Oh my goodness. There’s NO REASON not to download Storyteller immediately. I originally followed her account on social media and noticed Storyteller was available with her creative and inspiring quotes. It includes paragraphs of encouragement and elaborates on the images. It’s a beautiful way to allow God to speak through our technology. It is completely worth the year subscription to bring insight and encouragements for yourself and I love sending them to those I love that I know can use it as well :)
Yes you have the option of paying if you really want to get the most out of Storyteller . SHE TAKES HER PERSONAL TIME TO DO THESE AND CREATE AND LISTEN TO OUR STORIES TO DEVELOP THESE. She has to pay for Storyteller creation and other things herself and paying is a very simple thank you to these beautiful encouragements and designs etc. There’s no ads and Storyteller is very simply set up and easy to navigate. I am a broke college student and very picky about where my money goes too and the year long subscription is nothing for 365 beautiful designs and inspiring words. That’s a lot of time and effort for only $20 maybe $30 dollars from us. For A YEAR. Do it, it’s great way to plant seeds of positivity and love and truth in your life and others

I have shared snippets of the affirmations Morgan writes for Storyteller many times in the hopes that I can share the joy it brings me and encourage others to use it. Just having that extra touch in my life reminds me I am doing something for myself that is entirely healthy. I also love that Morgan gives so much with her art and this is a way for me to recognize that and contribute a little to her beautiful ecosystem. I canceled my subscription briefly after I lost my job and wasn't sure where things were going and hadn't received any unemployment but I signed up again recently now that I am settled and there were a couple technical issues with getting my subscription back to normal. I knew that it would be worth being patient and reaching out to someone and sure enough I submitted feedback through Storyteller and got a personal email guiding me through troubleshooting the issue. Updates were made to Storyteller that improved the experience and fixed my issue. I'm really glad to have the daily notifications back and I'm excited about the calendar that Morgan is offering for 2021 through the this app subscription.

There is something about Morgan and the way she writes that speaks to me in a way nothing else does. Her words are beautiful, profound, pure, raw, at times haunting but not in a morbid way. In a way that touches my heart and helps me to know my humanness is okay and my experiences and pain are purposeful. I feel seen in a way that reminds me that I am not alone and helps me to remember that everything is part of a bigger picture that weaves together into a beautiful tapestry called life. I look forward to her writings each morning as they take me a thoughtful & authentic journey leaving me feeling hopeful and right where I am supposed to be in this moment. Her artwork somehow matches each word completing the journey in a way that can be saved, savored & shared with others! I can’t say enough about how much I love Storyteller. Thank you so much, Morgan, for sharing yourself with the world is such a beautiful & authentic way. You are a true gift!

Sometimes I wonder if MHN can read my mind. If you feel like life has turned out differently than you imagined, if you haven’t accomplished what you thought you would, if you have unmet goals, if you feel misunderstood or even unloved - this is for you. My life was turned upside down when I became debilitated with multiple autoimmune and chronic illnesses. It’s so hard not to feel lost and worthless. Morgan Harper Nichols’ words keep me afloat. This isn’t a cookie cutter daily affirmation so much as a therapist giving you tools and inspiration to deal with the things we wrestle with every day. When I read her daily message I feel seen. She truly has a divine gift. Storyteller functions beautifully and the daily messages can be shared with others in their entirety and I have many times. I have no complaints for Storyteller - only praise.

I am so glad to have found Storyteller in 2020, even if it was in September (better late than never). I am a better person because of it. I have made strides in my mental and emotional well being journey with Storyteller. This has become a part of my morning routine where I read the message after I wake up and make my coffee. I then journal and meditate.

The messages are short and sweet but incredibly inspiring, thought provoking, and powerful. Numerous times I have read a message and had to sit there and really reflect before I was able to move on with my day. The artwork is also beautiful!

I thought my app was broken because it wasn’t refreshing. I reached out to the support team (shoutout to Jesse) was incredibly prompt and helpful in her responses. Turns out, I had just not restored my purchase.

I’ve really resonated and loved the work that Morgan Harper Nichols does for some time and Storyteller brings all that together. It’s great she not only includes her art but also a full writing dedicated to each piece with a journal prompt and affirmation. I’m often screenshotting and sharing with friends because there’s something new everyday!

