for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The house was beautiful! There was plenty of space for all 10 of us, and the place was extremely clean and spacious. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house, as we were busy enjoying all that Nashville has to offer. But it was so nice to come back to the Springsteen property at the end of each day. I would definitely stay again.

Downloaded AvantStayVacationRentals after booking through the AvantStay website. It made it easy to manage my reservation and view any information I needed for my stay. I liked that I was able to request a late check out directly through AvantStayVacationRentals . Highly recommend AvantStayVacationRentals if you are booking an AvantStay home.
I 10/10 recommend AvantStay. Their whole structure is phenomenal. Their service is like no other. It is unbelievable that their local property manager will go out of their way to make sure you as a guest are satisfied; such as bringing over beach toys or picking up your groceries from the store. Again 10/10 recommend!!
I’ve stayed with AvantStay a few times now and love the beautiful homes and services they provide. The best part is being able to do everything through AvantStayVacationRentals . I was able to book a sunset massage by the pool through AvantStayVacationRentals and it was one of the best experiences of my vacation in Palm Springs. I can’t wait to stay with AvantStay again!

I stayed in an AvantStay home in the Smokies last week. It was AMAZING. The home was beautiful & full of cool stuff like a movie theater room, an indoor pool, two hot tubs, two arcade games, a pool table & probably even more that I’m forgetting 😱 I had all of the guests book their rooms through AvantStayVacationRentals prior to arrival which was super easy & prevented any arguments once we got there lol! Loved our vacation and can’t wait to book again 🤩
This home was all we expected and more! It was extremely clean and in an amazing location. The home was stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and perfect space for young children as well. The outdoor area has safe space for the kids to play and an amazing hot tub that the adults enjoyed. We will most definitely be staying here again!
I love the location. The condo was large for 4 and with all that we need. We would stay here again and highly recommend this place..
