Glitching constantly

2022-05-23

I just downloaded HabitTracker because of the great user interface and Widget capability. However, it’s constantly glitching and adding more value towards all my goals. For example, I have a water goal and my bottles of water are 17oz each, so when I finish a bottle I put 17oz, right? If I close out of HabitTracker the Widget doesn’t update the information right away. No problem, I’LOL just wait for it to refresh and it should show the correct value I inputted. Nope wrong, it never updates and when I click on the widget to go into HabitTracker all of a sudden it says I hit my goal of 80oz and I’m at 85oz when I only put in one entry of 17oz. This is so frustrating why it cannot work properly. If I then click to reset the data for this goal for the day it puts it back down to 0 but if I close HabitTracker and re-click the Widget it magically has 85oz inputted again. This is a huge problem and I will be deleting unless this is fixed because it makes HabitTracker almost unusable when there’s so many problems with the Widget interface and HabitTracker recording accurate data in the first place. I tried to use it without using the Widget and it has the same problem when just using HabitTracker itself. This needs to be fixed.

SLAY

2022-06-24

HabitTracker is so good and was so helpful in keeping track of the good habits I wanted to take up in 2022. I was trying to completely flip my life and be the best version of myself, but I didn’t know where to start. Like I said HabitTracker was incredibly helpful in aiding and prodding me to start my journey. HabitTracker itself works so well and is very easy and effective to use. It let you start a new habit whenever and there are so many options. It even lets you see how well you did completing them throughout the week. When you slide the slider it is so satisfying and when you complete all of your good habits for the day it gives you an awesome little animation that makes me feel so accomplished. HabitTracker also works on my new apple watch ⌚️ series seven.

Bye guys! Love you, I hope you have a wonderful day and hope that this helps with your decision.

It’s pretty good

2022-07-25

So I just recently downloaded HabitTracker and it’s great. Overall HabitTracker is very good and I like how you don’t have to pay if you don’t want to. You can do pretty much everything the same even if you pay or not. The only difference is you get like better notification. I’m trying to keep this short, but I only have 4 goals/ habits set. So I don’t know what really happens when you do a larger amount. You have a large variety of habits to pick from. I personally use the drink water, stretch, exercise, and eat fruits. I use these to try to keep a healthier body. You can set times you want to be notified and times of how longer or what days. Overall it is a very good app and I recommend it to anyone who needs a app for this kind of stuff. Before I found HabitTracker I tried many different apps and you had to pay for over 3 goals. So once I downloaded this I was very impressed. One minor problem of mine is that you can’t write/ make your own goals. But there is a large variety to pick from so there should be no problem of finding a goal to set. It’s a great app and if you do want to pay for the premium it’s very cheap. I recommend thanks for the great app !!!

Fantastic!

2022-08-26

I absolutely adore HabitTracker. It’s well constructed and very easy to use (and the interface looks super duper clean). It’s very easy to personalize - you can toggle dark mode, change habit colors, adjust the home screen icon, etc. I’m a very checklist-type person and I used it for about an hour before I bought the pro version. It makes it so easy go manage my day. Even the little things like brushing my teeth or eating 3 meals a day I’ve put into HabitTracker and it has made every day feel more routine. And other things like taking medication or going to bed early, which might not come so easily, now have little “streaks🔥” by them. It helps me a lot to keep myself in check and to motivate me. I’ve been using HabitTracker for just over 2 weeks and I literally swear by it.

Helpful and Easy to use!

2022-09-27

Just downloaded HabitTracker. I like the interface and I like how customizable things are even down to the color and the icon of each habit you make. I think the $4.99 is worth it to be able to add as many habits as you want.
One improvement that would be helpful is being able to look at what your next day looks like. Being able to see my habits/to-do list for the next day would be nice, or selecting a day on the calendar and see what you have to do that day. For example I wanted to check and make sure that I was going to get a monthly reminder for paying rent next month, and having the ability to look at the habits for days ahead would have been helpful.
Thank you!

Ridiculously well thought out

2022-10-28

I downloaded HabitTracker because it seemed to be the only tracker I could find that supported a widget. I’ve been using the widget like crazy, and I LOVE the attention to detail. For example, when you complete a habit, HabitTracker resorts all habits so that the ones you haven’t started on yet appear at the top. You can set the priority of habits in the Habit Manager, so that your most important habits appear first. Also, I love the fact that habits are sorted the same way in the widget. Because the widget I use only has space for 6 habits, having HabitTracker resort my habits let’s me see which ones I haven’t started on yet in the Home Screen while saving screen real estate. Thank you for making such an incredible app and widget!

