Device only functional after purchasing cloud package, otherwise

This camera will only be functional if you have bought a Cloud package from them! They disabled my Camera 2 months before my cloud expiration. I have tried to communicate with Customer Support 20 times over 3 years with Various issues. Never heard one word back! This company’s description of their App says everything!
“The mobile app is the smarttest” they advertise that their app is free! This is true and it should be free! This camera works Best with insects such as Crickets, flying anything, cats and other various animals. It’s too slow to track a human. Why do so when it’s best with Animals? YCC365Plus is ridiculous, this product is such a disappointment. If anyone needs to see my proof of early termination of my package I am more than willing to share this with others. Frustration, stress, NO Assistance at all! If you purchase this Junk you will regret it, I do 100 percent! It’s ridiculous to purchase a memory Card if you don’t buy a Cloud package they will not allow you to use this device they disable the device as soon your package date comes up, in my case they cancelled it 2 months early! So this is an update this company got me again. It’s either pay them for some service or else have You have No Camera abilities!

App Not 100% in English

When trying to report a problem everything is in Chinese and no translation is available.
Also when trying to connect to camera directly from a pc the internal web server is corrupted. I tried safari. Chrome. I do not have a pc so can not try IE
Also when checking my network it set its IP to something out of my subnet. Had to reset everything to get it to work correctly again. If it doesn’t get updated in 20 days I’m returning it.

Pretty good but still needs more

This is a pretty good little camera but YCC365Plus needs a few tweaks here and there. You can set the time by location on it, but there is no function for DST so the live view shows the incorrect time, but playback shows correct time. Guess it will be correct this fall. I’d like to see more settings on YCC365Plus . An example would be to set the sound to default-off. There are other things but I’ll stop by saying that this camera has a nice smooth picture, although it’s a pretty dark picture at night because the night vision lights when left on are like headlights blinding you. I leave mine off since the camera is pointed towards the road and I don’t want it to blind residents coming and going into the complex.

Worst camera I have purchased

I did not use the camera right away as I purchased it to keep an eye on our contractors while on vacation.
First thing I noticed is that it has to be plugged in to power in order to stay connected. That limits where the device can go an eliminates the “hidden” feature.
So I placed it in my room where the contractors should not be.
While away I received so many notifications for motion detected that were false. Nobody was in the house. I can only assume it was the shadows. Then when I would get a notification it would take FOREVER to pull up the playback. Most of the time the playback would show “uh-oh, device disconnected” and I could not see what was going on.
I wanted to return this item but it’s past the return window. I just want a refund as it’s not worth the money spent.

Had a little trouble

I bought a couple of these so I could keep an eye on my elderly parent with dementia. The first one was great until I needed to move it to another location. I followed directions and uninstalled it so I could reinstall it, but the program would never recognize the camera again. I still had one more, and it worked for a while but it would go offline often and I’d have to reconnect with my IPad almost every day. I switched to Ring and have had great results. Now I can’t uninstall this program, it won’t delete from my IPad and none of the solutions from Apple are working. This is why it only gets 2 stars. I can’t find an uninstall button anywhere for YCC365Plus. I wish I’d never bought it.

App Performance

YCC365Plus performs as advertised. I have had no problems with installing YCC365Plus or getting it to function with the Wi-Fi camera. I am not sure what is happening with some of the negative reviews, but I have not had any problems whatsoever with the camera or YCC365Plus . All the negative reviews that I have seen have been blaming YCC365Plus or the camera itself, however, I think some of the problems that people are complaining about here are being caused by their lack of knowledge on how to connect the camera to their Wi-Fi network, or their Wi-Fi Router is old and not functioning properly with these types of cameras.

Hidden performance found

Since I already have exactly that physical camera, but from a different supplier, I understood that the ICSee video application that I am using in that same physical appearance existing camera, I was going to be able to use the same app. Well, NO. AND THAT IS A PROBLEM because in order to use this new camera you have to buy cloud service, service that you don’t need with the ICSee app. because every alarm is sent in a message to your phone so you can see the recording at a later time, not loosing any info. & if you need any picture, just copy & paste it to any app for printing, or emailing.

If I would have known that gimmick, I would not had bought it.

Inomega CCTV

Overall the camera was good. I choose to record from memory card so I do not need to subscribe for cloud service.
One thing I don’t like is the memory storage display initially was in GB and after recording it will show how many GB left. I bought a 128GB card and it show 119gb which I think it’s quite normal. But now it show in percentage so if I buy a memory card I will not know the memory balance or show inside.

