I would not recommend downloading or using this app. Despite my dedication as a professional dental hygienist, completing over 50 shifts with perfect attendance and NEVER canceling, this app chose to side with a dishonest office for monetary gain. The office I worked for falsely claimed I abandoned my shift after I finished all my work and requested to leave. I provided proof that my schedule had fallen apart, yet this app still imposed a restriction on me without taking the time to investigate or value my commitment to the profession.

This platform prioritizes shady office politics over the professionals who genuinely care about patient care. As dental professionals, patients rely on us to provide consistent care, and it’s disheartening that this app does not support or protect us when issues arise with an office. Proceed with caution if you choose to use GoTu
this app clearly does not have your back when it matters most.

Your rights are not appreciated here in my opinion.

If you get sick or have any emergency and you cancel 2 shifts due to LEGIT reason they blocking you for 90 days. So it's not reliable source of income. They don't care if you got into car accident or your relative got into hospital. They see cancelation so they restrict you from your job and income even though you let them know few weeks in advance.
Regular job would allow you to do that. But not temp me, they don't care, so that's one of the reasons you should pick a regular job.

I cancel 2 of my shifts 3 weeks in advance, so the offices had time to find new hygienist. After that my account got suspended for 90 days.

Then they permanently deleted my account for creating a new one. I did that, because I think that's ridiculous that they do not allow 2 cancellations under any circumstances.

Again, not reliable source of income. If you don't want to feel valued at work and have any rights ; when you can't even take 2 days off because of emergency, that app's for you.

I hope their policy will be changed, then I ll change my mind. But as of now not good experience.

When I signed up to look for a staff member to add on they told me they could for sure help me. They had the terms all listed out before starting and they said they could find me someone. Now six months later they couldn’t find anyone and sent me an email they are done and when I asked for a refund they refused. On top of not being able to fulfill the position when I hired people to cover those working days I paid the enormous service fee on top of what I paid. The ethical thing would be to refund the money when you say you can do something and terms are laid out and you fail to deliver especially when it’s a customer who is using GoTu frequently and giving you business. The business integrity is disappointing.

This is a great way to earn extra money on the side. GoTu is pretty straight forward. The support team is great and responsive. This is a great way to get connected with offices in your area. I wish more dental offices used this tool!

Edit… I’ve been using GoTu for about 8 months now and I have some feelings. One, I’m not a fan of the new filtering system. I was previously able to set three separate territories for jobs seeing as how the area I live in doesn’t really have any jobs. I can’t do that anymore I have to put in the address every time I want to look for shifts. Two, the decline shift is gone. Now I’m forced to to look at shifts that I am not available for over and over since I can’t get ride of them. Three, I’m not a fan of the new updates. Each one makes it more of a hassle to find shifts in my working range that I’m actually available for. Four, the reminder texts and notifications are a bit much. I feel like most people using GoTu are professionals and do not need daily reminders starting a week before a shift. It’s on my calendar. I got it.

I will say I like the office favorites feature. At least I can see those offices when I’m applying and it’s not a blind situation.

Over all there’s just too many unnecessary changes and sometimes less is more.

I love TempMee and have been using it for several months! It’s great to be able to pick and choose what days I am available. Great platform…..Although I will say that this update removes some things that were extremely useful. 1. The decline tab is gone????😔 if I already picked up a day…I dont wanna see 5 other days of the same date! Please return that tab maybe put NOT INTERESTED. 2. Temp area defaults to 30 miles? Why when I have it set to 15 miles in my territory. I don’t want to have to filter every single time I’m searching! Please remove that or fix. 3. Just go back to the prior update. Sometimes a tweaking an app isn’t necessary!

GoTu is incredibly laggy. You can only do one function at a time and then you have to close the whole app out and reopen it to do your next task. Once you complete something ie- approving a temp counter offer, you get the spinny circle of death indefinitely until you close out. You never get to click the OK once accepted.

There is quite a bit of room for improvement to make GoTu work well. I prefer the website to do most of my transactions but the website doesn’t work well on a phone to accept counter offers so GoTu it is 🤷🏻‍♀️

TempMee as an agency has been pretty good and responsive. The application on the other hand can be a nuance. They just added a filtering system that at first I thought finally and then quickly realized it fixed nothing as the filter does not stick and needs to constantly be put in. My hopes were that they’d set up a filtering system that allowed you to put in your availability so that you’d only receive job notifications for those days and for the states you’re licensed in especially if it is not also the state you live in (ex: I live in NJ but am licensed in NY). The amount of notifications between the application and texts messages are absurd. There is no need to remind me of the same upcoming job 3-4 times. these notifications should be limited or I should be allowed to tailor the amount of times I want to be reminded of an upcoming shift. I suggest developers study apps like Stynt and other competitors to see what simple changes they can make that will make GoTu experience many times better.

I think GoTu is a fabulous idea and I’m extremely interested in making use of it, however every time I scroll through the offers they disappear and the screen is left blank. I can only get the offers to come back up by hitting the offers button again. Unfortunately it starts back at the beginning of the list, not where I left off. So I’m unable to see all of the offers. This happens on my iPad and my iPhone. It’s unfortunate because I really want to make use of this service. Also you should be able to filter out states that you don’t have licensure in. It would also be helpful if offers came up with the soonest date available first. Some offers, the ones I could see before they disappear, were for May and June and it’s the end of March. I will try reinstalling both apps on my iPad and iPhone again and hope for the best.

GoTu is great, it is easy to use and navigate shifts.
I do feel some discomfort applying for shifts that seem to avoid ‘confirming my applications’.
We get to see office ratings, maybe we can see our own. This way we can avoid submitting applications to offices we don’t work well with; and improve from our feedbacks.
I am not sure why they have to be confidential, are people showing up to offices they are not invited?

