Really Helps Me Map My Triggers

MooditudeAHappierYou has truly helped me during a time frame when I can’t see an actual therapist due to insurance reasons. My friends are definitely sick of hearing my fears, anxiety and stress about my LOL but in reality MooditudeAHappierYou has help me realize that if I get bad sleep or lack of sleep my anxiety, social anxiety and depression is really bad the next day. Which is some thing with a therapist I never really would’ve realized. Also I use only the free version (I am disabled and not yet receiving my SSDI) But the free version has VERY helpful things such as the uplifting quotes or meditations or jokes to help put me in a better mood OR perspective. I like the random things they ask you to write about like “things to be appreciative about that day” helps me put my life and a better perspective. Only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because I wish there was a way to combine all the checkmark things that I’m doing for the day and be able to write about my day in one pass instead of having to go through it all over again. But all in all this is a great app I would recommend it even to people who are in therapy or group counseling it’s really a great tool to better mental health! Great for teens too, my niece is using it to deal with her teenage issues without worrying about peer influence or gossip. Helps her a lot!

Great app, would definitely recommend.

I am a chronically ill with some debilitating illnesses as well as a wife, mom, stepmom and I also try to be a good friend. The stress of it all takes an incredible toll on your mental health, especially during a time like now with COVID and a lot of isolation and tension in the world.
My medical team encouraged me to find apps that would suit me and support me that I could use daily, that some even accepted insurance. I stumbled on Mooditude and though I’m still getting the hang of it, a quick check in even if it’s just tapping some icons of what I’m feeling while I’m running after a baby is actually really helpful. The downside for me would be the financial side once my grant runs out (Thank you Mooditude team!)
MooditudeAHappierYou has SO much potential to grow therapeutically and help people like me who are isolated due to illness, struggle with depression and social anxiety, and so much more. It could really bring the world together. I personally would love a forum where tired parents could just sit and vent over virtual coffee and talk about anything and everything! But yes. I definitely recommend!

Such a helpful mental health app

I’ve tried other apps and this one had them all best! I like all of the features and think the price point is great. My favorite features are the habit trackers and the forum. The habit tracker allows me to create a routine for each part of the day and I can make it as complex or simple as works for me. They feature mental health experts (like LCSW, for example) on the forum and they will answer questions with great tips! It’s also a great place to share any experience you’re going through and to get a different perspective on your issue. I also like how you can journal through the mood tracker and writing. Finally, the CBT exercises within MooditudeAHappierYou have been helpful, especially when I’m really struggling with my depression and anxiety. Highly recommend if you’re looking for mental health support!

Great but would love to suggest things

I’m very excited to have tried MooditudeAHappierYou to track my moods and find it extremely helpful, especially since it records time when you journal (and I am terrible at journaling but a quick note on a phone I can do!) AND activities that you were doing when recording a mood change.

I would really love more options for both emotions (worst, low, normal, high, and elevated are very limiting and I’d like more specificity) and activity icons when I’m adding my own activities. Angry, afraid, anxious, guilty, content, etc. would be amazing to have as emotion options. “Normal” and “high” don’t capture enough or aren’t correct for me sometimes. It would also be nice to see all activities under a mood in Insights, rather than only the most recently used five.

I’m only on day four but I can’t wait to see more data and get much-needed insight into my emotional states. User interface is great, visually appealing but simple and easy to use. Recommending to friends for sure.

Great partner app through my depression

I was going through a real down period and felt like I couldn’t really get my thoughts down in a reliable application. Tried a number of different methods even using ones that works previously and nothing seemed to stand out.

Once i started using mooditude and made an effort to use MooditudeAHappierYou , it slowly became a part of my routine. After a number of months using it i finally paid for the subscription. It really has helped me monitor my feelings overtime and I appreciate how quick and easy it is to wrote journals on MooditudeAHappierYou. This is literally my first review for an app and totally deserves it.

Therapist approved

This is a great resource for aiding in your daily mental health tune up. It is a one stop shop where you can track your mood, change thinking patterns, journal, take courses related to improving mental health and so many more features being added. It can feel like a lot at times because of all that they offer but take what you need and don’t try to do everything. This is a great free resource and the premium version has even more resources. I’m looking forward to seeing the ways Mooditude improves the mental health of many.

I like it

I wish the routines had more customizability, but it's alright as is. I think the most important part to me is the journaling aspect. I don't have a physical notebook I feel comfortable writing in, but when I write on here I have no filter. I can express myself to myself far better than I can with any other person, and changing these thoughts from feeling to words is really helpful. I don't really use the other features because I wanna work on just journaling and routine following before I add any more for me to do.

Even the free version is great!!

MooditudeAHappierYou is pretty good! Better than the other ones I’ve tried out. I wish it let you type things for the mood recording or mood logs so you could say more specifically about it. Forums and journalling is helpful. Love that they give out scholarships to people for this, I’m currently on it so I don’t have to pay!! Super helpful. Wish they’d add more to their meditations. One of my favorite meditation apps is Insight Times btw, would recommend that one as well. Anyways, great app!!

