Don’t get me wrong, I love Star Stable. But.. I couldn’t play a lot, so I was very happy when I found out SSO was coming to mobile, and it looked like it took little to no storage space. I downloaded it, played, and oh boy, do I have things to talk about. The turns are not sharp at all, which bugs me because how can I train..? The turns are very wide and I have to slow down to a walk just to move properly like on PC. SSO literally fights with your battery as well, I played for maybe 30 minutes, my phone was on 77, after playing for that short amount of time, my phone was at 14. I have an older phone from 2016 so my battery is bad, but it’s never that bad. After the Equestrian Festival came out, the storage issue was so bad. I had to delete over 1,800 photos and over 130 videos just so I could play mobile while in the car on a road trip. Another thing I’ve noticed is my phone overheats so bad when I play SSO. Like I said, my phone is from 2016, the battery is messed up and it overheats a lot, but never this bad. It got so bad to the point I didn’t even want to touch my phone because it was so hot, and it took 25-ish minutes to cool down. I know you can’t fix the overheating issue, but the other things I feel like you can. SSO is a great game and this has nothing to do with SSO on PC- but if you have a PC, play SSO on the PC, it’s way better. SSO would be better mobile if you’re in the car and bored or just can’t use your PC.

I have playing star stable for over 10 years on PC. I was pretty excited when I heard they would have it for mobile so I could play on the go. But when I downloaded it and played for awhile I had some problems. 1. The controls. If I want to spin in a circle while standing still I can’t. If I want to turn right, it turns left. Half my time is spent just trying to stop backing up! It’s not reason to quit but it sure is annoying! 2. Quests. Trying to talk to people is a PAIN! Example: I did some stable chores and went to collect my shillings and couldn’t talk to the person to get my money and had to do it again on my PC. This one is slightly worse than the control issues because talking to NPC’s is such a big part of the game if you want to do more than just run around. Please keep in mind this could all just be an issue I’m having since I’m not used to playing on mobile. Having said that, I have heard others complaining about mobile too. I’m not sure if there is a way for SSO to improve this. Even though it has some issues, it’s still playable. I would still 100% recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun horse game! There is a reason I’m still a fan even after 10+ years of playing. These issues shouldn’t discourage you from a possibility super fun experience. However if you are able to get it on a PC, definitely try it on PC instead! Have a great day!

It pains me to give it a 2 bc tbh this game deserves a 5 but I still have a few problems with it first when I tried playing it again after a while it said it needed to update and I did but everytime I tried it hit 90 or 91% right it went back to 80% and it kept going like that for a while so it never got updated 🥲 sadly but my other problem is that it’s sad how for people like me who are broke and can’t afford it we can’t experience the game fully I love the game I do and it breaks my heart that I can’t complete the storyline or explore the places that I love and yes the times (2) I’ve managed to convince my mother to actually get it for me I was so happy anyways I know that technically you guys do it for profit 😭 but I still think it’s soo unfair like there’s no point for people who don’t have money to even play it since they really can’t you know you will only get to complete a few things of like not even that much of the storyline tbh I still get why you have it that way i feel like if you guys just make us pay for other stuff you know or other things such as horses or anything special in the game you guys could also make the same money you know but idk for sure cause im not you guys and i know it’s not that easy but i wish i was able to play the whole game anyways it’s still a great game and I love it so I still recommend if you’re okay with not being able to play the game fully then i still recommend you should play it

I love this game a lot but there are few problems fiat is that when you want to buy a horse there’s no way to do that unless you spend real money on but star coins and the prices for that are high it costs almost $25 real dollars to even get 1 horse and quests don’t give very much shillings and everything in the shops have high prices and it took me over a month to even be able to afford even 1 item another thing is when I was doing quests it was the pony one and when he told me to give it a try we weren’t allowed because I didn’t have a pony but it was my only quest and I can’t get past that quest I can’t do anything else and it’s a bit frustrating because the star coins cost real money I think an update that y’all should include would be letting us work for shillings and star coins because we want our stables to grow even if we only get a few star coins it’s still working us to our goal which is to grow our stables and get more horses and tack I current only have 1 horse and it’s a starter horse I haven’t made a single star coin in this game and I don’t understand why we can’t get them for free and not $7 for 100 star coins I have 0 star coins and have been playing for a while now please try to include ways to make star coins and shillings in this game so we don’t have to buy them especially because of there prices, thank you.😊