Hope the provider of the this app can change back to display amount of GB inside the SD card or display both measurement unit.

Great picture but won’t stay connected

We bought 2 of these cameras to monitor our dogs when they are in the kennel 100 feet behind our house. We hard wired the cameras because WiFi won’t stay connected. The cameras were set up and working great until we walked out of the kennel to the house. Then we get a disconnected notification. It reconnects when we walk back in the kennel and disconnects when we walk out. I don’t need the cameras when I’m in the kennel. I need them when I’m away from it. I can’t find a phone number for assistance either. Very displeased.

It’s ridiculous that they don’t offer support for these cameras. You have to send an email that can take 30 days to receive a response.

App Features

I didn’t see any problems with the camera itself. The major problem is YCC365Plus that lacks many features that is very important like, I can’t save the video recordings from my SD memory card installed on the camera. On the recent update they removed the face event that is very important. So how will I identify the evil bad people that keep roaming around my house. They broke in to my house more than 3 times already just the first quarter of 2019. Subscription to your cloud storage is very expensive. On YCC365Plus support page, I can’t find the answers to many questions I have. Feedback page is not in English. It is really nonsense to name this a security camera without the important security features. Correct me if I’m wrong. I’m here to listen.

Good Application with the Camera.

I have purchased the 360 PTZ all-round camera that come with this application. First, wifi setup was no brainer on iOS device so easy but little lagging. I don’t like lagging so I changed it to connect through network cable with directly to router. The performance was amazing and very fast responsive. No more lagging, easy to share with your family and friends anywhere in the world.
I would recommend who would like to buy any wireless camera come with this application. Always have a room to improve so I only rated as four stars. 👍👍👍👍

No customer service support

They take the money from my account for the monthly plan but i can’t seem to get the cloud service to work and it says my trial has expired . I can’t find and customer service that’s in English and I’ve sent two messages through a poorly set up support question and answer area and I’ve gotten zero response . But they keep taking my money from the account . Bad to zero customer service

Not a fan of advertising banner in latest version

The cameras / software are semi-reliable and an ok value compared to what else is available at this price point (I paid around $30 each for the outdoor WiFi cams). I have 6 cams and intermittently loose connectivity to random cams every few days. It’s hard to know if it’s the software or the cam but this can be annoying. Speaking of annoying, the latest app now includes random advertising which I find especially unacceptable for an app that supports a product that I paid $$$ for.

Excellent camera for the price

It has all that you need for check your place from anywhere record only when sensig sound or movement in your place and send the notifications to your phone live so you can see what’s going on in your house of course for 6.99 a month but you still recording using the memory of your phone or an microsd card great product

Bad

First, why do I see ads after buying the camera? I already paid you. The service offers nothing that would deem more ads appropriate. Trial period is only a week. Motion detection is too high. Why do I care about a leaf that moves a little? Notifications for that tiny movement get so annoying. The auto track feature just randomly moves around because it thinks a bug or leaf is important, so more useless notifications. Good app to drain your battery. Viewing recordings in your short trial period is a joke if you want to find an event because of all the “false positives” with bugs or a leaf that moved because of the wind.

iPad version lacks features from iPhone version. Cameras are security issues.

You cannot change many settings on the camera with the iPad version, I've contacted the author and received the answer (I'm paraphrasing here...) "yes, we know, please use the iPhone version", which seems like a very lazy answer.

The cameras themselves have many security holes, including open telnet services and a root account that you have no control over. That is not related to YCC365Plus , but be aware of what you might be getting into when running these cameras.

What the above means is that the authors of YCC365Plus can, and very likely do login remotely directly to your cameras and potentially gain extra access to your home networks.

If the authors disagree with my assessment of these security issues then they would surely not mind sharing the root user password built into the camera so we change it to our own password.

Only works on WiFi

YCC365Plus always seems to have Terrible connection issues. Today it only works and connects on local WiFi since the latest update. Fails to connect if attempting to access from remote internet. So fed up with this equipment and app. Maybe developers think by making it hard to use the consumer might opt for paid subscriptions, no way. I would never pay for more raunchy service. Time to discard YCC365Plus and equipment and continue with my other very reliable cameras like Jennov, which has never had connection issues.

