hi the app is not letting me log on it says unable to complete your request try again later or visit mercurycards dot com and that site is forbibben

Every transaction I make locks my card. The last time I called to unlock it they told me I have a verbal password set on my account. The only problem is I never set up any verbal password. Very disappointing after seeing so many positive reviews.

Fraud charge balance they won’t remove

REPORTING TO CFPB right now! Called 8 times now to remove a fraud charge of $421 from a target in another state. System or person hung up after 40 minutes each time. The second charge was blocked when I got notification via text. I am in escrow so my balance should be and needs to be zero. I can’t even get a temporary credit. Opening a dispute is useless. 2nd issue: Bungee America charged $248 which I disputed. I cancelled the charge 6 hours after my minor went online ordering a service never rendered. Mercury lies that the vendor said I used the services. Not true. Vendor I did offer to extend the tickets a few months but my son lives in Portland and won’t be back until next summer. This does not constitute services rendered. Even though it states no refunds, there’s a 24 hours to cancelation by law for online or phone orders plus my son is under age. I did not make the order. I do not recommend this card after this experience! I will be closing this account. I have too many accts not being used and don’t need an annual fee.

Read this before you apply

I currently own a card with Mercury. They target people with low credit score, and at first it is good because it really helped with the credit. However, this company does not give increases to your credit, they are not registered like other credit card companies, QuickBooks doesn’t recognize them, nerd wallet doesn’t recognize them, and it takes them forever to report your credit changes. For a beginner with very very crappy credit this is a good card service. They do not protect the customers from fraud, in fact or blatantly apathetic about it. So when you apply you are applying for a card to build your credit and nothing more. Whatever they start you out it is what you will stay at for years. It has already been two years for me and still no credit increase and I can’t connect it to my QuickBooks like I can with the other ones. So think twice before you apply for this company

New oculus update is terrible.

The oculus update and it’s features do not work for my life style. I understand why it was done but should be a separate application. Or a feature that can be off/on. The old version was straightforward and with less steps to pay. This app design has confused me about my statement close dates etc it was saying I was past due but then it said I was not. Either way I will stop using the card. Due to the poor app design. Your poor design will not undo what I have built!!