This is soooo helpful!!!

2022-11-29

Never forget a goal again. If you want to set goals AND actually accomplish them, you
need HabitTracker. It’s free! There is a paid version, but I haven’t even figured out what the point of that is cause the free version does everything I need and more. I have put 17 habits in so far and haven’t seen anything about a limit of any kind with the free version. The homescreen widgets are fabulous and keep your habits at the forefront of your mind. HabitTracker lets you put timed reminders on individual habits and also gives the option of setting an alarm to remind you to make sure everything has been accomplished. It puts together a weekly report for you that details your number and percentage of habits done, your best streak, and your best day. Love, love, love HabitTracker!

The only complaint I have is that the habits aren’t very editable. Once you put them in, only a few things can be changed. Some of the things that can’t be changed are things that I wish could be, like the start date, which day of the week, etc. I have had to delete and re-enter habits because of this, but it’s not a huge deal cause it’s so easy to input habits.

I love this app

2022-12-30

I love HabitTracker! I was trying to get an habit where I could put different goals for myself and that would help me stay motivated. I tried different apps such as “done”, and “strides”. Both of the apps made me pay money if I wanted to add more than 3 goals. I thought HabitTracker would be the same, but it’s not. You can add as many goals as you would like and all of it is free. There is NOTHING you need to pay for. It is aesthetically pleasing with al the colours and tells you how close you were to completing your goals if you didn’t finish all of them. I can add how much water I drank and how much exercising I did because those are just some of the goals I put. I definitely think you should get HabitTracker if you want to stay on task with your goals.

BEST. APP. EVER.

2023-01-31

I have never written a review of an app before but I sought out writing this 5-star review because HabitTracker is seamless, aesthetically beautiful, and extremely helpful for me! I’ve downloaded every single other habit tracker and have tested their free trial, and even with paid features I have been disappointed. This is free for all of its features and it looks just like a cute bullet journal design like I’ve been wanting. I originally downloaded HabitTracker to make sure to take my daily RX but now I use it to track things like my water and dairy intake, whether or not I refrained from Starbucks that day, and brushing my teeth (sometimes we do be forgetting). HabitTracker is my little buddy I take around with me on my phone that sets off an adorable chime when I complete a task. Love it.

Simply Amazing

2023-03-04

The simplicity and beauty of HabitTracker is much more than surface deep. It functions as though somebody had already encountered the terrain of daily needs and set up the perfect companion app for organizing things. I really like how the calendars look. They display individual calendars for each habit. HabitTracker has a ton of really good visual cues!

I think Batman himself would enjoy HabitTracker! It has a memo log for everything, great insight statistics that aren’t over bearing and provides you with enough customization to keep your habits from looking identical.

I like how each habit has its own custom alert to remind you throughout the day. Maybe a quote or some reason that motivates you! Each habit is different so seeing unique reminders really goes a long way.

I like how the art is hand drawn and has the feel of a log book. That makes me feel at home with HabitTracker. I know good craftsmanship when I see it. This is it! Anybody can design an app but it takes real skill and CARE to design an app that covers all the pain points of habit builders.

I give HabitTracker 100 stars 🤩. Thank you for creating HabitTracker! All who were involved in the process really did an awesome job! Premium member for life now.

Absolutely recommend

2023-04-02

I was looking for something like this and I did a lot of downloading on a ton of apps to find something that suited what I needed. A majority of them were either too simple and didn’t have enough features, or had limited your features unless if you paid for a subscription. This one however, had many features that made it extremely useful and yet still easy to use. While this also asks you to pay for more features, it is incredibly cheap given that you can pay $5 for a lifetime subscription. There are a few bugs and it did crash once, but it wasn’t really a big deal since once everything is set up, you’ll mainly use HabitTracker to track yourself. I recommend.

BEST HABIT CHANGER APP EVER

2023-05-04

I was scrolling through Instagram and saw an app that was like this but it wasn’t free. I liked the idea of HabitTracker helping people stop the bad habits and make new good habits. So since I don’t like paying for apps I looked in HabitTracker Store of habit builders free and found habit. So I downloaded it and it was free and it allowed me to make lots of good habits that I can track and start remembering good habits.
Habit allows you to make some habits you would like to make into habits and you can set reminders and track how many of the habits you have done in the past week. I eventually started getting into a good routine of all the habits and every time I saw the notification I was like well I don’t want to lose my streak of days of doing the habit and eventually I was doing the “good habits” and it really made my life really organized.