I downloaded the game when it first came out to the US and it was really good but there were only a few issues involving walking with your character glitching issues and weird login problems. Starting with the character issue it’s not a huge deal but it is a little aggravating when it happens. The issue is, is when you get off your horse and try to walk with your character it changes the joystick to what you would use when you’re riding your horse and can’t move your character when this happens. The next issue being glitching, the glitching issue isn’t a huge problem just a few minor things like when you try to get a horse out of the paddock it doesn’t work and won’t let me get it I don’t know if this is considered glitching but thats what I would call it. And the final issue I have ti address is sometime in the waiting room it says I’m not logged in but most of the time it’ll fix itself well today it told me that I wasn’t logged in and that my account didn’t exist, I thought it was really weird and probably just a accident but I thought I would say something. Overall this game is really great and I’m really glad you all decided to put it on mobile it’s s great way for people without a desktop to be able to play, and just is very convenient I love it but thought I would share the issues I’ve been having with you. Thank you for what you’ve been doing to make StarStableOnline better!

I downloaded this game once it came out on mobile in the US, so far it’s been great! The community is nice for the most part and the game is super fun! However, I do think it needs some improvements. I think there should be more ways to earn star coins instead of having to pay. While I’m aware of codes that give you star rider for free for a period of time I think we need other ways to earn star coins. The main focus of the game is horses! But, horses can be very expensive and the only way to pay for them is in star coins! While I do enjoy the game it would be really nice to have other ways to earn star coins whether it be through quests or competing. If you don’t want to add other ways to earn star coins you could offer the ability to pay for horses in shillings. This would be equally as helpful as shillings are a lot easier to obtain without paying! I also think there could be more things to do in your free time while playing. Completing quests and side quests can be fun but after a while it gets a bit boring, as well as competing. While I don’t have many ideas for that at the moment I’d love to see some other ways to have fun imputed in the game! Overall, it’s a great game with some needed improvements that will hopefully be fulfilled overtime.

First of all, I absolutely love star stable and I’ve been playing it since I was a kid. All of the newer updates make it much more interesting for new players to participate in the same things as star riders. And the new area updates make it much more colorful and really adds to the world.
The reason I give this game 4 stars and not 5 is because, one; the limitations on character customization. (not everyone has a slim body type or the available skin tones) I know they are currently working on this issue though and it will take time but I just wanted to get that out there :)
And reason two; This is more of a problem for playing on mobile. Now I don’t have a computer anymore so when I heard star stable was coming out with a mobile version I was very thrilled to revisit the game. It is quite difficult to play sso on my iPhone because the screen is so small so I mainly use my iPad. Even though the iPad has a much larger screen than the phone, I still have problems with the controls. I know they make them translucent so that they don’t block or distract the players but I often miss the jump button during races and end up having to start over. It is also tricky having them on opposite sides of the screen. There should be a option to change the color/opacity and placement of the controls to suit the players’ liking.

I love this game wholeheartedly. I would only tweak very few things, but first I will cover the things I like a lot! For one, our amazing dev team is wonderful and I absolutely support them. The social media posts are to make people smile, and I love them. I also am a big fan of the frequent updates, yearly holiday festivals, and creation of more horse breeds. Y’all are really putting in that extra mile! Also I am viewing that complaints or suggestions or anything in between get rapid responses! (Also, I am so happy because y’all support all colors and shapes, and I love it. We have too many body toxic people out there.) Great job guys!

Let’s talk about the things I don’t necessarily dislike, but would definitely tweak a few things. Starters, I feel like the complaints for overpriced star coins are over dramatic, as it’s what keeps y’all running. However, I would like for when I have a horse I don’t like anymore or is old gen, I’d like to be able to sell it for at least half its profit in Star coins, rather than in coins. An alternative would be to award half the horses star coin profit, but take half of the star coin profit and change it into shillings. Either is fine with me, and I don’t overall mind if it doesn’t change, but it definitely would be a nice addition! I feel most of my recommendations have already been suggested or viewed, so I’ll stop there. Overall, easy 5 stars. We love you dev team!

