Cougar is just definitely a scam full of bots within my first 30 mins of download Cougar i was bombarded with 70 messages some may be real persons scamming and some are just bots , it’s just a money making app cause in order to even send messages you have to upgrade to VIP which I did and that was a complete waste of money. I was actually asked for my social media by ofcourse someone who I think was real , but what they do is find you on instagram or facebook or whatever and start seeing your friends and threaten to send nasty pics to your friends and family and say that you’re on Cougar and they want you to pay them a ton of money not to. I uninstalled that app immediately, no way to actually even delete your profile. It’s just a big fraud.

I am a younger female, joined Cougar to meet older females. While it does allow you to select that you’re only interested in women, even when you select, that men are still allowed to message you?! I wrote in my profile that I’m not interested in men, but that won’t stop them. Cougar was pretty much useless to me because most of my messages ending up being from men and there is no feature in Cougar to prevent that. In addition, it does not limit the women it shows me to only women interested in other women. I kept clicking on women’s profiles and most of them said interested in men. Why even have them come up in my search? Not a very LGBT friendly app.

I have never seen an app with more scams and bots than anything else around. Within an evening I received over 75 messages. Some that appeared to be more legit were also scams ranging from asks from “sugar mommas” to run financial transactions for them to people trying to get pictures of you through a “sexy chat” and then find you on social media and threaten to send pictures of your chats and pictures to others unless you pay them a ton of money. Furthermore Cougar is extremely buggy. In fact there is no way to delete your profile. There is an option to do it, but it doesn’t work. Cougar should be investigated by authorities and shut down. I’m surprised Apple hasn’t taken Cougar down yet. It literally violates all their policies. It really should be banned.

If you are looking for hookups or milfs, the only standard out there that is legit is Ashley Madison. Don’t waste your time here. If you are new to all this stuff you could get yourself into some serious trouble.

Most the ratings on Cougar Store are fake. Read the one star ones because those are real.

I’ve never written a review until I felt so cheated by Cougar. You fist off have to pay $15 to even see messages, once you see them it’s one of two always similar messages, the first one is people claiming to be sugar mommy’s saying they’ll give you $500 a week. I’ve talked to over 20 of the just to see if any were real, they always ask for you to give your bank info right away. The other message is attractive women asking to hookup, they’ll give you their Snapchat or number. I tried snapchat with at least 10 to be sure. They always claim to be living right down the street from you and for you to come over but you probably have to pay first and I assume they’ll give you a fake address. There are nothing but scams on this website and I’ve never put money into a more fraudulent app. I used it for 4 days and there’s no refund. DONT BUY Cougar

Cougar is not even a real scam. I downloaded it just 20 minutes and am being bombarded with fake profiles of people trying to give me their phone number, and Kik, and Snapchat and allegedly going to pay me $500 to sleep with them. I can’t even go to their page to see who they really or or block them. I can’t even delete my pics and delete my account. They’ve obviously disabled that feature. When I try to delete the account they ask you two times if this is really what you want to do. After the second question then it just says password error. So it’s still there. This truly is the worst I’ve seen out there. They aren’t in the business of creating an actual enjoyable experience, hell I’d pay for something that works and is worth it. This is just garbage and nothing but scammers and spammers. This site needs to be shut down indefinitely.

A complete joke. I’m actually glad Cougar was buggy. Because after upgrading to VIP - thank GOD I only selected a month and then cancelled and selected non-recurring - when I went to search for, “Women,” it kept defaulting to both Men AND Women. Initially, I thought it was showing me only men, which, as a straight guy, I did NOT want to see. But then I saw how few women are actually on here. It was almost 100% guys. Maybe after every 50 or so dudes, you’d see a woman’s profile. Kept getting spam messages from women nowhere REMOTELY close, many of which referred me to the WhatsApp messenger or Snapchat. Or who wanted my address and ensured me they’d be there in under 30 minutes. What is this, Dominoe’s? And we’re 4 hours apart. Terrible app. Very few actual women on here. The ones who are can have their pick of all the, “Hey Baby,” openers and wang pics that I imagine are sent to them…. Deleting…

Cougar is a scam in a number of ways. First of all, matching with someone will not allow you to message them without paying for a VIP like feature. However, every account has a phone number in the description for you to contact AND the descriptions must be verified by Cougar itself. Why would Cougar allow you to trivially circumvent it?
Calling the numbers given will always fail with a message from a burner number company. Many account descriptions are exactly the same. A “too good to be true” vibe permeates the whole app. Spelling and grammar is similar across the whole app with everyone you meet. All the five star reviews here are short 2 liners by accounts with First Last names, unlike all the 1 star reviews-clearly bought reviews. There are almost no 2 3 or 4 star reviews. My theory is Cougar creators themselves are involved with the scam.

