It used to be a decent app. Now FXRadar no longer allows me to label my profiles. It only allows me to add a new profile with a fixed title, which is the current date.
Why can’t I label the title how I want? Now I have no idea what’s what since I can’t label anything anymore

No way to save preferences of not registering (users have to click through annoying dialogs to get to the main panels).
App doesn't communicate with device properly; battery status on chrono will read 0% when this occurs (often).
Clear list stopped working.
Needs work!

Paying over $200 for a little plastic unit that runs on AAA batteries and doesn’t even come with the necessary rubber band... really? For that price it should come with a modern rechargeable battery and if not a suitable clamp, at least a life supply of rubber bands. Unfortunately, this seems to be the new trend with all electronic stuff for shooters

The radar machine seems to work well. However, FXRadar is very poor and besides the annoying connection format, to profile different guns have issues also.

FXRadar (v1.5.45) is incompatible with iOS 14.6 and 14.7. It works well with earlier versions.
FX support reports no compatibility updates are planned at this time.

App is trash and will not stay connected

I just downloaded iPhone app on Jan 22, apparently after a UI redesign. Can’t delete a profile, also trying to figure out how to edit a profile as the edit icon letting you rename the profile is not there. Hoping for an update soon and an accurate iPhone guide with accurate instructions (or a video).

I’ve been using FX Radar for some time on Android and when I switched to iOS I saw that there is no GRAPH option…this is not expectable ,what is the diference with Android and iOS to not let the full potential of the Radar! Please add this function to iOS!

Have connection issues from time to time. Also misses shots at times. Haven’t figured out how delete a profile yet. Hate the mounting bracket...rubber bands?...really?! Missing stats that other apps offer. Needs work!

I’ve had the FX radar about 6 months when I first purchased it I had no problems at all. I used it yesterday and the thing made me so mad, it wouldn’t give me any readings shot after shot nothing

Never had an issue. Has worked nearly flawlessly from the start. It might miss a shot or give a false reading 1 out of every 500 shots. Being able to rename profiles and a better mounting system would get it to 5 stars.

After using it for a full day, it works pretty good. It does miss a shot every now and then, but so did my Crony Beta, and setting this up and carrying it is far easier then the Crony. I had a extra web and Velcro strap that fit perfect, would be nice to have something like that come with it.

There is a bit of a learning curve and with no instruction in the box it’s a bit of trial and error. It toot me a while to finally figure out how to delete a string so I could start fresh. It would be nice to have a Quick Start Guide in the box with all of the basic functions.

I also wish I could delete the stock profiles, I have ZERO need for them and they just clutter up the profiles area.

All in all, it hurt a bit to spend $200.00 on the radar but it’s a very compact, convenient package that I’m enjoying very much. My shooting bag just got a lot lighter. 😁

Works perfect from day one, not, never , nada ever an issue/ had shoot thru design before, light sensitive, wanted to throw it in burn barrel.