Totally awesome

2023-06-04

I’m not one that typically writes app reviews but I must take a moment to share that HabitTracker is super fantastic! I’ve tried a few others (free version which was limited to 3 habits) and could not get the user friendliness out of them that comes with this one. Even when I had a question the customer service was super quick and provided directions to help address what I needed. I can’t say enough great and wonderful things of the functions and on top of all that greatness comes the price of free. Don’t waster your time elsewhere just use this it is truly a worthwhile download. As they get feedback I’m sure more functions based on user ideas and preference will be developed. One idea whoops
Be to get some trending charts to see progress you’ve made. It may be already be there or in development so I’ll just say I’m still looking. Loving HabitTracker . Thank you!!

Behavior Reduction

2023-07-06

I wish there was a way to make goals to reduce behaviors! You can still largely use the features of HabitTracker to track the habit, but the "goal" presentation looks weird when it's a habit you actually want to decrease, like smoking or drinking or something. HabitTracker makes you pick values for habits that "go up" - for example, you can not set a habit to zero. A different idea is to focus more on "going down" would be like if you had a limit of 3x opportunities throughout the day and each time you engage in the habit, you slide (left) one away from the limit you set. That, or like you get a warning or motivational message or something when you've used up all your opportunities if swiping right to count them. Ultimately, the biggest thing would be that it wouldn't still count as a streak if you went over the goal value you set for the habit.

really good!

2023-08-06

apologies for spelling and grammatical errors

first off, this is one of the only apps that allowed me to add enough tasks to be useful to me without paying. honestly Id think about supporting HabitTracker just because of that, but down to the actual functions

easy to use 9/10
its vary clear what you need to do but some functions could be placed better

habits to track 10/10
HabitTracker suggest habits to add which is nice, and when making your own habits you get lots of FREE and cute emoicons to add next to the action. all it takes to mark down that you completed the habit is a button and a number keypad if that habit can be done multiple times.

notifications 10/10
I personally HATE notifications but HabitTracker does give lots of options on notifications, when to send them, what habits for, etc. you can also just completly turn them off which I loveeeee

visuals 10/10
HabitTracker is just super clean and its not overwhelming by any means, you can customize your habit colors too, if you want an even cleaner look

data summary 8/10
being completely honest, I barely look at this feature but Im sure its useful for some people. it seems convenient being able to see how many times you completed a task over a certain amount of time, and the canender seems easy to use.

Im not sure who the developers are of HabitTracker, but props to them.

SO BENEFICIAL

2023-09-07

I really enjoyed HabitTracker because it kept me organized and it was actually very exciting to use. It felt really nice to check things off throughout the day because I felt like I had my life together even if I didn’t really have it all together. I recommended HabitTracker to my friend and now she is enjoying it as well! You can check on each others status and it a good way to keep each other motivated! My goals throughout the day are: make my bed, drink water, have a full breakfast, stretch, exercise, write in my journal, and sleep early. It’s a little tough to sleep early because I have so much homework all the time but it’s certainly helping me fall into a pattern. In my Abnormal Psychology class, we constantly talked about anxiety and HabitTracker could genuinely help with that because it makes you feel like you are in full control of what you do throughout the day and it gives you the power to be organized.

The most intuitive and lovely habit app

2023-10-09

I’ve never written a review before, and I rarely find apps I like enough to buy the premium version, but I bought this one within the first few days of using it and am so glad I did. It’s highly customizable but easy to understand, and the interface is beautiful. The scheduling and frequency targets are more flexible and more clearly explained than in any other app I’ve tried. Habits are easily grouped with tags and each one can be given a custom unit name. Now that home screen widgets have been added, I love it even more! The only things I’d like to see added in the future are the ability to export data to CSV and the option to create negative habits (e.g. for calorie tracking—I’d like to be able to hit my target by staying under a certain number rather than exceeding it.) The developer does a great job at keeping HabitTracker updated & consistently improving it, so maybe those options will be added in the future, but I’m still very satisfied overall.

Useful, Motivational, and Well-Made

2023-11-09

After downloading several habit-tracking apps that were a complete failure, I came across this unique app. I downloaded it for free and it hasn’t bothered me asking me to buy the premium options. HabitTracker is so useful to set goals and habits, become more productive and organized, and receive personalized, motivational reminders to complete your daily habits. It includes so many features you just can’t get out of another app for free. You can create new habits, assign them certain days, and set reminders with motivational messages. I like the fact that the habits can be reorganized, filtered, and color coded. HabitTracker even includes inspiration for new habits. It keeps everything neat and organized. I also love that it has many options to personalize HabitTracker , including a variety of icons, colors, and themes to make HabitTracker more aesthetically appealing. But most importantly, it does its job of helping build new habits. I don’t regret having downloaded HabitTracker and would definitely recommend it!