Truly a terrible user experience. I understand an app offering different levels of experience for users with their product, different levels of access and different features and such for paying customers, but Cougar doesn’t even let you message folks without ponying up first, so forget being able to do anything more involved than that as well. Not only is the user experience a nightmare, the user interface, or app layout i suppose, is absolutely hellish. Not only is it difficult yo navigate and hard to even understand, but even its choices of color and design are enough to induce an apocalyptic migraine. Do not download or use Cougar, let alone pay money to do so. Cougar is the Scrooge of the modern internet/app field. To use Cougar is to invite a pox upon your own house. 1/10, cannot ethically recommend.

After reading reviews and getting myself an account I first hardly saw what scams they were using to get money from me. First they ask where I’m located, to which I lied and say a random city, and miraculously they are just within 10 miles from me even thought the profile says otherwise.
about 1/3 of the profiles have pictures of women who star in adult films claiming they are them but they don’t realize other scammers use different photos of the same women. They then try to get you to use cash app/PayPal or whatever to “see if you’re serious”.

Don’t bother with Cougar unless you want to roll the scammers

Probably the worst app out there. Don’t come here. Your gonna have a msg board full of spam. Do do a premium it’s 14$ a month and you’ll still get spam. You’ll talk to a woman and she’ll text you on phone or other apps. She’ll say “do u want a suga momma and what’s you bank info” after she figures out you have a bank 1. You’ll have to pay her. 2. She’s a model and you’ll have to pay her. 3. She’s a hooker and you’ll have to pay her. There isnt one suga momma on here. It’s all lies. They
just want you to buy their content or services. So when you see the question “do you have a bank account or bank service so I can pay you” they’ll ask you for money or if to buy their content. It’s all a big scam. 0/10 stars

Paid for membership( never do) went to try something new and Cougar is almost ALLLLLL BOTS or Hook ups who want and solely ask for money or pretend to be a successful lady but once you actually start to converse they

1 have broken English when they respond here and there so you have to be aware
2 they say “baby” honey” etc way toooo much like almost every sentence
3 never can prove identity and will try to guilt you into sharing personal information
4 can’t confirm identity because they won’t vid chat or call or anything except send fake photos and text you
5 the numbers and profiles that are fake and have very similar stories, and cues for how they talk to you and make it believable
6 I’ve had hundreds of likes and winks but again they are fake and most of these “people” will answer short and then want you to text off Cougar

I mean it’s disgusting how people fake identities and are scum and take advantage of people. Just ask questions and be aware. There is no need for someone to need your personal bank information.

There are many things wrong. #1 they expect you to pay for everything but NEVER respond back when you email them for support?
Wow pay for no service. That’s poor developers. There’s no delete account button so once you’re done, you can’t get rid of it. I emailed 3 different times within a few days and no responses at all. I tried making my account blank and saying I left but their automatic profile checker (unless it’s a person verifying profiles then that’s even worse since they cannot respond to me) and my blank photo got removed back to my original. Almost every dating app allows you to delete your account. Delete mine! Do not get until they provide a better service.

It’s obvious these profile are fake. I did a paid membership. Yes the women will respond to your questions, say your Actual name, however they will never say live in the actual place they there profile says. They will say they are on business and say they visit your area sometimes to keep you interested. Yes they will text you and send you photos , pictures look nothing like their profile pics . It’s obvious that an employee is behind the screen trying to act authentic , and sadly it’s probably some DUDE. When you pop the question of actually wanting to hear their voice through a voice message they will get defensive and not do it...because THEY ARE NOT REAL. DO NOT INVEST TIME INTO THIS SITE. Fake

All woman who have their numbers on their bio are Indian guys who try to make you give them your bank information, supposedly they are trying to make a deposit into your account, don’t fall for it , they will start to act offended when you question them , like 95% of the accounts are fake, Cougar needs to delete this people or just close down. I talked to over 20 different accounts and they are all Indian guys , they all have the same story about them having a business and they can’t use cash app and Venmo because some third party bs. They ask for gift cards when they see that you won’t budge. Pls stay safe from this A holes.