I had an issue with resubscribing to Storyteller because of some error connection between Storyteller & Storyteller Store but when I contacted them under the feedback part of Storyteller , they got back to me really quickly!! Someone named Ronalyn responded to me with such a kind and helpful response and she fixed the issue for me and also gave me tips for in the future if it happens again. I really appreciated her support and response that was full of love.

I recently subscribed to Storyteller. Morgan Harper Nichols, is an inspiration to me daily with her beautiful art & poetry that speaks life into a person’s mind. I feel and her app & podcast is a wonderful way to meditate and listen to her calming voice as you mind engages listening to her poetic deeply expressed words of being. During those moment to reflect on the growth in your own life or that of those around you as her words bring to mind those moments of life spoken of through poetry. Her poems are very relaxing and anyone can easily relate to. I recently had an issue logging in. Customer service replied quickly and easily helped me fix the bug. The price of Storyteller is extremely affordable. I especially enjoy this daily treat for my intellect to refocus by appreciating the refreshing poems. Thank you Morgan

I just want to put it out there that I’ve never written a review about an app before in my life. This story teller app is insane. It feels like I am so known and so present and it’s made me realize that I am GOOD and I am WORTHY. And you are too. You’ve got to know that much. I’ve had the hardest months of my life lead up to reading these today. I’ve paid for what I thought my heart needed and it is money well spent. Everything I’ve read seems to have spoken to my soul. I never write reviews or buy apps but when the Great Architect of the universe sends you this light and energy like Morgan Harper Nichols has, you have to put that energy back out and share this light with others. Hold on to this light and learn how to give it to others!!!!!!! This is just how passionate I am about Storyteller, if you’re unsure, GET IT.

I’ve been looking for an devotional and everyday inspiration app that will keep me going these days. And let me tell you.. don’t even think twice about getting Storyteller just GET IT!! It’s so worth it and truly enlightens my day when I get a notification from this app co. The art is beautiful and the words are touching, motivational, inspiring and just simply amazing. Truly has changed my prospective on things and to be reminded that life is so very precious.

Definitely worth the price and trust me u won’t have any regrets getting Storyteller!

Plus you can download the wallpapers as your screen back grounds! Everyday I change my background to its new readings, it reminds me when I open my phone be reminded of the readings I read everyday.

I love Storyteller so much, I’m in my second year with my subscription, and so pleased because it brings positive inspirational magic to me on a daily basis. Waking up to the daily message gets me on the right path of seeing where the light is in my perspective. I think we can all agree that finding this is not always easy these days, and I’m so grateful for Morgan’s genius, and creativity - it’s amazing how much beautiful art keeps flowing from her constantly and I can feel how powerfully she is being led by a power greater than herself. Through her art and her words I am motivated to take up space and trust in my own soul’s truth. This beautiful App will add value to your life that overflows and you’ll be inspired to share with everyone around you!

Hands down my favorite app. A beautiful image that can be saved as a wallpaper- every. single. day. That alone would be worth it. But then, layer on MHN’s thoughtful writing, along with daily prompts and encouragements. Storyteller is truly a wealth, a gift, and became my favorite immediately upon download. I even love that you can scroll back over past days, read past entries, save past wallpapers. And you can share them! It’s built right into Storyteller - the ability to email the full image and text each day. I’ve used that feature so much for someone in my life who is weathering a difficult season.

Basically- this is the best. MHN is the best. Delete Facebook and Instagram and whatever else is distracting you from Truth. this app is edifying. What a gift. Thank you MHN!

I have loved Morgan Harper Nichols’ work for ages. Follow her on Instagram and just always feel inspired! I finally purchased the yearly subscription in September and am so glad I did. A few weeks ago I got locked out of my account and contacted costumer service because I missed my daily messages and didn’t want to have to pay for the subscription again (although I would have if necessary because I love it so much). Customer service was SO helpful and changed my account so I could have access to my account and subscription. Big shout out to Jesse and Ronalyn who helped me out. They were so sweet and helpful. If you need a little daily dose of love, kindness and light this is truly such a gift for the heart and soul each day.

