I am being forced to use Adia for the CollegeBoard to be paid for proctoring SATs. I was sent an individual download link via email but the link does not work. When I click on download app link it flashes but has mo other response. I called the phone number provided, waited for 30 minutes only to be told to leave a voicemail. Left a voicemail and never heard back. That was over a month ago.
In the meantime, I have received multiple text messages offering support saying reply to this text or call help line. Have done all of those things and have not received any communication or support of any kind!

I was told I’d be able to work ASAP, but I’m still waiting for my onboarding process to finish (it’s been weeks). I get texts from them periodically about how I’m one step away from jobs I just need to finish one thing, but they never approve my information. It’s either a scam or bad business practice. I’ve had background checks come back in less than 12 hours from multiple jobs. The longest is 10 days, not weeks. I’ve already found a job and started working. Adia was supposed to fill in the gaps of the 2 weeks in between jobs, but it’s useless.
I’d recommend Adia to no one, since the promise of immediate work is incorrect and a flat out lie. If you need quick work go to Craigslist and find some manual labor jobs.

Good luck “On Boarding”! 🐟 Save yourself some of your precious time and privacy AVOID Adia! A lot of trouble and giving sensitive information not hear back from support. Sending me jobs but constantly telling me my “on boarding” process is not complete. They want references from a friend and then ask your friends divulge sensitive information as well?!
Threatened them with perjury if YOU didn’t fill out your application right?!
Asked my friend for sensitive information and digital signature feel sketchy. Deleted Adia after 2 weeks of what felt like constant fishing for my information. I gave them my SSN! Yeah, don’t make the same mistake I did.

AVOID Adia! Not sure why people are giving Adia five stars. The onboarding process took forever to complete. There was a problem with my completed I9 and I wasn’t notified until a week later when I called in because nothing was progressing on Adia . This delay caused me to lose out on the one job I applied for and the only reason I downloaded Adia. I have not seen any new jobs other than the one I applied for. They never respond to messages unless you call them. They don’t tell you information unless you call in and ask. The support reps are hard to reach and I constantly found myself having to call in multiple times in order to connect with someone. No email updates on your application progress, no updates on the position you applied for, nothing. I was guaranteed a position but was abruptly dropped from it a couple days later with no notification or explanation. Adia is a complete waste of time and a scam. Do not use!

I’m so disappointed in Adia and the way it functions. I used to to be able to pick up remote jobs almost daily without much of a problem. Now, Adia lags constantly. I’m only notified sometimes about new jobs. About 95% of the time that I am notified and I check, there are no jobs available. Staff can’t help with this issue. It is really disappointing because it did not used to be this way. Now, I just can’t pick up any jobs. Is it my phone? No, I had it checked out. Is it my connection? No, I ended up purchasing faster internet and that didn’t solve anything. I deleted and reinstalled Adia so many times and made sure to allow notifications. I hope no one else is having this issue.
Just thinking...since staff isn’t responsive about this and has been completely unhelpful, it might be their way of letting me go. Who knows what I did.

I don’t care about giving reviews, however the experience I had with Adia was terrible.
After going through the whole filling out information & interview process, I was told that there were no jobs currently in my area, but in a few weeks I should be seeing jobs populate. A few weeks later, I received a notification for a job. I accepted the job & Adia stayed that I was good to go for the job. However, I didn’t see it in “My Shift” category in the menu. I thought it was a glitch or whatever & I would see it pop up later. After making sure I was 100% available for my shift, I checked again, but still I seen nothing.
I got in contact with this app Support Team to figure out the situation. By the way, the person who helped me was very pleasant & super helpful. No complaints about the Support Team at all.
I was told that the job I selected was only a test from this app to make sure Adia was working correctly. Like what?? I should’ve been notified at least that it wasn’t a real shift. I thought it was very inconsiderate at bare minimum. I was reassured that jobs should be posted very soon. I’m not going to waste my time on it.
Again, I don’t care about posting reviews, however I don’t want anyone to unnecessarily waste their valuable time like I did.
Much love ✌🏾

When I initially started to set up my profile on Adia, things moved very quickly someone contacted me, via text message, letting me know the process and other basic info about how Adia works. I completed everything on the first day, but I now have been stalled during the everify step for almost three weeks and it’s very frustrating. I texted the number back after a week of waiting to be able to move to the next step of the on boarding process to ask if their was any reason things were taking so long and I was given a short brush off answer, which I didn’t understand, but felt as if I was not welcome to asking more questions. I now feel like Adia was a complete waste of my time and I’m concerned that I entered personal and sensitive information and I don’t know what that information will be or is being used for. The initial feelings of excitement have turned into disappointment. I even updated Adia last week thinking that may have been an issue with the process stalling, but still nothing.