I just have to say, GoTu is hands down my absolute favorite among all the others out there. It's super user-friendly.

I wanted to share my thoughts on the new calendar view. Personally, I'm not a big fan of it. Whenever shifts open up, I find myself scrolling down endlessly just to find the ones that would suit me. Sadly, by the time I finish scrolling, all the shifts are already taken. It would be awesome if you could bring/add back the view that showed all the offers without any big spaces in between.

On a different note, I'm not sure if it's just my phone, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to set a custom text tone or vibration for the notifications I receive from GoTu . Is this feature available or is it just my phone acting up?

I am a hygiene temp and since the update they have allowed the option for offices to list how many patients per hour we will be seeing. Most of the offices I see put 0. It seems they do this to get around disclosing when they make us see multiple patients per hour, which makes a difference to many hygienists when it comes to accepting or denying a shift. I dont think they should allow offices to list 0 as patients per hour, it doesn't really make sense since we will never see 0 patients.

There is also no way to see all listed shifts without scrolling down through every single day in the calendar until your reach that shift. So it feels like the shifts are hard to see, they used to all be listed on one page with dates next to them instead of having to scroll through dates to find them. Other than that GoTu has a much better user experience since the previous version.

As a full time travel dental assistant I can say this is one of the best agencies I’ve worked with. I’ve been working with them for over a year. I love how the end of shifts we confirm and adjust any time change for the day. I like how offices can favorite your profile so when you pick up shifts they approve you faster because of recognition, I also love that offices are held full accountability if they do last minute cancellation on us their still required to pay full for the day. Agencies tend to prioritize their clients I.e people who’s paying to use the platform, but with temp me/ this app I feel protected. There’s been instances where I had to leave an office because the doctor wasn’t appropriate and I was giving the green light I could leave and was still compensated for the day. Like anything else there’s few things that could be improved like the constant notifications and upgrading to GoTu but I just silent them, so they don’t bother me. Thank you GoTooo!

We lost a hygienist in early November due to a relocation and was left with a full schedule with no new hire in sight. Someone suggested we check out tempmee now this app and I’m sure glad I did. We are in the greater nashville area with more than 190 potential hygienist with in our service area that my post would reach. Within 48 hrs I had November and December completely filled and never had to conceal a patient.

The next question I had was the quality of hygienist we would experience. Well, in short we have been more than complaints. Every hygienist has brought a high level of professionalism and an ability to adjust on the fly. Could ask for a better solution than this. I highly recommend the platform.

I’ve had a great experience with Tempmee thus far. This is my first time temping after 7 years and the process couldn't be easier. I don't have to wait on a response to an email or Facebook message. GoTu is easy to use. I love the in app calendar. When and where I work is one less thing I have to keep up with because of the calendar. A few challenges for me: I wish there was an option to put the hours you are available to work. For instance, if the office is closing at 5pm, I could counter-offer that to request to leave at 4pm, or something similar to that. It’s not a lot of time to accept job offers, or maybe I'm getting my notifications late? The office gets to choose if they want you to work there, so while you’re waiting on them to accept or decline you, you could potentially lose out on other opportunities. The “what office is this” surprise is challenging, but overall, I haven’t been led wrong. It’s been a fun experience. Give it a go for a while!

I have worked with this app ( formally Tempmee) for a little over a year now. I have found them to be very professional and consistent. Staff conducts themselves in the most professional manner. Working with them has been such an adventure! I so,enjoy working in different dental environments and meeting new and interesting people! Best of all, with direct deposit, once a shift is worked, money is in the bank in just a couple of days.
I especially love the protections set in place for dental professionals. dental professionals are protected against unruly business practices.
I plan on working with them for years to come.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience so far. I can easily find and secure at a variety of dental offices in my area. The support team has been very responsive to any questions I have about GoTu .
The offices I have been exceptional, fantastic, well organized and have gone the extra mile to be accommodating and helpful.
GO TU empowers dental professionals to find work at there convenience from the ease of there mobile phone. The program is easy to use and very straightforward. I definitely would recommend GoTu to my fellow colleagues and friends. GO TU keep up the great work!!

Our hygienist was out on medical leave and at first, it was impossible to find any temporary help at all. The temporary agency that that we had used in the past had went out of business and if not for Tempmee, we may not have had a hygienist for two months. The hygienists that worked in our office were top notch professionals and kept us going while our awesome hygienist was recovering. We will never use another service because the pricing was fair, super easy to use and the staffing was awesome. I highly recommend Tempmee to anyone in the dental industry looking for help.

I love TempMee as a service but GoTu closes out every single time I hit the filter button under the “offers” tab. I’ve never had a smooth time using GoTu …you should be able to filter out certain states you aren’t licensed to practice in for example. There should be a way to filter that out as well as show the offers in chronological order but they are randomly scattered and offers several months away will show up before a shift that is needed by a practice for the next day. TempMee. Please work on this and make it mandatory for offices to provide the time allotted in the schedule per patient.

Since the last review temp mee has drastically improved! I love temp mee and it’s goven me the freedom to live my life with the flexibility I require! Thank you TempMee!

I am a new mom so GoTu allows me to make my own schedule in a sense. Most offices are very accommodating and GoTu allows you to accept or decline a shift based on what works for you. It allows you to easily see your schedule to avoid any conflicts and I like that it shows the distance the office is from your location. One thing I would change is allowing TempMee users to see the exact office that is requesting coverage rather than being surprised after you accept the shift. Overall I’ve had a great experience thus far!