I can’t get enough of MHN. I found her a while ago on Pinterest and I’ve been in love with everything she writes ever since. Her words are so captivating and I always find myself searching for them. I wish I would’ve found Storyteller sooner! It’s just what I need. I love that it reminds me when my daily message is ready and sends me little affirmations throughout the day. And at the end of each writing it includes an affirmation and word of the day, and a reflection question to journal your thoughts. I’m a total journaler so it’s great for me (I upgraded to pay for Storyteller as well). It just helps so much with my anxiety disorder/ depression. It’s like part of my self care. Thank you so much Morgan!! Your beautiful words are helping so many people 🤍

Storyteller has inspired me to pickup my journal much more than I normally would. It’s inspiring and healing, not to mention beautiful! Morgan has so much to share and I feel like I have this little private connection with her work when I’m using Storyteller . I also like that I can go back to days I’ve missed and have plenty of material to read, see and write from. The daily quote is also a gem - I usually read that before yoga each day to have something to focus on while I sweat and breathe.

Lastly, Storyteller developers/tech support are just lovely and responsive. Any glitches get handled quickly and you can tell how much they care about delivering a quality product.

Morgan is a creative with a depth of heart that is like a deep, deep well of light and nourishment for the soul. Each week she inspires and provokes me to think higher about people, circumstances, life and my important role in it. She encourages me to show up with all that I am...all that He created me to be and that is one of the greatest gifts someone can give to humanity--helping them to embrace their unique identity in God (in Christ). Though she doesn't include scripture in her writing, as one who knows the Living Word, I hear the Spirit of the Bible coursing through her verbiage. It uplifts my soul and ignites my Spirit to soar as I was created to soar higher and higher in this life. Thank you, Morgan. I tried Storyteller thru the 7 day trial and loved every day’s message and amazing artwork! When it came time to purchase Storyteller , it was a definite yes! Unfortunately there was a problem with the syncing of Storyteller to my phone and Jesse from Morgan’s team reached out multiple times until we got it fixed. They were so friendly, supportive, and fast! Jesse took care of the problem and sent me a special Morgan treat for the trouble. I never knew about Morgan’s work until I was guided to her recently. I am so blessed to have been introduced to her special talent. I would recommend Morgan’s instagram and app to anyone looking for inspiration in their lives. Thank you!

I first saw Morgan’s work our more precisely her gift on social media. Her words brought me such comfort and encouragement at a time when I desperately needed it a little over a year ago. When I learned that she had the this app App, I immediately downloaded it and chose an annual subscription. I have found that Morgan’s gifts of hearing and seeing are so beautifully translated into the language of the heart through her art and writing. She has the uncanny ability to put this language to words in such a way that you are encouraged, comforted and seen. If anything this review is understated. Do yourself a favor and buy yourself a gift that keeps on giving and that feeds your soul. Thank you Morgan (and Jesse)!

Morgan’s work is beautiful and inspirational! I use her work from Storyteller as my phone background most times. Her sincerity, kindness and sense of patience is a breath of fresh air.

I needed a bit of help with a small detail on Storyteller and the response from Jesse was quick and very thoughtful. Even though the answer ended up being quite simple, Jesse still double checked with me via email that everything was straightened out. Thank you for that!!!

Also, Storyteller has been very helpful in times I need a social media detox, but have a knee jerk reaction to grab my phone and scroll. I click here first and I am back in tune with who I am striving to be. Thank you 1000x! ❤️

Finding Morgan on Instagram was a game changer. That lead me to this app and couldn’t get it fast enough. Morgan’s words and artistry has helped me to get on a daily positive path. And also help a friend through a very difficult time in her life. So many of the poems hit on a personal level that can make you laugh or make you cry (a good cry). Then find out she has a podcast! How does she do it all?! We all need happy, healthy thoughts and that is what Morgan gives. I thank you Morgan.

On a side note her team has been great as well. I was having difficulty with Storyteller , but Ronalyn got back to me very timely and with much help. Problem was resolved quickly and off a rabbit hole on this app. Thank you Ronalyn.

I love the daily posts that are uplifting and encouraging. They aren’t fluffy and full of lies like “you can be anything you want” but more down to earth...reminders of patience and grace and slowing down.

As a person who struggles with self worth and anxiety, these message always hit me. It’s like having a best friend (which I’ve never really had) come alongside you and remind you of your strength.

