After downloading HappyBob (on the recommendation of a friend) I was very excited to show it to my 8 year old type 1 diabetic daughter. At first she was overjoyed by the colors, fun choices of different faces and voices, and to hear fun comments with each BG test value. However, after 15 mins of using it we deleted it without regret. HappyBob almost made my daughter cry by repeatedly telling her how “bad she was at taking care of herself” or how “she obviously doesn’t care about herself enough to stay in her target”. Keeping an 8 year old in their BG target range all day long is dang near impossible. HappyBob may be fun for older teenagers or young adults but for young kids, save yourself from needing to comfort your child and do not download!!!!!

Your app was just shared on a few of the FB groups as an alternative way to view blood glucose. Those that shared it had been using it for some time, so it was free to them. When the rest of us tried to install it, we were met with a subscription message. I would happy pay $1-2 a month for HappyBob, but not $5-6. Others were mentioning the same thing. If you lower your price, you will get more customers, which will offset the loss you get with your high price.

HappyBob is free to download but now in order to use it you have to pay a subscription. Happy bob used to be completely free to use. Being a diabetic is pricey enough as it is and now in order to have a fun app to help track you have to pay for it? Well I guess I’m deleting it for good. Not fair at all to start charging for something that used to be completely free.

Hi HappyBob helps me with taking care of my blood sugar and I have in joyed HappyBob but the only thing I did not like is that you have to pay 50 dollars for every year of course that isn’t really bad but I’m always mad seeing it say I have to pay but overall it was fun but please lower your prices a lot more

I love HappyBob. I think it’s funny. But it’s absolutely TONE DEAF to start charging for different versions. HappyBob is made for diabetics, and if you’re a diabetic you KNOW how expensive it is to survive. So for an app that’s supposed to lighten the mood or give support, it’s very disappointing to see you want to charge for different versions.

With many 3rd party CGM clients accessibility isn’t an option. The devs of Happy Bob went above and beyond. They not only fixed Voiceover issues, they fixed them quickly and asked me to test the Apple Watch app for VO compatibility. Great job and Happy Bov helps take the stress out of daily diabetes management.

It is fun to see Bob’s various quips during the day. On the main graph, the Y axis normally shows BG; but when I toggle it, the Y axis shows Cals but the graph remains the same.

How would Dex know anything about Calories - consumed or burned - (assuming that’s what it means)? Or what DOES it mean?

I cannot explain how much I love HappyBob!!! You can tell that it was created by people who have real experience and understanding of what living with diabetes is like. I feel encouraged when my BG is both in and out of range and Bob’s comments about my blood sugar always make me smile, no matter how many times I see them. I’ve lived with T1D for 17 years and this honestly is one of my favorite management tools I’ve used.

With his help I can keep better track of my sugars and for the times I forget to eat or bolus he is always there to remind you of your numbers.

Like HappyBob. Keeps me grounded so I don’t think I can ‘trick’ my condition. Funny yet serious since diabetes is no joke. Keeps me on my toes. Have no idea how to get 500 plus stars…

I just love HappyBob so much! It’s almost a competition who can outdo the other people who have HappyBob ! It encourages us to eat right and everything that comes with it to ensure a good BG. Thanks for making this fun!

I love HappyBob it helps me with my blood sugar and his comments make me laugh, when my blood sugar is high or low. I can tell this game was made to help people with there diabetes and the creator has experience with dealing with diabetes.

HappyBob is so much fun and makes having diabetes a little less depressing!! I think you should be allowed to use the stars to earn ways to customize happy bob. I think that would be cool!

I am a type one diabetic that loves HappyBob! It's hilarious and helpful because it because it tells me i'm high or low in a mean but funny way in the snarky mode. In happy mode it keeps me positive even if i'm high or low. In Karen mode it's a Karen. And that's why I love HappyBob.

I am a type 1 and my brother showed me it yesterday and he said it was for my type 1, so I logged in and tried it and I have had such a great time with it. He has cheered me up when I’m not feeling good when I have a roller coaster. It has made me very happy. I love HappyBob.

I downloaded HappyBob after seeing it on a post on Instagram and I had know idea what all it did. I think it’s absolutely hilarious and I love it! I love the snarky remarks that make me laugh because my sugar is always high and the change is fun. My mom and I both love HappyBob , thank you!!

Other diabetes management apps are boring and can be anxiety-inducing. Happy Bob is exciting and feels more like a game than an app to help monitor a disease. HappyBob is easy to set up and connect, it’s star system motivates and rewards, and snarky Bob is hilarious. I prefer Happy Bob hands down to similar apps that I’ve used in the past.

I have been unable to use HappyBob , I did reach out for support via email and received pleasant assistance, unfortunately it was not successful. I use Dexcom & iphone.
