Getting back into programming and by review seems to be the best app. Love that the devs stay on top of ratings and reviews. Unfortunately Yolmo is broken on my iPad(2021). Playground tab is completely empty, workspaces tab is empty(upon hitting plus button nothing happens), and attempting to open profile crashes Yolmo . Reinstalled twice with no resolution. Please get back to me, would love to give Yolmo a chance.
Edit: Fixed the problem by opening Yolmo from the AppStore rather than pressing it on my Home Screen. I believe the issue has something to do with Yolmo not displaying the log in screen upon opening it for the first time.
Unfortunately a new issue I discovered on the iPad(2021) with Yolmo. Changing orientation of the device will sometimes cut half of the screen off prompting me to have to restart Yolmo in my desired orientation.

Quite useful! And free, no ads. Now i can easily continue my coding away from my PC and in any of language i wish to. So fabulous! Suggestion: I understand because of size limits there some things it cannot do, but would be great if users (maybe optional premium feature) execute node + npm stuff. (In JS ) Doesn’t have to be ALL modules but a few select ones which would not need too much resources. Thanks.

🤩🤩🤩🤩 🤩 The number of languages available in Yolmo is incredible. Each language comes with heaps of built-in tutorials, and I can access them offline. Javascript, Python 3, Go, Rust, Swift, C, C++, C#, SED, PHP, Java, SQL, Lua, Lisp, Picat, Cobol, Perl, Graphviz Feature request: please support ruby and kotlin What makes Yolmo a cut above the rest is that: 1. It’s free 2. No ads 3. The developer responds real fast. I hope Yolmo gets millions of users.

Great experience so far. Found a bug with current version: I was learning about Lua and got up to the types page, when I decided I wanted to learn about Python. The intro page will only load the Lua types page even after closing & restarting Yolmo .
Suggestion: customizable top left menu: eg. I’d like shortcuts to Lua & Python but someone else might want SQL & C.

There are a few typos, but in general Yolmo provides a good summary and overall bird’s eye view of the included programming languages.I originally got it to look at a summary of Lisp, and I have reviewed the tutorial on C programming. Please maintain Yolmo and add to it. I was on a long plane ride and the tutorial is perfect for learning, even though the compilers require an internet connection.

This really help to check out syntax errors and other testing errors. Since it is an editor on phone, I can check it almost anywhere without a laptop. Hope this can be better soon. It takes three clicks to switch personal workspaces to tutorial. Hope there is a short cut.

A couple days ago i wrote a rating for help, because i couldn’t log up. The developers messaged me to resolve the issue. He figured it out and is patching it, it was amazing how quickly he responded, and it felt like he actually wanted to help. I’m exited to use Yolmo because how much dedication these developers have. Have a good day!

Has a built in editor or ide , or you can use a different one. And many different languages.
It explains the entire language and how it works.. this is freakin awesome. I do wish it had quizzes or tests to test your skills as you learn. But it is great the way it is. I’m learning lua and it is more then helpful

Great app. No documentation for help or Q/A on how to run Yolmo and no obvious way to make inputs work. I have a program that requires more than one input and i keep getting errors. Real frustrating when your trying to learn a new language.
Edit: Inputs now work and with multiple input compatible. Still no Documentation or Q/A so if you want help this is the only way to get it.

Over my years as a programmer, I haven’t come across an app like this, very simplified and user friendly. It’s a great app, easy to use and updated for multiple functions.
Kudos to the team in charge of this. You did a great job. I hope to more great experience using Yolmo .

I honestly think it’s a great app, although mobile apps for programming are not always the most optimal, I think this one does what it’s supposed to do.
My only complaint is that it doesn’t autofill html tags after you write the word, because it’s really annoying to have to write html tags out.
Other than that… great app, does what it’s supposed to do

It’s a fantastic app to practice coding, but I noticed that when you create multiple snippets in a workspace folder, the contents of old snippets gets messed up (overwritten with that of the new one). If the contents of the snippets were stable, Yolmo will be just perfect for me.

I love the tutorials, but whenever you edit one, it is permanently that way. So if I accidentally edit a tutorial, I have to delete and reinstall Yolmo to reset it. :( Other then that, great app! I'm amused that there is a programming app on mobile, and I really love the way you made buttons for actions that could only be done on keyboard! (tab, left and right arrow, etc)

I’m now getting into programming and Yolmo is an extremely beneficial tool. Before downloading, I also read reviews (obviously the lowest one and why) and I appreciate the developer’s prompt responses. Keep up the good work, it doesn’t go unnoticed. 👌🏾

Yolmo advertises python3 but the input function does not allow the user to input data. I tried raw_input but unfortunately that doesn’t work either. It’s an EOF error and no matter what I do it doesn’t work. I wish they could fix this because other than this, Yolmo is beautiful. But unfortunately, I don’t see myself using it

Yolmo has an alternative editor now, which has multiline copy paste. The old editor had some features I didnt really need so the new one works.
Great app, very useful. Would be nice to have a webview for previewing web/shader stuff.

As of now, every time I try to get in it crashes. Can you guys please help me? Yolmo has good reviews and I really want to try it out.
EDIT: ok, now it works sorry for the other review :/
It’s a great app :)

Wondering how to provide input to the python function. All Yolmo seems to have is the program and the output. And, because I can’t provide input to the program, I cannot complete the project I am working on (Generic Beginner-Level Text Adventure Game). There’s probably something I haven’t checked, but I looked pretty thoroughly, any help? Otherwise great app.

I can’t say how much I had enjoyed Yolmo on my free time , now I have a question (how do you copy and paste on phone?) trying to export some codes and is not way I could find it, everything else on my opinion is great, good job guys.

This is truly the best to learn computer programming in mobile smartphones just to know how the software aspect works for those curious minds who put the hard work in their mindsets.

I really enjoy Yolmo and I am learning about Lua, but it looks like it hasn’t happened in a while, can you see if your Lua text needs updated? Thank you!

Yolmo looks overall amazing! Although when you first open Yolmo all it says is sign in with no sign up button.
By lolkaboom
So I was new to Yolmo and read many good reviews about it. I wanted to learn Lua, once I got there it I noticed it doesn’t give much text information like python does. I still think it is a very helpful and useful app. :)

I think you cant delete files for some reason, and cant make folders in folders for the python edition, but is was great

Took me about 20 seconds to realize there wasn’t a paste or copy function. Basic functions of the keyboard don’t seem to work. 🤔 Will look into it more.
Other then that it looks like a great app.
Would be loads better if paste worked
note: i was in the python ide
