This is a really well done app, that is lightweight and encourages some really good practices around CV/resume writing. It helps make it easier to get a resume done and to keep the information organized and updatable. I also appreciate that it can help with rewriting suggestions, although I do look forward to those suggestions improving over time as AI gets better. One somewhat minor issue is that on the Resume Scan feature, it shows me errors that don’t actually seem to be there. Specifically, it says that I’m starting Career Bullet Points with the word “I” instead of an action verb, and yet I carefully inspect every one of my bullet points and none of them start with the word “I,” although some do start with action verbs that start with the letter ‘I’.

After working on a couple of different iterations with ResumeBuilder , I put my CV/resume into a CV assessment tool online, and it gave feedback that I should use more action verbs (not managed), less bullet statements, and focus more on achievements.

I cannot figure out how to change the template of my resume. I like ResumeBuilder so far but if you can't change templates I do not think it is worth the money. I purchased the Pro version. App support doesn't seem to work either

Really like how easy it is to use. Examples are helpful just wish that you could customize a bit more. Really wish it would save to file type of choice rather than pdf.

I am familiar with writing a resume but ResumeBuilder made it so much easier as far as formatting and including enough information. I will continue to use it.

I wish I started with CV Engineer first. It as painless and professional a product as you could hope to find.

I do wish I had the option to save file as a word document but aside from that A+ a soon as I have some dollars I will be purchasing the $7.99 option. Thanks you guys!

So I have just started using this I don’t have a interview yet but I know I will soon thanks to ResumeBuilder! This is so amazing I highly recommend it to ANYONE who needs to make a Resume

Still job hunting, so can’t comment on the efficacy of the resulting resume. ResumeBuilder is easy to navigate, gives examples from a variety of fields to give you guidance on what to include, and doesn’t lock features behind a paywall. Would recommend to others looking for help with their resume, and this is one piece of free software I intend on paying for.

Couldn’t sleep one night so was in bed perusing jobs and saw an opening I dug. Was too lazy to get out of bed and get computer downstairs so I downloaded ResumeBuilder and had a great looking resume in ten minutes. 👍🏼👍🏼

Really nice simple templates. I hate creating resumes but ResumeBuilder made it easy. Honestly helped me get job offers faster. I just wish there was a way to add and save more than one resume. Hopefully that update will come out soon.

I used the free version, I was worried that it wouldn’t go well since I wasn’t paying for it. But honestly, this worked out great! I highly recommend ResumeBuilder to any one looking to build or update their resume.

Was going to spend hundreds of dollars to have someone else create my resume. Used this builder with the AI feature and it was too easy. Got a job offer immediately. I didn't even get out of the parking lot before they called me back in for an on the spot interview. Got the job.