Has everything, including countdown timers!

2023-12-11

Adhd people HabitTracker is for you!!
HabitTracker really needs to charge more for what it does. The developer has made a point to consider almost everything! The best part is the built in count down timers that are optional to use for timed habits. If you’ve never tried a countdown timer for daily commitments, do yourself a favor and try it for 2 weeks. It is such a momentum boost! It even has a Night Owl option for people like me who’s day doesn’t end before midnight! Yeeeeesss!!! HabitTracker delivers!!! HabitTracker IS ALMOST PERFECT. Only a couple imperfections: (1) memos within habits are not easy to navigate to. I wish I could see memos all in one place l. Suggestion: place notes in a spot more like how Timecap, HabitTracker , does. (2) the countdown timer doesn’t always make a sound at the end of the countdown (yes I checked and I wasn’t in dnd or focus mode.) Even when it does make a sound it doesn’t last long! Would love options for alarms that are ongoing like in the iPhone timer. I would pay way more for HabitTracker, just for the sizeable improvement it brings my life. Thank you, developer person!!!! You rock.

Just got this app a couple days ago and I LOVE it

2024-01-11

I have only had HabitTracker for a few days and I already love it. It has been very helpful for my ADHD and I am already noticing a difference. I am so glad I got HabitTracker. I have been trying for SO long to find a habit tracker app but all of them either just don’t fit my needs or involve paying upwards of $40 bucks before you can do ANYTHING. I haven’t payed for any membership or subscription and I have access to SO many features of HabitTracker . I am so excited to keep using it and I am so glad I found something that is actually helpful without having to spend tons of money. I HIGHLY recommend HabitTracker (especially if you have ADHD!) Also, I know this is a review but if you are reading this, I hope you stay safe and healthy and I hope you have a great day💕

Glitchy on quantitative habits

2024-11-17

I really like how easy this tracker is to use. I can add notes to my daily habits which is great when tracking things like gratitude or reading goals. I am however getting really frustrated with it not saving my numbers.

I have a goal to read ten pages a day, but like to track when I read more. I read 27 pages yesterday and every single time I go back into HabitTracker , it has changed my number to a lower one. I’ve refixed it four times now and am so irritated because I don’t want to have to go back every single day and make sure my numbers are saving. What is going on here?! Is this user error or what are you all doing to fix this? I really hate the idea of getting another app but this is proving to be more stressful than helpful.

Good . . . But confusing

2024-11-17

So I recently got Habify to start tracking my daily routine and I was pleasantly surprised by how easily I could upload and list all the things I needed and wanted to do. The only thing I found I was disgruntled by was the fact that I wasn’t able to see all my daily habits on my Today page, which lead to me being unable to quickly tap, record, and note on my habits without shifting to new pages ( which takes quite a bit of tome ). All in all, a very stylish app, but not too user friendly. Intuitive, yes. But not friendly enough to explain vital functions to the one in front of the screen.

Love this app

2024-11-17

I never write reviews for apps but this one is soo good I wanted to give the creators credit where it’s due. I tried about 50 habit tracking apps and NONE of them allowed you to track specific time spent on a habit (ie. study for 20 minutes a day). I love that there’s a timer attached to the habit so you just start the timer and do the habit and HabitTracker lets you know when your time is up. It’s a great feature! I also love the support! I reached out about HabitTracker not having a complication for my iwatch face and the developer got to work on it right away. Great app! Spend the money!

Changed my life in 3 days

2024-11-17

Once I got HabitTracker I was much better at meeting my goals daily such as how many steps I take and how much water I drink it also motivated me to eat fruit daily which I was never really good about so I really like HabitTracker and I would suggest others get it to keep you going and just make you self feel good knowing you met all goals but I also think that if you do get it to set your goals 1 or 2 at a time so you don’t overwhelm yourself but other than that this is awesome 😎

Amazing!!

2024-11-17

I love HabitTracker. It’s absolutely amazing! It’s so easy to use and you can navigate around so quickly to help you find all your habits and help you achieve your goals. Honestly I would 100% recommend. It is completely free and you can add so many habits its crazy. If there was only one thing I could say is, I which there was a tab where you could see a calender or sorts of the days you’ve completed all your habits and see your pogress in general not just with them individually. Again, totally recommend.

Best habit tracking app

2024-11-17

I’ve downloaded almost 10+ habit tracking apps to compare. All were available on apple watch. I think this one is the best one I tried. It’s free. It has premium version which I didn’t find reasons to purchase yet. The premium is also very cheap compared to other apps. The only feature I would want is to specify something I want to stop such as nail biting. (Maybe it’s me that I couldn’t find that feature). Great design. Super super recommend it to anyone who wants habit tracking. Five stars!!

