Lots of issues.

1-Well while editing tag if you leave some places empty they write back to the one which you deleted even if you hit save.

2-One can’t change the file name while in the editor mode so to change the file name you need to go back and rename separately. That’s annoying.

3- If I forget to hit save. I have to do it again and write things manually again. Why can’t in app itself there must be way to save setting that even if I have not hit save as long as I have edited anything it stays last edited thing saved manner. So never need to hit save.

3- if there could be anyway to remove all the thumbnail cover images in one go for all files or if there could be way to replace a common thumbnail image file for selected files or all then would have been lot easier.

More annoyance and shortcomings I will update later. These are major annoyance and time wasting processes need priority fix.

Does not recognize iTunes app downloaded music

When I downloaded my music from my pc using the iTunes app, some of the tags and almost all of the covers did not make it. Foolishly, I purchased Evertag without testing it. Evertag cannot find the music stored on my iPhone that is stored within the music app. Obviously a bad assumption by me, I am unsure why this is the case when apps such as the N7 player can find and access those music files.

FAQ’s appears to reference a tab and options that do not appear in this version of Evertag .

Useful but buggy

Evertag is buggy. It seems to have a hard time keeping track of which song it is actually viewing/editing and will display the wrong info at times. While I was trying to edit a song’s title, Evertag overwrote the entire metadata of one song with another song’s data. I ended up re-downloading the song in question because of it.

It would be extremely helpful to have a spreadsheet-style view, so that I could look at the fields I’m most concerned with on all my songs at a glance. I intend to do some heavy organizing using metadata but that’s a lot harder if I have to check each song one by one. Filtering would be huge for this as well.

⚠️Failed to save audio tag⚠️

I can't change the audio tag of a lot of mp3 on my hard drive.
It seems to those mp3 files and albums are locked by the previous person who changed tags before.
And when I want to change the audio tags exactly this Error Message showed up: Failed to save audio tag
Please fix this problem.
Thanks.

It Just Works

I needed to edit an embedded tag and the album cover art in an mp3 file and I couldn't find a free option that actually worked on PC, iOS or online. Then I found this. A well-designed app that did exactly what I needed in less than 30 seconds.

Could be great, but no documentation

I have no idea what’s going on with Evertag and it’s management of files. I have a large collection of music in OneDrive, and I can open them, but can’t seem to change the OneDrive files themselves.

I’d like to look at the documentation and figure out how the Files choice works and what happens when metadata is changed and a file is saved, but it’s non-existent. Maybe it’s crippled in the free version, but I don’t see what functionality, if any, is limited in the free version.

This could be a great app, but I can’t find how to use it.

It would also be nice if it worked for .dsf files

Very Good

Found this for keeping metadata up to date after moving away from string to locally playing audio. Only wish is if you could do a batch rename of files based on tag. Maybe it exists and I haven’t found it yet.

This isn’t a review just a question

So I tried to use M4a files to tag but it doesn’t do anything and I can’t save either but it says on the description that M4a is supported so Is there like a bug or something

good

Is good but i have encountered issue. Usually works to give my local files artist name and cover art but just recently i try it and it doesn’t update and i do not knowledge why.

“Easy as Sunday Morning”

I tag a lot of my music before sending out; Evertag has become a good friend, real easy to use. Love the batch editing too

Incredible app!

I’ve been waiting for an app like this for a long time. One of the few reasons I still need my mac is for mp3 metadata editing. Now I can do this task on my iPad and iPhone. Great job developers!!!

Great app but...

I noticed that the album cover gets scaled down once it is integrated to the song. Not a big deal but if you really look closely you can tell it is a little blurrier than the original photo.

Finally an App for this, but..

Okay first off thank you for someone making an app for this. My hope is Evertag gains a lot more options for interface settings and tagging ability. I’d write my feedback but Evertag says I don’t have an email client setup which if it means Apple email that’s true. Things I would like to see
01. Make the cover art preview for each file bigger, like the wide of the screen bigger.
02. Make tagging for folders as well as files.
03. Add bulk tagging from the root of a folder, what I mean by this is say I’m in the artist folder and have 4 albums but the artist name isn’t correct I want to be able to correct it for all files within this folder.

So far, so good!

Just upgraded to premium right off the bat because it’s only a $3 one time fee.
Evertag is really good at simplifying its task, and it makes short work of adding cover photos to audio files.

FINALLY IVE FOUND IT

I have FINALLY found a good audio tag editor on IOS. It’s been so long but finally like a knight in shining armor Evertag has saved me from the slightly annoying search for a good tag editor! I am actually shocked how well this works. I LOVE YOU WHATEVERTHENAMEOFTHISAPPIS!!!

I can’t thank you enough

I originally tried to go online and do this, but the glitch made it only upload image files only, so I went to Evertag Store and found this.
At first I was confused on how to do this, but now EVERYTHING makes sense. It literally just edits the file on your phone. No waiting for uploading and downloading, just *snap*, the file's been tagged. Huge dub. 5⭐️.

Great App - excellent update!!

Hi guys,
I just want to say thank you for this excellent update. I very much appreciate now uploading artwork at full resolution - thanks for listening to the feedback.

This is now one of the best apps I use on iPadOS - will be upgrading to premium. Nice work!

Works as it should, so I use it (:

Took a little bit to understand when editing multiple files, you have to swipe to the next one, but it’s working. Premium’s affordable too. Thanks for making Evertag 👍🏼

Keeps Crashing

I don’t know if it’s a bug, but it was working perfectly for me but when I get all the way to the bottom to edit a tag it keeps crashing. Other than that it works fine and as intended. When you get the chance to fix the problem I will give you five stars.

Please Update

Bug error where it corrupts your file after adding a photo, i love Evertag but please fix this quickly