Identity theft occurred with my social security number, on the dark web, several weeks after I signed up & inputted my social security information onto Adia. I can’t say for sure if it indeed was Adia that was not secure, or whoever has access to that information once it’s inputted into Adia , that’s iffy, but something like this has never happened to me before, & inputting my social security number information into Adia, is the only thing that was out of the ordinary for me, in all my 20 plus years of working & applying for credit. So, if it feels “iffy,” - it probably is. So, just be aware.

1st and foremost this app has the potential to be great but the reps are horrible. They will reach out at all times of night to get to you to work a shift and when you show up, no one will be at the work site and they won’t even compensate you for your time. They won’t pay you correctly. They constantly make mistakes WHEN THE TIMESHEET IS ELECTRONIC AND RIGHT THERE AT THEIR FINGERTIPS. They want you to wait a full other week to get paid. If you’re in Austin, Adia ain’t it. Try Wonolo. They pay everyday and it’s very easy to get ahold of support! this app needs to shut down and try it again because this is absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT USE Adia I REGRET USING IT. SCAMMERS!

TL;DR I did a job and I haven’t received my payment. After talking to multiple this app employees I’m not sure if I’ll ever receive my payment. Adia is a scam.
I have no idea why Adia is rated so high. They have close to no jobs and I still haven’t received payment on the one job I completed.
I participated in a study that was offered via Adia . When it was time to receive payment, I received only 25% of my pay so I called and messaged this app then called Facebook (the study I was participating in). Facebook got back to me immediately but there was no response from this app at all. It was only after Facebook contacted this app that this app contacted me.
At that point I spoke to someone who said my payment was going to be delayed because of some error on their end. Very frustrating but I waited until the day I was told the payment would arrive to see that it hadn’t. The payment still hasn’t arrived and I’m starting to think it won’t arrive at all.
If you’ve read this far then take this as a warning and don’t get this app. There are much better ways to finding side jobs and participating in research than this.

I just want to be able to search jobs in my area without having to give all of my personal info. Despite that I did create a profile but made the mistake of forgetting my password. Got locked out of my account and had to call support. Did that and was sent a reset link. When I clicked the link it gave me no other option but to open the link in Adia -which it DIDNT do. AGAIN I REALLY just want to be able to see what jobs are near me without having to mess with all this crap. As far as I can tell it’s not worth the trouble you have to go through JUST TO SEE IF THEY EVEN HAVE JOBS NEAR ME.

As much as I want to use Adia it’s just not working. When I first downloaded it I had problems creating an account. Instead I had to go straight to the Internet and create my account from there and it provided me a link to open Adia which is kind of silly. I was able to open Adia now that I had an account and that I was logged in. My only issue after that was the on boarding process. I completed all of the on boarding steps and for some reason it kept saying no Internet connection when I had Internet connection on my phone on my phone plus Wi-Fi going in the background. I’m a little bit upset because I was really relying on Adia and it’s a shame that it only works if you register your account through the website instead of through Adia . There’s quite a few bug issues that need to be fixed and if they are I believe Adia can really make huge progress with helping people find work.

I drove 2 hours round trip to do a 2 hour job that was “50/hr”. I was told they would direct deposit the money into my account but they didn’t. They never paid me... I talked to him on the phone about it and he said he’d talk to the billing department and get it sorted out. He then sent a text saying he had it figured out and I would be paid that day but I never was. I pressed the button to have him call me yesterday but he never did. This might seem like a handy app but beware, this is an illegitimate business ran by a sketchy guy.