Buggy software

YCC365Plus is very buggy. Most of the time I log into YCC365Plus , all it does is buffer. When I want to look at past recordings it just buffers. Someone needs to fix the issues with this software. It’s not my service provider. I actually changed service providers and still have the same issue. I even upgraded to 200mb still buffers. My mom has a camera that I log into from a different app and I never have an issue with buffering. I live a good ways away from her and no issues. I can stand at my camera and it just buffers.

Not all feature working

Video quality is good with YCC365Plus but the PTZ and intelligent tracking is a bit slow. Most disappointing is that the camera doesn’t respond to the command to go to a preset position. Also the camera routinely goes to some default position that is not good for monitoring. App should allow a preset to be assigned as default. Also recording doesn’t work on SD card even after reformatting the card and setting card as recording destination.

The developers are very good at their job so what there’s a 3 second add here and there it’s just a way to make a little extra money for a 39 dollar camera YCC365Plus excels with easy access to the feed and doesn’t lag that much sound and movement is on point and people are pointing out a little lag so what 500 dollar cameras have that well made app and camera

Many features does not work

The camera is cheap and easy to set up . And works fine . But I had to turn off notifications because it basically gives notifications for anything and everything. I did try the movement sensitivity to low , and still it did not help .
Adjusted the area where I wanted to see motions notifications, and still did not work. I get notifications for any movement outside the selected area too .
If they can fix this it would be great.

Very good application

Duolingo is the gold standard for language learning apps. I am 60% through the Spanish language tree and feel well on my way to being conversational. The layout and design of YCC365Plus make it fun and useful.

It\'s important to remember that there are innumerable nuances to a language and it is impossible to become fluent by just using this software. However, Duolingo is well equipped at getting you to a conversational level in a few short months. This will give you an invaluable amount of comfort when you arrive at your destination to become more immersed in the language.

In short, I highly recommend Duolingo to both the new language learner and the person who wants to keep their language skills sharp!

Horrible- SAVE YOUR MONEY

I bought this due to the fact that I wanted a camera that I didn’t have to pay cloud storage for, that would run on a SIM card also. I have it set on my back door to record should anyone try and reach in the doggie door to unlock the back door. It came with a trial cloud storage, however once that expired, I set it to record and play back from the SIM card. I get alerts that it caught something and recorded it but when I go to pull up the recording it’s not there. Not to mention if your not careful it’s very easy to delete everything either in your cloud or on the card. There is no way to pull up and watch from the SIM card on YCC365Plus . It’s a waste of $$ because you work the way I need it too I have to pay more $$ for the cloud service..This camera will be going in the trash once I find a replacement one..

Great so far, but I hope it gets better.

My Spanish speaking friends can\'t believe how quickly I\'m learning! I\'m really enjoying the process even though the unstructured pedagogical approach is somewhat unsettling! I am used to learning through verb tables and drills! This is more like learning a language as a child where knowledge is built outward from a tiny nucleus of understanding through observing the grammar and vocabulary in use! I have had to get some verb tables and flash cards to supplement this but the fact that I\'m motivated to do that should tell you a lot! Thank you to the developers!

Very happy with this app!

I love YCC365Plus! It\'s amazing a free app like this exists! learning anything is just an amazing way to expand your thinking. My boyfriends Swedish and I have tried many ways to even try to pick up the language but Duolingo makes it a lot easier. I\'m already writing sentences and can understand a lot more when he speaks to me in Swedish. I\'m so excited to keep learning more!

Bugs triggers alarm notification

I’m still trying to get use to this security camera. It’s very sensitive and I like the notification I get etc instantly when motion is detected. The thing that is irritating is that flying bug, especially at night, constantly triggers the alarm. Very annoying getting motion detected notification whenever flying insects are around. I also wish that I could replay the video from my notification with one click.

Must have

Just stumbled across YCC365Plus recently and it\'s great! Been trying to get my 11-year-old to learn a few French phrases for our upcoming trip and she hasn\'t been motivated by the book I got for her. She loves YCC365Plus and does some every day! I\'m using it to brush up on my French. too. And my 9-year-old is trying the Spanish version to supplement her Spanish classes at school.

When I attempt to access my camera app the very annoying adverts for such as candy crush etc are present but the app then hangs and fails to open. When I first purchased the cameras there were no annoying adverts and I was able to access my cameras without any problems but not now. There is no way that I will ever purchase your product in the future, the bandwidth it all being swallowed up by your advertising crap and the cameras fail to work due to this!