A better outlook every day

I’ve lived with a lot of stress all my life, but this year has just been too much.

I’m glad I found Mooditude because it reminds me to check in with myself a few times a day, reflect on what I’m feeling and notice the patterns that make my stress flare up. The lessons and exercises are simple but effective at shifting my thinking.

Just the colorful logo popping up on my phone regularly makes me a little happier.

Good at tracking symptoms but not at diagnosing

MooditudeAHappierYou is extremely thorough in allowing you to track your mood, what you were doing when you felt that way, time, etc. as well as sleep patterns, exercise, meditation, medication, and menstruation. It gives analysis and graphs for highs and lows and streaks, but there’s no real diagnosis or follow up that comes with the inputs. I am not, of course, expecting this to be a form of therapy or to take the place of a doctor. In fact, I think it’s a great tool to use to bring to a therapist for reference in certain areas of depression and mental health tracking.

Such a great mental health app!

I’ve been really stressed over school and work and MooditudeAHappierYou has really helped me with relieving my stress. I log how I’m feeling on a specific day and MooditudeAHappierYou provides feedback on how to mitigate my stress. MooditudeAHappierYou also has a forum where you can ask therapists questions on any issues you’ve been having. I’ve done this a couple times and I’ve really enjoyed the advice! Overall great app!

LOVE this app! Packed with so many features!

I’ve been shocked by how many incredible things I’ve found in MooditudeAHappierYou.

It’s so thoughtful and detailed - the assessment helped me understand what I’m struggling with and I’ve gotten to watch my score change as I learn more about my own mental health with the plan they put together for me… it’s also so cute and fun to end my daily routine with their little jokes and insights. Love MooditudeAHappierYou!! Exercises can be a little extensive but that’s where all the self-improvement really thrives! Just make sure you set aside time for it. :) Love that it’s also like a social media platform where everyone can post their goals/accomplishments (etc.) It creates a community with this inclusivity and support in times where you may think you’re alone. Great app, would recommend.

Very useful but you need the full app

MooditudeAHappierYou is very useful and I have benefited from its use everyday. You can journal, track activities and possible triggers. You can track sleep, exercise, meditation, journaling and habits of daily living. With the full app you can also access CBT techniques and teaching courses. I recommend this to people all the time as well as mental health professionals for their clients.

Great resource!

I have found MooditudeAHappierYou to be so useful and worth it to pay for. It gives me lots of insights about my mood. I especially like the Feel Good feature that identifies the source of your good mood and the Identify Thinking Traps section which lets you not only rate your mood, but also gets into what’s making you feel that way. I have literally recommended this to a friend and totally would again!

Life changing App!

I have recently updated MooditudeAHappierYou and it now has an added feature which allows me to look back and identify what kinds of thoughts I was having leading to a poor mood. I have suffered from emotional eating for years and now that I can reflect and see patterns that cause me to eat emotionally. I have since then lost weight.. MooditudeAHappierYou was easy-to-use and super affordable. Mooditude uses cognitive behavioral therapy to address why you think and feel the way you do. You can log a daily journal and your exercise and sleep routine to get insights. Coping activities and meditation helped me make time for myself. An app that really helps

It’s really helping me with my anxiety and depression and on re play thoughts, I’m thinking to upgrade to have full access to app but as far as the free version it’s still very useful but I feel having full access will be worth paying for it. I’m glad I found MooditudeAHappierYou 😊

Useful!

I’ve been using Mooditude for 2 weeks and find MooditudeAHappierYou to be really helpful & easy to use. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to track their mental health and how it correlates with sleep, meditation, menstruation, and other activities.

Strengths:
- simple mood rating & activity logging system means I can quickly record what is going on
- automatically graphs data
- ability to personalize activities means I can make MooditudeAHappierYou work better for me

Ways app could be improved:
- make graphs easier to interpret by labeling axes
- make it easier to understand what the mood faces are meant to be (still unsure what the grey face represents) & how they are translated into graphed numbers
- is there a way to export and save the data?

Free to download pay to use

I was going to recommend this to students with emotional problems that I work with since it looked free to download. Since you can not access even a basic version without paying I am not going to recommend it at all. There is no chance for me to thoroughly check on MooditudeAHappierYou, and I would not recommend an app to my students they need to pay for because many of them cannot afford it. A basic free version should be made available.

I have been very impressed with this app! I am a licensed therapist and I believe that the nature of the content offers a solid foundation for people to develop awareness about their mental health. The diverse and widespread activities, forums, meditations and resources create a safe space for users to learn about themselves in an insightful way. Users can use this tool daily to strengthen their coping strategies and create new habits inspired by CBT and other evidence-based therapeutic approaches. I have found that the Mooditude app makes learning about wellness interesting and fun with a user-friendly interface. I strongly recommend!