Great app I currently work off several more apps which are a little more advanced but I book a gig with Adia only thing I didn’t like was there wasn’t and detail in Adia for the onsite contact and meeting place once onsite which would improve Adia a lot also offering upskilling to obtain more skills and more brand ambassador gigs as well team lead gigs would be great as well I think adida is a great app and with time and support will soar in the gig world

So it’s summer 2021 and I started using Adia beginning of June, my sign up was smooth and I was picking up gigs the next day. I got paid within a week sounds like a deal to me. My only complaint if any would be for more specific description and putting the weight of how much the jobs requires us to lift. also it would be nice if we could get an actual address or pin point so I can see how far the job is before picking it up l. Of course it had the mileage of how far it is. In conclusion Adia is legit and I got paid so do with that what you will.

I’m very worried that I’ve put my personal information into an app that is ultimately a scam. I’ve been reaching out every way possible to get feedback on the on-boarding process and nobody has contacted me back. I would not advise you use Adia with the hopes to work. It seems very cool with great opportunities to lure you in but I don’t have the faith it’ll work out. The “background check” was even approved too quickly in my opinion. Uber/Lyft takes weeks to be approved for BG checks and that’s a legit app you can sign up and trust via an app. I can only pray my information is safe after using this crap.

I just drove 30 minutes to go to a Microsoft research panel, the directions were terribly laid out and when I get there eventually right at the time I need to be no one’s there the lights are turned off the doors locked and when I try to check in on Adia it says please refresh the job to check the job status. And it’s been canceled last minute so I just wasted my time driving there in traffic wasted my gas wasted my money to not get paid, and now no one will call me back or return my calls or tell me what the heck is going on? I don’t understand this is not right and I just want to know what’s going on

this app has become my safety net. I have been working with this app for close to a year now and I thought I would never say this about any Gig type App but here it goes “I love it!!!!!” I’ve tried other gig type Apps in the past to my disappointment but this app is truly different. For one your payment is always on time(for me every Wednesday). For two if there is any issue with your payment it is quickly resolved by this app reps. Third I have never went without work with good pay and last but not least I use Adia in multiple states. So as a young single man who likes to travel a lot I use Adia to finance my travels. The flexibility you have is such a bonus to me that I can finally admit “I lov Adia”

Working for this app has been nothing short of amazing. The sign up process was quick and easy too. Once I was onboarded I started getting jobs right away and honestly it’s been a life saver during Covid. Their customer service is also outstanding. Any time I run into any issues Annie or Camille are quick to help and are always so kind. I can’t say enough good things about Adia and it’s amazing employees. With Covid I understand that there might not be as many jobs but I can’t wait to see what else I am able to do through Adia once things get back to some sort of normalcy. It’s definitely worth checking out and I recommend it to anyone I meet. Thank you this app so much for the incredible opportunity!!

Working for this app has been a great experience. Everything is done on your phone from getting work to checking in to checking out. You find out how much you earn for each day. You get notifications before your shift starts so you won’t miss or be late. You can also check your drive time and best routes to go. Quick response time when you ask any questions via the chat line. It’s been great working for this app and looking forward to working some more. The pay is excellent!! Thank you!!

Isn’t a passport photo and SSN more than enough proof? I mean, they run a background check too like any other employer should and does so. So why in the hell does this app require a friend to re-verify my personal vitals? What the hell does my friend have to get into my personal business? And this app must have just one person responding to all of the questions because I received no reply back to explain why this re-verification step is necessary.
If you guys need that rather useless step, then maybe you shouldn’t do the entire hiring process to begin with and just partner up with employers like Indeed and LinkedIn and post job ads only.
Update: they STILL haven’t responded to my multiple requests on why they have this policy in place.
That’s fine. Adia will probably end up as a flop anyway. With customer service like this, it will be a dud.

I’ve been waiting to get cleared for 3 weeks now, and nothing. I’m just looking for side jobs during my free time and it really bothers me that I submitted my information to this company! They show you events coming up to fool you, but you can’t work them because they haven’t cleared you. Why take my information if you’re not going to do YOUR part and clear me to work? Such a scam. Some friends and I all tried to use Adia and we’re all pending on different “on-boarding” tasks. I’m currently looking into it on a more serious level.