It was working ok till few days ago, now the app won't load up its says online with green, but it goes round and round no access to setting nor shut off button. Power is on I got an error message from my phone sorry apps not working. Any body got some free advice I tried all the tricks from many sources no luck so far. Their website no help. 18/1/24

Most useless piece of equipment I have ever bought. Keeps losing wi-fi signal and have had to do a full factory reset 3 times in 1 month. Also use cloud storage (optional) which is very expensive for waht it is. Al trying to return and get a refund.

It use to be a great app and camera, but now, when you get a movement notification, there is a 30-40 second ad pop up, so that's time wasted and leaving a vandal or burglar time to break in and get away, especially if your monitoring driveways. Not much help in that. I would recommend looking for another camera and app

This YCC365 is an AMAZON SCAM! Camera is priced resonably and works great. You can access your camera views & controls from the USA to/from Asia! THE BIG PROBLEM IS....there are 2 data storages available ( Amazon icloud & SD card). Problem is, only 1 can be accessed.... the AMAZON ICLOUD, if you subscribe (per camera). The SD card capability is BLOCKED OFF even though it is available from the camera. You can only retrieve the recordings via AMAZON's icloud. IT IS VERY VERY OBVIOUS THAT AMAZON IS SCAMMING people to subscribe to their icloud since you cannot retrieve your recordsings from YOUR SD CARD even though it was manufactured as such! Too late for me to return the 4 cameras I bought so ******* DONT BUY THIS CAMERA ***** unless you are rich enough to cough out $55/yr per camera to AMAZON'S ICLOUD (and that price is a promo)... Report it to the FCC??? That's a joke. These big guys own them now... ha ha ha!

I can’t get my ycc365 plus outside camera to cink to my I phone after 50 tries. The camera lights and talks when reset but the QR code doesn’t work. So frustrating about to send these cameras back for a refund.

Worthless camera. When loggin on in the app I only see a white screen with a little picture of the webcam in the middle. More ppl complain about this. Why don’t they fix this??? Re-installed the camera fee times, then it works for 2 days and now not anymore. Regret my purchase big time!!

I have a YCC365 PLUS I don,t want to pay for the cloud so i got an SD card and I can't view the SD card. Am i doing something wrong? I think the SD card is working because there is memory being used when I go to the card storage. What do I have to do to view the SDcard?

bought 4 YCC365 Plus smart cameras 1will not connect the house 2.4 gh wifi 2nd connects but will not move automatically or manuall through the app 3rd connects but moves only a few degrees in auto or manual 4th connects moves manually but limited automatically

This is the worst wifi camera I ever purchased. Do not make the same mistake. They even wanted me to purchase the additional plan. I don’t think not. There are so many things wrong with this gadget. Amazon should of not put it on its website.

Ihave no confidence in this product I can't get the app to work after at least 30 attempts. I really wanted this camera system to work because of its simplicity (no wires to connect) however, after many attempts to activate the app I went to the comment section, it was then I realized that I had made a terrible purchase and that is why I'm seeking a full refund for the three cameras I've purchased. A total waste of money and time👎👎👎

This app is ABSOLUTE crap & doesn’t work. Any positive comments are most likely paid or friends of the seller. In short, the app only allows use to view your camera if are both on the same WIFI connection at home/office on your phone. Once you leave and you phone moves to 4G, they app fails & you can’t connect to your cameras remotely. The App YCC365 DOESNT work as promised & should be scrapped!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I have seven of these camera's. At first I like them. Now I don't. A clue of them won't record on sd card. They pick up motion then when you go check them out. Nothing is there because it didn't record on the SD card. Camera says SD card available. And alarm recording. If I known the defects before the purchase. I would've bought a different complete camera. I'm now looking for better. Never will I purchase another ycc365 product again.

Camera will not work. Refuses to pass the cloudcam stage, keeps saying connect to another network or turn on mobile data?? Followed all the tutorials online but this camera does not follow those procedures. Most frustrating item I've purchased.

We've 2 camera's installed, one with and one without cloud service. The last 2 months the cloud camera is once a day disconnected and needs to reboot ....no problems with the order camera ....its a problem !!!!

Is there anyone who can response to me to get this camera working. I don't get any response from the camera by e-mail or sound. does it need a app update to get it working

SD playback does not work, they probably only want to sell their cloud storage. Consequently, they promise SD card playback which fails to work. Please fix this bug!

My camera has worked consistently well for at least two years using this App but of recent time the camera fails to operate regularly despite resetting it on a number of times during any day. I have reloaded the App but the problem persists. I do not use the backup cloud choosing an so card and wonder if this is the problem?