Let me start by saying this ; I love this game. I play on it a lot. It is fun, sweet, and enjoyable. But I find it easier to find out if I like a game by reading what people DON’T like about the game. So, let’s start here. Star coins are very expensive. I understand that you may have money issues, or that you may need to make things expensive to pay your team, but really…? Thirty dollars for 1000 coins on a kids game just so I can buy a helmet and a shirt or one horse? Really? Is that necessary? Star rider- yes, I do have star rider because I play this game literally every second I can, but it’s a total rip-off to people who rarely play the game but want to do more then play around Moorland and Fort Pinta. I know this game could be better, really, but I want to encourage the devs and other people to keep working hard, because it makes a lot of people happy to play this game. Now, I’m just…gonna address something real quick. People don’t seem to like that their is magic in this game, so, anyone whose reading this review and doesn’t already have the game, now you know. There is magic. And finally, I have a small idea. Maybe you could add carriages/carts to this game, as..kind of a role play thing? Anyways, if you have made it this far, congrats! You have finished my exhaustingly long review.

So I absolutely love this game, it’s my most favorite game right now, but I do have suggestion.. I think it might be fun if u made so ur friends could ride ur horses from ur stables like with a request or something. And even tho I’m a star rider pls make it so non star riders can at least like 2 horses. Ok I’m back with a few more suggestions, 1: pls make it so Lifetime Star Riders get more like 300 SC every week instead of 100. 2: I think it would be really great if we could do our own custom horse. 3: the game lags quite a bit (I still love sso) but it would be really nice if there was less lag. 4: PLEASE make it so non star riders can access more of the map, because when I’m playing with my non star riders friend(s) we basically have to stick to Moorland and Fort Pinta. Hi again, sorry I keep coming up with more ideas. I think it’d be great if sc cost less money. Hey I’m back again to add one thing- I’m BEGGING please please please DO NOT increase the RAM. bc I used be able to play on my phone but then sso got updated to 4 ram and my phone only has 3-thank goodness my iPad at least had 4. But if y’all increase the ram again I won’t be able to play and then I will be angry and sad. I noticed that u guys updated the game to have the “inviting friends” and if you did use that from my idea thank you so much, I am so happy you added it!!! Thx for reading!

This game is just amazing, the detail, the thought, the everything! I love it!! I’m always excited when it updates and the horses are absolutely beautiful. I mean it’s such a cool game. It’s like it’s bringing those horses to life with the way they move. It’s so realistic and the quests never get boring. I got this game around 2 ish years ago and I’m so pleased with how much it’s been updated + how the updates came out. It definitely deserves five stars. I’m being completely honest with the review. If you don’t have the game yet and your thinking about getting it, get it. Star rider is great!! It’s amazing! Ofc like any game there’s bugs and minor glitches, but all of them are fixed in an appropriate amount of time. It’s great to play when there isn’t much to do, or if it’s a rainy day. I find it kind of relaxing. It’s super fun and I’m SUPER happy with the newer horse models. They’re so realistic it’s crazy. There’s one minor problem I’m hoping to have fixed with the stables. Sometimes when I walk my character, it gets stuck in place like there’s something invisible it’s trapped in. Besides that no problems with the game so far, again 2 ish years of playing and barely any glitches as far as I’ve been on there. Love it! Keep it up star stable. Also can you guys please add blankets for the horses? It would be a nice addition. I saw a lot of people asking for it.