DONT FALL FOR THIS SCAM !! READ THIS BEFORE YOU SIGN UP!!!!!
I signed up for Adia because I was doing jobs on WONOLO WHICH IS COMPLETELY LEGIT thought I’ll sign up and see what it’s all about.
this app ask you for all your person information.
social security number
Birth certificate, ID. Any personal information they can get from you so they call steal your identity and have some one that CAN’T work in the USA be able to work under your name.
I signed up for Adia put all my personal information in & moments after the “ close friend verification” you will be locked out Of signing in.
A few seconds of Being locked out I had someone in the Cicero area in Chicago IL, try to sign in to my Apple ID what a coincidence right ?
The next day I stared receiving calls from Mexico!!
I've opened up an investigation this morning and if you put your personal information in Adia ill advise you to do the same.

I was going to apply but the reviews of not being paid and excessive documentation for the I9 is off putting. I’ll head the warnings from the others. I would like to inform people that if you are filling out an I9, this company does not need your passport AND your social security card. List A (passport) needs no further documents. If you give them your social security card for list C of the I9 then they do not need your birth certificate. Please make sure you are reading the instructions for the I9 and font give more than needed.
Ideally this should all be done at a notary office. They can be the “friend” who witnesses it too.

This is the worst app I’ve ever come across and I’ve had lot of side job type apps. I don’t even think they have any real people behind this. After waiting over two weeks for my background check to be “completed” (the background check website confirmed that my background check was cleared after 2 days) I emailed support more than 4 times and requested a phone call more than 3 times. I’ve been trying to reach somebody for at least a month now with no response. Deleted my account and Adia today.

I landed a new job thanks to Adia. Seven months in and I was hired to be a permanent event staff member for a professional soccer team.
My only complaint is that jobs in Dallas seem limited. However, I remain optimistic. Keep up the good work this app. If it worked for me, I know it can work for you.
Adia showed up when I needed it the most. And thanks to it I can finally once again say that I am happily employed.
How does this work is this a delivery app
I reserved gigs for aug.21 supposed to moody theater. They never told me what the address or what dress code is. It's already 24 hours before the shift. Gig start Sunday but nobody contacted me to give me any information for this gig. This is my first time using this app so I dnt knows if I shld just go their or cancel this gig. This is not professional at all.
They don’t pay the workers. And they don’t answer the phone. Do not download this wack ass app.
Not only have they not paid me for a full week's work, when they would pay for other jobs I did, they did NOT pay on the pay day time. You do know, that is both a State and Federal crime. If payday is on a Friday, and they delay and pay you on the next Monday, that is a Federal crime. For DOING work and not getting paid, that is also a crime. Customer Support is terrible - cannot get ahold of anyone. When I did, I was promised a call back before the close of business. Never got the call. Several weeks later when I did get a call back, it was because I told them the money better be there or I was going to sue. I received a call on Wednesday morning, and when I stated my position....WAIT FOR IT....the lady hung up on me, then "deactivated" my account. Thanks, Adia! Now, you have just given me more ammunition to sue you with. My bank account "deposits" show what days you paid me - NEVER on time which is a crime. Then the days I'm not paid for, that is a crime. Then to deactivate my account is trying to cover your tracks. Don't worry. It's called using a SCREENSHOT of all the things I have been documenting. Oh, did you think I'm stupid and not documenting? ...........I think I'm gonna buy myself a new car when all this is done. STAY AWAY FROM THESE IDIOTS.
Don’t work through this job app , they rip you off on your paycheck; they lie and put a certain amount that you will make on the job , but once you get paid it’s not even close to the amount they told you , that you will make once you have completed the job . Please don’t waste your time with this company. It’s hard to get in contact with them , you can be at work and clocked in they will send you a automated message saying we have detected that you clocked in not on the job site . When you are already clocked in and working at the job site .
I have the Adia app. I worked as a proctor for SAT test on June 5. I did all the requirements on the app. I have not received payment and nothing appears on my app. It took forever to finally get the app. This is riciduous.
