Get fit with support

I went in search of an app that could help me get focused on exercise that I could learn to do safely, enjoy and make progress. I decided to give this app App a try & so glad that I did. Although I know the basics of eating healthy, the brief but informative nutritional info that is provided daily has helped me to refocus on healthy choices. The guideline is not complicated making food choices easy!
I love that I have a coach & he is providing me with exercise options that fit my needs & goals. The instructors give clear instructions & demos for the exercises. And I love that I am able to do this all at home, which has made it so much easier to meet my goals. There is also a support group to encourage & cheer you on.
Mighty benefits people post bariatric surgery, people wanting to loose weight, people wanting to gain strength & flexibility, no matter the age or fitness level.
One recommendation would be to make available the cost of Mighty easier to know. But they do offer a feee trial period. I feel as though it is cost effective for the services provided.

Perfect!

I was looking for an exercise program I could do at home. And I wanted to lose weight, but I was assuming they’d be separate issues and maybe non existent. this app Health offers so much. I thought I knew nutrition, but they had the most up to date information that was interesting and new to me. So helpful. I eat better now, feel better and have lost 10 pounds. Love their exercise programs as well. I get up early so I can get it in every day. Yes, some days I’m not feeling it, but I push myself and have no guilt the rest of the day. Also there are many classes, educational readings on topics pertinent to women my age. All science based. My coach is awesome also. Tee is her name and she is encouraging and offers suggestions and insights. This program is a bargain in my mind!! Invaluable and I’m so grateful. ❤️

Mighty Health mighty fun

The only reason I am giving four stars is that I can’t really afford this wonderful app. There was a flash sale on Apple, but I somehow missed it. Now, don’t get me wrong, the yearly subscription price is not out of line with other apps, but if you can’t raise the entire yearly amount (which is 25% of my fixed monthly income) the monthly option is almost twice the annual.

But money aside…love that you can get a workout that fits your physical capabilities. Because of cancer, chronic Lyme and dish syndrome, I have to do mostly seated exercise, and they are there for you. My coach Lindsay is positive, helpful and upbeat. The nutrition advice is simple but sound. Definitely worth it for 50 and up.

I also like the this app day concept as I do well with streaks. I do wish you could customize exercise a bit (I use my cubii elliptical daily), but other than that I enjoy Mighty , the groups and the target audience.

A few things to change

I use the daily burn app. I’m 60, and thought I’d try this, because one concern I had with DB was it’s live exercise option was not always a good fit for someone my age. I like the concept of Mighty. Didn’t like: the use of BMI to assess body health - it’s a poor and very unreliable way to judge someone’s physical needs - due to the fact that it’s often very unreliable for those who are not in the average range ( very short, or very tall). After answering all Mighty questions designed to personalize my workout, I was assigned a coach half my age, and not given the option to choose another. Personally, I think all the coaches should be 50 or older. It just makes sense that they’d have a better understanding of age related exercise issues, and a far greater interest in helping someone my age. I decided to stay with DB, and deleted Mighty. Keeping an eye on it though to see how responsive the creators are to their customers.

Fit by Fifty?

If you are like me, you are out of shape and the exercising in many apps is so defeating! I don’t and never will “look like them” and can’t “move like them” either. this app Health is much more my pace and makes me feel like I can succeed. The food logging is super easy! Just truly type what you eat and your coach goes in behind you and marks the log and you get a notification to review and either improve or get a “great job”! I don’t feel like I spend SO much of my day in an app learning and logging!! My coach and I text as often as I want/need. I can text when I think of something even if it’s 3am and she’ll get back to me the next business day. Love my check ins from Margo! The community is welcoming as well. Well, gotta go and and make my day a this app day!!

I believe this is what will help me get out of the rut I’ve been in. Trying to get a healthier lifestyle takes work and commitment but having Mighty and now the people behind Mighty has been exactly what I need. From healthy mindset tools to nutrition and helpful information as well as the many different types of workouts available from chair yoga to workouts.. there’s something for everyone!! I have a coach who texts me regularly to check in on my progress or just to be my cheerleader when I need the push. Also the people who are on the same journey are awesome and authentic about goals. Together we can do anything. Mind, body, spirit.. this is the place to be!

Amazing

That is the only word I can use to discribe Mighty. It has opened a whole new world for me and has connected me with so many others that are facing the same challenges I am. I have made some great progress in the time I have been using it. I can tell I am getting more healthy every day. It has also given me so much great information on how to get more healthy. The exercises are taylored to someone in my situation that wants to get moving and regain some flexibility. I have a wonderful coach who always makes time to answer my questions and help me with my personal plan. Mighty is very user friendly which is important to those who are maybe now so tech savvy. I am really enjoying it and would suggest it to any over 50 who wants to get more healthy.

Enjoying Might Health

I enjoy a this app Health app. My coach Tee, she is always checking to see if I have any questions or needs. I love the workouts so easy on my joints. I enjoy tracking my progress, exploring the different educational classes and the Might Community page; messaging other MH members, sharing recipes, progress, set back and back on track. At this time I’ve been losing more inches than weight. I feel great, and seeing the transformation. I would definitely recommend to all… if you don’t feel different in one week, that means you’re not giving it your all. Try it you’ll love it.

I love Mighty Health

I waited to write a review until I had used Mighty for 4 months. I wanted to know if I would stick with it. The two most valuable aspects of this program for me are the coach and the variety of workouts. My coach is encouraging and fun to interact with. He cheers me on, offers advice and answers questions. The workouts are at many different levels of ability and I have been able to find enough that is tailored to what I need and my abilities Some workouts are quite difficult, some quite easy and some just right. I’m very pleased with my investment in this app health. Give it a try!

