I got these powered earplugs for the range and they are GREAT at the range. I also got them to take phone calls when in the range. The phone Bluetooth is USLESS! The earbuds amplify the surrounding noise for the caller and you can only hear the phone call on one earbud.
Now to the issue I’ve had over 3 pairs of earbuds. I use Wireless earphones and ear muffs to drown out the noise of my lawn equipment. I figured that it would be nice to just have earbuds to accomplish this for me. The three pairs I have gotten from walkers, while listening to music the right earbud cuts out intermittently for anywhere from ½ a second to 10 seconds. I can’t even get through a 4 minute sone without this happening more than once in that time frame.
In conclusion, don’t waste your money on the Bluetooth earbuds, they are simply not what you will expect from them and the walkers app is so biggie and just garbage. You can accomplish all the functions by pressing to buttons on the earbuds.
I hope this helps. By the way, I use these with an iPhone X and have also tested them and got the same results on my iPhone 7s plus.

I downloaded the Walker’s Connect app to use with their Silencer BT earbuds. The ‘buds work excellent, WalkersConnect , not so.

With the left and right volume linked together WalkersConnect will allow them to unlink, adjust separately, then link again in a flash. Then the left and right volumes stay at different levels until you unlink them adjust them and re-link them.

Three times I’ve had Bluetooth pairing problems with the phone. One ‘bud will pair and the other will get stuck in a no-stop pair/unpair cycle. It works fine for days then it screws up. Solution: delete/reinstall WalkersConnect .

There are icons covering up the sleep buttons at the bottom of WalkersConnect screen. Solution: Get rid of those icons, not everyone uses Instagram and Facebook. Stop trying to be helpful; if someone can’t live without Instagram and Facebook let them figure out how to get on their apps, meanwhile you’ve made functions on you’re own app useless.

With the sleep mode set to “off” I’ve had WalkersConnect suddenly say it was going to put the right ‘bud to sleep. Really?

One or both battery level meters gets frozen on a number even though the ‘bud batteries are run down and recharged. Solution: delete/reinstall WalkersConnect .

WalkersConnect seems to be fragile and wonky.

I get in order to allow this crap app to work you must pair the ear buds to your phone that you are listening to music through at this very moment via the bluetooth paired device I am already connected too! Iphone 7 plus. Other than WalkersConnect being useless waste of time I like these little units. Lot of pings, static and interference though. Kinda of a washing waves background noise on left unit. Music sounds good. Phone calls ok. Beeps for volume change etc on call super loud! Unnecessarily loud. What the hell. Makes me not want to change volume. Even when down low on call beep it rocking. As far as I can tell these should be good for hours of firearms training. I shall see.

Iphone connects to Walker Silencers. Silencers audibly announce “connected” - App says not connected. App says Battery level up, then down, then up - erratic and unreliable. Sent a pair of Walker Silencers back for exchange. Now App reports right side battery on new pair is always at 36% - Fully charged Silencer and App says 36% but unit runs for 8 hours straight until battery exhausted, App still says 36%. I wonder now if the first pair I returned was actually ok and it’s just this buggy App that was the problem. Walker’s would do themselves a favor by getting some new developers to clean up WalkersConnect.

iPhone 7+
Earbuds are great, they’re comfortable for hours, I have stereo hearing so I can tell where things are, I’ve used them on several hunts.
The phone is connected to the buds, I can listen to music through them, but when I launch WalkersConnect a prompt appears instructing me to “connect the phone to the earbuds in Bluetooth settings”, and that’s the end of it. They are connected but WalkersConnect doesn’t think so. I’ve tried many different orders of operation from power cycling the phone, to power cycling the buds, on and on.

I was looking forward to using WalkersConnect while on the range and training with people. However WalkersConnect is useless and does nothing as far as changing any settings. Luckily the earbuds themselves are fine and can be adjusted manually. Luckily I can still listen to music thanks to Bluetooth. It would be nice to see walker care enough to fix this problem for their customers but they don’t seem to care enough to see all the negative reviews and address it. I use an iPhone 6s.

Quite frankly, this is literally the worst app that I have ever used. Stay away! They don’t even deserve the preliminary satisfaction of increased download numbers, right before we delete this hot garbage.. I understand the product was the focus in this case, and this rudimentary app was just supplemental, but how dare you release something that is not even useable and peddle it to customers who have already spent their money=time on your company.. shameful..

Based on WalkersConnect so far... it’s crap. Haven’t been to the range yet, but can’t get WalkersConnect to stay connected for longer than a few minutes... then reconnecting is an exercise in tap, yes, ok... retry a few dozen times till it does connect.
Seems to me that BT was a function that was perfected over 10 years ago... you’d think it should be the most simplest of features.

Does not work reliably. It usually does not connect to the earbuds, and on the rare occasion that it does, it is unable to control the features of the earbuds. Hopefully this will be corrected. The application writer can get extra bonus points if we can adjust the cut off volume through the iPhone app. I would like it to cut off at a lower volume. Looking forward to improvements, thanks.

I have my silencer Bluetooth earphones paired with my iPhone 6s (iOS 13.3). Music, phone calls and Siri are working through my earphones, but WalkersConnect is not doing anything when I adjust the right and left hearthrough/amplification or the mode. Luckily the buttons on the earphones do work. All WalkersConnect is good for is seeing the battery levels of the earphones.
Please fix WalkersConnect! Thanks!

Have an iPhone 7. Took me a little bit to get WalkersConnect to connect to them. Paired them to phone and would open app and hit connect and it wouldn’t do nothing. Had to go to settings turn off Bluetooth and then turn it back on and make sure earbuds was first thing to connect to phone on Bluetooth and then go back to WalkersConnect and hit connect and WalkersConnect finally connected.

Great earbuds. Use them when I go hunting and at work to listen to music.

I was very concerned as I read the previous reviews for WalkersConnect. I am extremely happy with the ear modules and their interaction with my phone. I have an iPhone Xs and have not had the issues described by others. It’s not much of a shooting season here in Missouri right now so I used them to workout with. WalkersConnect works just as it should.

I will not go to the range or hunt without my Silencer BTs! WalkersConnect makes it so easy to control the volume/mode/ and check the battery! The rechargeable case is so convenient too!

I’ve had no problems connecting it to my phone. 🙌🏻

So after two days of trying to connect to WalkersConnect I discovered a second app. Walker’s Link. So far working great!

I have an iPhone X and WalkersConnect works great. Ear buds connected to my phone easily. Music sounds good as do calls with no static or interference. These are great on the plane, in the gym or on the range.
