Not Useful
I accidentally thought VacationRentals was something else I was looking for. My main goal was to find an alternative to Airbnb as I had a very bad experience with them. When I search for places in one area that I was interested in, all I got back were references/links to Airbnb. I don’t understand the value of VacationRentals if you can just go straight to the original source.

Total Price is Not the Total Price
A lot of these listings have fees and deposits that are not included in the total. That makes it very frustrating to search for a place. I’ll spend a long time narrowing places down only to realize they are not in budget in the first place. Grrr. Very, very annoying.

Very confusing to even book
VacationRentals is hard to use. I try to type in a specific location and it loads vacation homes in other locations and on different dates.

You can find the best house but it will be for thousands and it does not sho Cheap prices if the prices weren’t so expensive it would be better than Airbnb but it’s just too pricey

Neither prices or filters give you the right results once it opens the partner website. Great idea I would love to see it actually works in the future.

Use other parties and when you have question no one responds to emails or answers the phone. One day the phone number works and one day it’s disconnected

I’m searching for vacation homes in Las Vegas and the results came back with “alternative in Aruba and Jamaica” at the least make it the same country

Avoid hard
This awful app is just a middleman (aggregator) skimming a little more of your money without adding any value. The parent company is also a "primary" advertiser on Fox News.

False advertisement
I tried scheduling a 3 night visit to Orange Beach, AL and this website/app said it was $26/nightly rate. I inquired to get more info. When I was contacted back, the total for that trip was $400+! Disappointed with the false advertisement of this site

Was looking for a place in Avalon Park Florida which VacationRentals kept changing to Avalon Park Florist. Apparently that’s a town? No listings there, so it gave me all the listings in Hawaii.

Home to go allows huge corporations to list homes on their site. Those businesses have requirements, over and above home to go. As a result, when I booked a home with home to go, somebody from a business called Casiola emailed me and demanded photos of my ID and credit card. When I asked why they needed.a.picture of my credit card, they threatened to cancel my trip. I reached 9ut to home to go, and they supported the business over me, telling me that I needed to provide that information, even if it was not part of the contract I had entered into, and even though the reservationwas paid in full.. When that company canceled my reservation, arbitrarily and without notice, I booked another home and paid in full. Little did I know that the 2nd property was also owned by a huge corporation, and they also demanded pictures of my ID and credit card, and they wanted me to send it through unsecured email. Again, home to go sided with the corporation. It seems that a contract means nothing to home to go, and they are very comfortable with changing the terms of a.contract after it has been signed and money has changed hands. The girl I just spoke.with actually told me that she didn't understand what the big deal is. Sigh

I hosted on home to go and had a terrible experience. Firstly after verifying my account it kept prompting me to verify my account again and again and again. Then they didn’t pay me for my first booking with them saying something on the payment screen was incorrect - all was correct, I checked fifty times. Finally there was absolutely no response from host-relations, info, partner or partner support emails hey ask you to contact. There’s no phone for hosts so you’re on your own. Avoid at all costs!

My experience with Hometogo was a disaster. I do not recommend this service. They are not responsable for anything. We booked a house in Sardenia and never got a confirmation letter. We kept writing about this situation for 3 weeks but were ignored or insulted by their partner AioSardenia. They kept our deposit 500 euros. If you don't want your money to be stolen and your holiday to be spoiled, never use HomeTogo and AioSardenia.

I would give 0 stars if I had the chance! I don't even know where to start. We made a booking through HomeToGo which was confirmed, and IPG sent us a confirmation email with all details in it as well. About a month later we travel all the way to Florida the day of check-in, and what do we see? OUR RESERVATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED TWO WEEKS AGO AND NO ONE INFORMED US. We're in Florida right now with a group of 9 girls with literally nowhere to stay, trying to figure that out. We're EXTREMELY disappointed and ANGRY that this happened and obviously stressed trying to find a place to go LAST SECOND. Never work with them again. Also, until today, I tried SO much to contact them. Non-stop calls, online chat waiting for a representative to show up for hours, and numerous emails with no responses. Just finally got one from IPG saying we're canceled HOURS BEFORE CHECK-IN. This is unacceptable.