Back in the game

I lost control of myself during this pandemic.
I’m enjoying this program very much for a lot of reasons. The personal coach is a motivating must for me. I feel like I’m doing this with somebody. I can motivate myself for awhile, but I want this to be a healthy life style change. Not just reach a goal, quit and go right back to the beginning. I like the check it off your list and I’m done for the day.
I love the no processed food idea, and I absolutely love that I don’t have to measure, weigh every bite for my food log. I can’t believe I am exercising every day. It feels great!

So far, so good

I think you get out of something what you put in. If you utilize Mighty , you will find it very helpful. I like that the coach is available and checks in, but isn’t in your business 24/7. The workouts are perfect for what I need. Also, I over-estimated my work out frequency and within 12 hours of asking, they were changed for me! I got to interact with the creator of Mighty in one of the social zoom events and was so happy to have done it. It made it more personal and I felt his passion for what he has created. Thank you!

Just what I wanted

I took a chance and paid for the yearly membership, hoping I would use it more if I paid up front. I have not been disappointed! Tee was assigned as my coach and she checks in, listens and is never pushy. She always answers any questions promptly. The workouts are so easy to take with me as I travel. There is one trainer in particular that has workouts that really make a difference for me. Tee was able to suggests other programs that this trainer leads. I’ve recommended this app Health to friends. Love it!

Helpful and encouraging app

I’ve been using this since November and had great success with building better habits and attitudes toward my eating exercise and overall health in general. Love the messages from my mentor encouraging me to be focused on my big why and questions she asks to get my thinking “on track” to be successful. The messages are timed well and not daily so I really pay attention and the various daily tasks are very easy to do. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants encouragement that’s easy to access.

I love this health program!

I joined this app Health at 49, right after surgery on my broken elbow. My coach and the health tracks he put me on helped me feel like I was being proactive in my journey towards better health even as I recovered from surgery. The workout videos make it clear how to modify the exercises depending on your comfort/pain level. And as an added bonus—I have learned how to eat healthier! this app Health helped save me during a low point, both physically and emotionally, and continues to keep me on the right track. Awesome

I have probably tried every diet and exercise app there is and this is the first one that makes sense. No counting calories, macros or points. Just learning how to eat healthy foods. Also the exercise routines are great for us more “mature” folks. They are challenging but not so hard that you can’t get up off the floor when you are done. I also love having a coach that checks in on me every few days. I think it’s so worth the money and I am looking forward to losing more weight and getting healthy.

Finally!

I finally found a program that actually works. I have tried so many diet plans that work for a while but the weight just came back. This is a total lifestyle plan. Weight loss, workouts, support and coaching. It’s an entire community. You can reach out to other people struggling just like you and cheer each other on. I recommend this to anyone over 50. The workouts are designed to be modified to your ability. This is wonderful.

Mighty Health

The workouts are great. They give me time to follow so that I am in the correct position. Am really liking all the thing Mighty offers. I will say that the step counter does not count my treadmill steps correctly but I know what I am doing so does not really matter to me.
Have only had for a little over a month but am feeling better and have lost a little weight. Want to get more into the blogs and groups. Still exploring all Mighty offers but am very pleased.

Jump starting my life

Since the pandemic started I have been lazy and not working out. Also eating like a weight lifter. Before I was involved with silver sneakers at the Y.
I found this program on the internet last week and decided it was what I needed. So…I joined that day and have really been thrilled with it. I have tried everything! As a smaller woman before Menopause, I was totally unprepared for the changes in my body as I approached middle age. You also receive constant information on nutrition and healthy eating. It’s great knowledge and helps to keep me focused on better food choices and eating habits. Mighty also provides other valuable lessons on many topics that effect our health such as sleep, anxiety, living alone & motivation. There are many topics for the 55+ age group! I love the workout choices and making my own exercise plan for what I need. My coach is great help here too. There is definitely something for everyone. The progression is great! I deal with knee problems that have restricted my ability for aerobic exercise. this app Health offers perfect workouts from chair to low impact to joint strengthening. Fit my need

I’m trying to stay as youthful & strong as possible which can be tricky when you’re 71 years young. Mighty is easy to use, & because it’s internet based, I can take it easily along on our RV travels. I like that they keep the nutrition part easy to follow. Love checking off boxes every day to see what I’ve accomplished. The instructors are easy to follow, & I like that they give you variations if you feel that you can “up” your workout.

Mighty Health is great!

I have been using the this app Health app for 6 months now. I absolutely love it! I led a mostly sedentary depressed life before starting Mighty. Now I walk 40 minutes per day and do a 30 minute exercise routine everyday. I am so much stronger and my mental health is better. I also have my own personal coach who helps me with my food choices and any other questions I have. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get healthy.

Mighty is truly amazing. It has everything you need from lists of foods that are good for you to delicious recipes and most of all exercise videos and challenges that are very enjoyable and challenging. Love it!

I love Mighty. My coach answers any question I have. I really love the chair exercises. They aren’t easy for me and since I can’t stand to exercise, I’m expecting them to take a while before they become too easy. The only con to Mighty is there doesn’t seem to be many lessons. I have noticed that they recently added more which maybe that happens when you’ve done a certain amount.

Great support

I’ve only been on the program for a little longer than a week. It is well laid out, supportive and helpful. It is educational and age focused in content for 55 plus. My only criticism is the classes I’ve taken so far are all led by juniors. They are trained and good at what they do- I would appreciate if some were older. It is encouraging to see a 70 or 80 year old exercising.