I also appreciate the images. I’ve used them on my phone and also shared them on Facebook. They always make me smile. I’d love Storyteller if it gave you space to journal but I do have another app I use for that. Thank you for putting this all together. It’s well worth the money.

I think I have only left a review for an app maybe once in my life, but Storyteller was well worth writing a review for! I’ve only had Storyteller for a few weeks and already the encouragement that I’ve gotten from this is worth the amount I paid for the year subscription!! This is such an encouragement to open my phone up and see a beautiful quote and picture or painting and read a little note that wow it’s so great I can’t describe it!! I cannot say how much of an encouragement finding MHN has been in the past few months which have been really hard. Thank you MHN!!! Also my screensaver on my comp and phone is usually one of the pictures from the this app app or from MHN Instagram. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I’ve been following Morgan Harper Nichols for some time and was so excited to hear that she was developing an app— it’s perfect for what she does. Having Storyteller and having daily updates makes her work feel even more personal. Her words and art have been integral to keeping me afloat in my faith and in my life the last year, and I’m so thankful for her.

One improvement I suggest is to make the pictures higher quality. From the image that comes up when you open Storyteller to the downloads, all the backgrounds and images are very pixelated. It would be wonderful to have sharper images throughout Storyteller and for download. Other than that, I am very satisfied. (:

When I was traveling full time and doing music I use to follow MHN posts. From the start you have someone that expressively measures courageousness and unconditional love to remind you that you’re worthy and precious. Storyteller now provides a daily series of her gifting and genuine kindness. Probably the most sufficient app to date that does exactly what you hope for. I’ve hoped for understanding and I’ve found it here and so much more! Thank you MHN for being you and sharing with us. Means a lot to know that discovery can be within the waiting and even leaving a safe place to journey again. Storyteller has been helpful in mentally preparing for what’s to come. Here I’m protected and reminded I’m not alone.

If you are looking to be filled with hope and the love of Christ this devo is for you. MHN is so down to earth and real in the daily devotions. No matter where you are at in life you will get something out of these devotions. Her words fill my spirit and help me to think where I need to improve in my faith. An added bonus is with every devo there is a super cute wallpaper you can use! I highly recommend this devo! It has honestly given me such perspective and growth, it is amazing! I rarely take the time to write reviews about the apps I use, but the Story Teller app from poet & writer Morgan Harper Nichols is an exception. Her daily devotions are well thought out and challenge me to think while seeing different experiences from multiple views. Her passion for writing and engaging her readers are evident within each day’s reflection, and the artwork that accompanies is simple, yet a perfect balance to the depth of her words. I highly recommend the Story Teller app for those wishing to have thoughtful, daily meditation as a part of their regular day-to-day.

MHN doesn’t disappoint. Her words have been there for me through deep, dark seasons and to now be able to have a daily reminder that I need at the top of my fingers? Fantastic! Storyteller is very easy to maneuver and I’ve had no issues at all in the past year that I’ve had it. You’re able to easily download the wallpapers. My favorite part is being able to share individual pieces with friends that come to mind as I’m reading it.

Morgan - you are doing a beautiful thing!

I was on the fence about purchasing a subscription to Storyteller since Morgan also has vibrant social media accounts, but I’m SO glad I did. It’s been such an uplifting piece of my day and it’s the first thing I look at each morning, and sometimes I’ll reread them before I go to sleep at night. Her words and images are comforting, relatable, and even help to calm my anxieties in a way I’ve never found with another poet or artist. I highly recommend!

I am uplifted by your daily IG, and was so excited to see you had an app! I did have trouble figuring out how to subscribe - I ended up buying the monthly packs of affirmations, thinking that was the subscription, but that didn’t give me your daily posts. Thanks to Jesse, we got it sorted out. But you might want to find a better way of flagging the subscription when the user first signs in or signs up. I had no way to know I hadn’t bought the right thing, you see? Thanks for the great work you do!

In the depths of recovery from an eating disorder - my hope was quickly dwindling. I was searching for something to delight my soup again and remind me of the hope that existed - hidden in the mundane. Then. I found Storyteller. Daily I would engage in an intentional retreat into the beauty of her art and the depth of her words. This offered me the hope that I needed to talk kindly to myself again. MHN is one incredible person, who is selfless enough to share her talent and gift with us.