Hello again, Star Stable Team! I just have a few recommendations for new updates. Here’s what I thought: I really would appreciate it for horses to swim. But maybe for specific horses so you wouldn’t spent a lot of time, but I thought Tellina, Kampos, Sedna, and Proteus would swim in deep water. And maybe the ponies could swim in the shallow water and all the other horses can swim in water that’s not too deep nor too shallow. I would also like for you to add rodeos. But the one place I want the rodeos to be in is Starshine Ranch. And maybe Camp Western could be added permanently for people who like western. There could also be a Camp English for people who like English riding. Maybe you could add more cross country races in SSO. I know about the one in Silverglade Vineyard. The cross country races could be at Steve’s farm, Starshine Ranch, and Firgrove. There could also be cross country practice. My last one is that maybe the Cloud Kingdom could be permanent. I was also thinking of something else like more rainbow color changing horses and fire horses. Since it’s like fire, the horse breed could be mustangs. Those are all of my recommendations for updates. I hope you have an awesome St. Patrick’s day and Easter. I’d love this game a lot if you add at least one of these updates to the game. Buh-bye! This game is really thriving right now, I have talked with plenty of other people in the community and it looks like the majority of them are really happy with sso right now as am I! The new star coin codes monthly thing that we have had for the last two months has been really great and it would be even better if this could be a regular thing in the future but if not I am still so grateful for what we have got so far. I’m really happy with the new coats that have been released so far and I am so excited for the festival! I have been having some issues lately with glitches and bugs in the game that make it hard to play, like the water glitch where whenever I give my horse water I get kicked off the game, and the game gets slow at certain points but it has been getting better and I am loving the new things recently. I would love to see some more jumping courses in the future on fields? I love jumping on fields in real life instead of in arenas if that is something you guys may be considering I would absolutely love that and maybe some liberty things for horses like liberty tack. I would also love to know if sso will ever be available to download and play on Chromebook, I haven’t got access to any other computer for now and prob a while and it would be great if I could play from my Chromebook.

I love Star Stable very much and I used to never be able to play because I didn’t have a computer to use. When I found out mobile was coming out I was quite excited and I still play on mobile to this day. The animations for horses are amazing and I enjoy how detailed the game can be. However, a few issues I have are the characters… I really wish they had more options to choose from when it came to my character. And I’m not a guy, but I really think that male characters would be an awesome addition to the game. I made my bf download the game because I play lol, but he has to play as a girl because that’s the only option. And it’s not a big issue but it would be nice to have the option. Past character customization and such, there are a few minor things about mobile that make it kind of hard to play. The turns are very wide and this can make activities hard because slowing down to turn takes forever so I lost of the time miss and/or not make it which makes me have to restart. My personal favorite horse event in barrels and having to slow down to turn takes a lot of time and I end up having a slower time. There are a few other issues which I’m sure other people have wrote about in these so I won’t get to them. Other then these few minor things, I think that Star Stable is and amazing game and would recommend it to everyone. 🫶🏼

I love this game, the developers are so friendly! I love horses there use to be a horse that lived behind my grandmas house six years ago the owners next door sold her😔, I went to visit the horse cuz her new owner approved of the visit, People say horses don’t remember people, boy can I debunk that theory, this horse Montana was her name lit up like a Christmas tree she was so happy to see me! I would tell that horse everything! So sso brings me that joy ofc I can’t tell the horses everything on the game lol 😂. Horses are definitely characters when they wanna be, BUT they definitely understand humans, so what I think would be cool as heck to add is be able let the horses in the stable run in a paddock that way they aren’t just in the stable like “When she/he (If there are guys playing) coming back to ride us?” This way they get some freedom, because no horse likes to cooped up in a stall all day long, that is like being trapped in school for 15 hours no one way set foot in a school like that. Sorry developers I know I’m rambling but I just have so much to say and a lot of joy and passion for the game!!!!!🐴🐴🐴🐴🐎🐎🐎
Also another cool feature is to make it have more of a weather pattern in the game where if there is a slight breeze the grass moves gently!!!! This game is amazing! A little expensive though, but every now and then Star Stable gives out star coin codes (Star coins can be used to buy horses!) over time these codes add up to a lot and bazaars come around too (discounts on horses), so you’ll be able to get another horse with enough time, or you could just spend the money to buy Star coins.
The begging quest might be a little confusing. On StarStable if your not a star rider you can play for free until level 5, I do believe you get one week free star rider already and guess what Somtimes star stable gives Star rider codes that give about one week as Star rider, when your Star rider you get 100 starcoins everyweek. Ok now I was just advertising! But you can play WITH YOUR FRIENDS TOO!as long as you switch to the same server as each other! Can I just take a minute to explain the graphics AMAZING! don’t worry you START OUT WITH A HORSE THAT YOU DON’T HAVE TO PAY FOR!! you pick the coat color and mane color! And you also make the name and your characters name! Want platnuim white hair in the game go for it! IF YOU HAVE A BIG LOVE FOR HORSES OR JUST WANT TO TRY SOMTHING OUT THAN GET THIS GAME! I have spent hours on this game and I don’t even think I wasted any, I’ve always wanted a horse and this will do for now, smooth graphics, beautiful horses. Amazing quests! Go for it! Honestly I really do love the game and it gives me joy to play but here in my opinion is some stuff u guys should think about changing!! So first off I just want to say this is my opinion and I hope u guys do these things in the game to make it even more fun!! So first instead of the star coins to buy the half off horses sale u should change it to the gold coincide so people do not have to go look everywhere for codes or buy coins. Especially if your new to the game it is like a gift from joining. And it would be amazing to do because then people don’t have to wait a year or too to get a new horse if u guys ever give us one. And it would make everyone happy because instead of star coins it could be the gold coins for the horse sale. Also when u first join u have to verify your account in my opinion once we join it should already be verified so if your new u can make new friends and chat with people and have a good time and then when it’s already verified u can already do codes or get horses for the sale with the gold coins. And it would be easier if a new player can’t verify and then they can’t make friends or chat and then they will leave and never come back on the game. But I hope u consider the horse sale horses have the gold coins instead of the star coins and to already have the account verified when u join so u can chat!! Thanks and hope u do the stuff ❤️