Highly recommend

2024-11-17

I barely ever rate or review apps, but this one is worth it. It’s very clean, simple, and does exactly what it should do. I needed an extra boost to be able to follow through with habits and that’s what momentum provided. I’ve had minor problems (syncing pro version issue), but the dev was happy to email with helpful tips to fix it. If you get momentum on the phone and look at tips and tricks, they mention using the notification center widget. Honestly I use that all the time now, never even open the actual app.
This has probably been one of the most impactful apps I own!

Organized and well executed

2024-11-17

This habit tracker makes it easy to set up new items to track, to mark them as being done (or undone, if you’ve made a mistake) and see what the past month has been like as far as regularity. The integration between the iOS version and the Mac version works great. I’ve never had the occurrence of marking something done on one device and finding that it wasn’t marked as done on the other. I looked at quite a few habit trackers, and this one was the easiest to setup and maintain. It has alarms that allow you to mark something as complete right from the iOS notification screen. It’s super easy and convenient to use.

Awesome App

2024-11-17

I do use this to create new habits like fitness, and it works great. But I also use it for household stuff: reminding my household to do chores. I'm not being a jerk, but I exist in a house with 4 other adults, and I'm the only one with any drive or ambition, and they simply won't do chores without me telling them to. If you're in this situation, HabitTracker is your answer. (Don't tell me to motivate them, or leave them alone and they'll catch on, it doesn't work. They're happy living in filth.) I have daily and weekly reminders to nag them to do their chores. It works great. Summary: if you need things done on a recurring basis, HabitTracker is awesome.

Still great even without paying

2024-11-17

HabitTracker is definitely worth it. I downloaded many other habit trackers, in which either didn’t work well or wouldn’t let me do much without paying. Even without paying, HabitTracker has many exquisite features, for example you can have as many habits as you would like without paying. There are also cool (and free) features, like dark mode, and customizing the color of each habit, and you can pick the color of HabitTracker itself. In the end, I think HabitTracker is totally worth it, especially if you don’t want to pay money.

Most robust habit tracking app bar none

2024-11-17

Ok, call me crazy as there’s a couple big boys out there (starts with an S and ends with an S) but if you don’t want to pay a fortune for a really full featured habit tracker, look no further. Seriously!! I didn’t get paid to say any of this. This is a really solid and full featured habit tracker. I should know I have tried well over 50 different ones and this is not my go to habit app. Why?
1. Tags (love them!)
2. Health kit integration (why enter things twice)
3. Well laid out
4. Weekly means weekly, not daily. (Use it and you’ll see what I mean. One 2 other apps get this. Great job to the developer!)
5. iCloud sync. (Hello! Why doesn’t everyone have this in their app.)
6. Vacation mode (you don’t want it, don’t use it, but nice to have!)
7. Archive habits. Yes!!!
8. Timers / counters built into the habits. Easy to know how long or many times you did something.
9. Partial credit. (Nice to have to know that you maybe didn’t achieve your habit but you put in some effort.)

And much, much more! Give it a try!

Excellent !! Almost perfect

2024-11-17

Love HabitTracker so far, super clean. I really like that you can schedule habits for more than one time a day. The timer is excellent for knowing how much time has elapsed. The watch integration is simple but super effective. Interface is very intuitive. Great job Dave! (I assume this is your name based on the company name) .

The only feature I really want is the ability to create to dos with HabitTracker. Some habits like ,say, “reflect on the meaning of life” 5mins daily, generally result in me wanting to do something. I can capture these in the notes but a integrated into a to do module would be awesome (I would pay for this module). I am going to keep using HabitTracker in hopes the dev gets to it. You can do it Dave, it is like the first app that is taught in building apps for dummies :)

The only quirk I found is when you edit a habit name you have to click next, then complete for it to update. Not a big deal but a done our next button would make this less awkward.

Overall it works really well, I love i can own it for life with out paying monthly, which I hate, except for podcasts like Sam Harris meditation app or his show.

The coolest out there.

2024-11-17

Of all if the other apps like this, this one is one of the best. I like that it is decently customizable, you can set alarms and add numbers to your habits without actually opening HabitTracker . I only wish it was more comprehensive when graphing. I have a habit that is "no more than..." and I haven't quite figured out if it is tracking my numbers the right way. You can go into the negative and that is confusing to me. Otherwise, I will definitely be using HabitTracker more. Please don't start charging!
