I tried to sign up for Vaia and I got as far as making 4 Flashcards. I was having a great experience up to that point and then things went downhill fast. First, it said it did not save my 5th card. Then I figured I’d navigate back to the main folder and resume making my cards. Well I was duped because while it could count that 4 cards existed, it couldn’t locate them (I can’t look in the api network calls but that should be an indicator). Then I went to my account settings and it said it couldn’t find my information. I tried to logout and log in, during which it said it failed at deactivating my account (lol, wut?) and now I can’t login or sign up if I wanted to so… that’s the review. Seriously, if you’re reading this and you’re the developer and want to jump on a call to debug, I’m happy to do that and hopefully write a positive review.

I guess I should call NASA and ask them to write a flash card app. Obviously, it’s rocket science.

For the developer… Where to even start.

When I add a graphic, it is best to be able to see the graphic, and the multiple choice questions, all at the same time. And iPad Pro with a 4K display ought to be able to do this, yes? I think so. Stop GUESSING that everyone is using a phone, and understand that people use iPads, iPhones, Mini iPads, etc. ALWAYS keep the art and the questions, in FULL view. Learn mode vs quiz mode, portrait or landscape, all the possible answers and the art should be in view. I shouldn’t have to scroll up and down, trying to see both. How you won some design award is beyond belief.

Next, Why would someone want to create their own multiple choice vs just letting an app like Quizlet make up the choices? I have the answer, don’t call NASA. The reason I’d want to make up my own multiple choice is so I could describe “WHY” the answer is correct or incorrect. To accomplish that I’d need to be able to add the choices, and add a follow up when the correct answer is given, stating why it is correct, and having a follow up stating why the answer is incorrect. That would make Vaia 10,000 times better.

Anyone, and everyone does, can make a flash card into a digital app. The real skill here is to make Vaia go a little beyond what I can do with an actual flash card.

I really like the set up of Vaia. I started making all these flash cards for my grad classes and being able to put pictures in with the answers ins amazing.

But oh my god there are really bad glitches. They’ve had a couple updates since I’ve had it and it just seems to make the glitches worse! I’ll input a pretty long answer portion, go to add the picture, and the answer I wrote out DISAPPEARS! So frustrating and takes me even more time to do since I have to write it out twice. I’m tempted to switch apps because of it but all my stuff is there now. 😭 please fix the bugs!

I looked for hours to find a good app to build study material on and found this wonderful gem. The interface it great and easy to use and I can share my creations with my students. The only thing I noticed that bothered me a bit was that I could not rearrange my sub-sets to my study set. This could be operator error but other than that, it’s by far better than anything out there. Would easily give it 5-stars but only gave 4 due to the one issue.

Studysmarter is deff the best studyguide out there. The developer team did a great job🤪🤪 setting up Vaia that helps students access study material for all subjects online. Vaia makes studying way more effective and you will see improvements in school quickly after you start using Vaia

Huge help with all sorts of school problems. Got me through various school classes and online school in the last three years. They really had something for every problem I faced in school and had many tools to help me Study as effective as possible

Easy to use and very beneficial for those hard classes where the professor give you way too much homework and it seems impossible to finish all these different tasks. Give Studysmarter a chance and you will see how much Vaia benefits you

My friends and I discovered Vaia a long time ago but never really used it until we discovered the function of sharing index cards with your friends etc. Since then we exchange all our knowledge on our school exams via Studysmarter to help eachother out and to succeed as a group😇😇

It is such a big help with all school work! the premium subscription is not expensive at all and you really get your moneys worth with the premium account🥳I cant say the same of other Studyguide apps out there and THAT, among other things, makes Studysmarter so unique :)

Even after having french from 5th to 9th grade I couldnt speak a single word - or at least thats what it felt like - and I was really scared of failing french in 10th grade :/ So I downloaded Studysmarter to get some help with french ofc and it worked so so good for me :) in 10th grade i got a B in french and I even feel confident enough to speak quite a lot with french people

I have been searching for apps to help me study more and Studysmarter seems perfect for that. I am stunned by the amount of material and features they have online 😲 my favorite feature by far is the function where you can mark all the information you want to in a text.

If anyone of my fellow students asks me how they can get the grades I get or what I do to get as good grades as I get I always say two things: first of all i tell them that I feel honored and it really makes me proud that they approach me for help and second of all I tell them that the only thing they have to do to get better grades is downloading Studysmarter in Vaia store

I frequently use the desktop app since about one year ago and that really boosted my grades. Basically I go through my lecture slides with the desktop app and mark the important stuff. The mobile app is a really good extension because I can now study my flashcards while I‘m on the train, even if I only have limited time or no place to sit down.

Vaia I have found is super helpful and I really recommend you to download it if you find your self struggling in school especially now during this time of crisis with online classes etc. having everything available online on Studysmarter has changed the way I approach hw etc.🥰🥰

I highly recommnd the use of Studysmarter to you if you are looking to improve your performance in school or especially in online class. I literally sat in the Zoom-classes and looked up the answers for the teachers questions in Studysmarters workbooks. This way I always know every answer and that helps me up my grades by a lottt!

Has everything you need for remembering and storing “your” notes! Great! Makes studying more organized.
Just hope that when you get a flashcard wrong, it would be easy to find instead of scrolling to find it. Especially when you have a lot of flash cards, it gets frustrating.

Vaia helped me with so so many difficult topics in my middle and highschool life! Whenever I struggeled understanding a certain topic in school I simply typed the topic in the search bar in the Studysmarter app and I quickly found one of their various explanations / examples of the topic. This has helped me a lot with getting the grades I wanted to get🤪

Y´all have to give Vaia a shot! If you dont want to pay for the Premium account right away than it is not a big problem as you already get a lot of features available for use in the free version! In the long run I think you should get the Premium acc for a even better experience

If you have troubles with Geometry or Algebra class just like I always had then i highly recommend to you Studysmarter. On every topic you might come across in school, they have many different approaches to try and explain the topic to you as understandable as possible. for me so far it has worked perfectly and Studysmarter got rid of all of my maths problems within weeks!

It is so annoying to sit in an online class and you know that nobody listens to the teacher who is saying random stuff that nobody understands... I found myself in that scenario just as many other students do, but of course I still want to get good grades etc. Studysmarter helped me so much with their online summarys, index cards ect. So for me there is no need to pay attention in these booring online classes I just read a summary on the topic we are discussing in class and that helps me solve all the Homework assignments our teachers give us :)#