This game has something for everyone. There are lots of different types of riding styles anywhere from dressage to show jumping to barrel racing. in star stable there are hundreds of different races and thousands of quest to complete so even after years of playing you won’t be bored because there’s always new events that are hosted by star stable and new races and quests always coming out. The one complaint that I have heard from people is that it can get a little bit expensive and that is true Because star rider lifetime is round $70 or you can pay monthly which is somewhere between $5 and $10. And to buy horses and the game you have to use star coins which either have to be purchased or earned 100 per week from becoming star rider and 100 a week doesn’t go very far. most people end up having to buy star coins which is around $60 for just 10,000 which will get you around 10 horses so the game can get very expensive. I personally love the game and recommend to anyone even if you’re not really into a Horses there’s lots of fun quest are very entertaining and there are updates every single Wednesday which is very fun to check out because there’s always new horses released and new events going on. I love this game so much and it’s been playing for a while and hope everyone gets a chance to try it because it is my all-time favorite game and I am definitely giving it a five stars!

Hi!! I am a very long time fan of Star Stable. I’ve played since 2013. I remember the Lisa Returns teaser and hoping everyday that eventually the game could grow to look just how the animations of that teaser did. I remember the very first Matilda episode of the sss introducing epona! I have been as present as i can to watch this amazing game grow and expand wondrously.
A couple years ago I lost access to a pc and wasn’t able to keep up with the game. When I heard that the game was soon to be available on mobile I was, understandably, ecstatic. Since then, i’ve continued my attempt in keeping up with the game as well as balancing a newly adult life. I’ve since gotten a computer specifically made for gaming and was super excited to see the game on ✨the big screen✨ once again.
I was really excited to try the game with my gaming headphones and a bluetooth xbox controller.
You can take this as just a big novel of praise but something i think might be super exciting could be the ability to play sso on the pc and controlling it through a controller? i’m not quite sure how the technicalities work or if this is even something you guys have control over but I just wanted to at least bring it up through the reviews just in case!!!
If all else, please just take this review as a token of appreciation and long time commitment to an amazing game that is most definitely out of my age range now 😂😂 !!

The game was pretty good at first, although there was an agitating glitch where you dismount your horse and it gives you the horse control options, and you couldn’t move except for forward and back. I played for some time on there, and it’s hard to do races and training so I don’t recommend doing that. Then I had an issue where I couldn’t even join the game. I would click play and the play button would load then give me a black screen and then kick me out of StarStableOnline . I contacted the SSO team through the SSOM app, and they got back to me really fast! I’m not gonna say names because I don’t really have permission too. BUT, a girl emailed me back and suggested it was maybe an internet problem, and she gave me a few things to do. I tried them, and they didn’t work, so I emailed them and told them that it still didn’t work. They got back to me in LESS THAN 20 MINUTES! Then there was a guy, and he gave me a list of things to do and I tried them and it worked. I think my phone was having a glitch because the list was more of like… phone-glitch-thingys? 😶 Anyway, I’m really surprised at how nice, friendly, fast, and helpful they were! Most companies aren’t like that anymore, so I appreciate it. Five Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