I really want to like Cougar, but it’s pretty tough to. Some issues I had with Cougar are the following:
1. You couldn’t search by distance. Okay, you waste a lot of time looking at profiles of people that you’re never going to consider meeting because they’re way to far. Unless one is an international traveler or looking for a long distance relationship, there is no point in seeing profiles in other countries or on the other side of the current country.
2. It advertises cougars dating, yet functions like an average dating site. I came on Cougar to specifically find cougars. What did I find? Men and women who were interested in men who were older than them. It was challenging finding an actual this app lady.
3. You can’t search by age. They have you input the age range you’re looking for when you create the profile, but ignore it when you’re actually browsing for matches. It’s annoying looking for a lady over 30, but constantly going through profiles of women in their early 20s

Now, there is something I do like about Cougar . I really savor the showcase function. It allows you to post pictures and the like to get yourself out there more often. It also allows you to see other people’s pictures.

Sadly, the awesome showcase function didn’t overweigh my dislike of Cougar ’s lack of browsing parameters. :(

I’m not sure how real or fake this I’ve read the reviews but I haven’t met any one that’s ask for my bank info and they usually send a different photo wearing different cloths same face though they all asking if I want to be there sugar baby all the conversation were different and they all ask different things so I’m not to sure guess I’ll have to ask for voice message to find out lol

Actually an awesome this app dating app. The women here are really cool instead of being predatory like other this app dating apps. I think this comes from having a genuinely good design that encourages good behavior along with appropriate moderation. Thinking about this more. Cougar is designed so that the older women can easily find the attractive younger guys for dates, hookups. As a guy, it's nice to have some of the pressure taken off of us. We can swipe left or right, but we'll never have to talk to a lady that doesn't want to talk to us. The search filters work well, so you don't have to worry about looking through all the ones who are "definitely wrong for you." nd an additional feature which would be helpful in the non-English world would be adding languages in the basic details along with height and exercise. I can't talk if we don't speak any common language! While being of an a  ‍   ​  ‌

I really do enjoy this adult hookup app! There's quite a few features that allow you to stop and start this app dating again find Just a Friend maybe you work out partner or the love of your life... My opinion this app has figured out a way to make the adult this app dating process move forward quicker by allowing the cougars to run the show firstly.  ‍ ‍

Cougar is easy to use, I dislike when people know I delete their message so now I’m blocking more people, Otherwise I like the basics of it, The profile informations are straight to the point and helpful in weeding people in or out, Not looking for a true love connection or sex only, But wasn’t expecting to find many people that actually only want to chat with like minded people, I’m enjoying it for now,

I've had some great dates and some nigh*ares just like any this app dating websites but I've never had nigh*ares from master's degree profiles and I've had that twice here and it wasn't the date it was the manipulated wagered nature that they actually decided to lie to me the entire time. That's why you still need patience to find your match. For the this app app itself, its very simple and user friendly. Uses the Tinder model of like photos>>read the bio>>swipe right>>match>>conversation, except the woman has to make the first movie (no idea how it works in nonbinary sorry). Keeps matches within your search radius. Easy way to meet older women or this app. I love the open liners and the fact one has to prove you're messaging that particular individual. I hope this this app dating site is nothing like ashley madison. HATED the immature, disrespectful male and females listed. It's all games on           

Great concept, but sadly there are fake profiles everywhere lol.. but you cant bull**** a bullsh*****, I got on here to find me a sugar mama cause I got the looks. I seemed to match A LOT of older women so I started texting them when they gave out their phone number in their bio.. and almost all of them can’t speak proper English! They never have cash app or Venmo. It’s always “direct deposit” but they need your account number for that.. like nah I’m not about to give this scammer Indian my bank info lol. But anyways just tell the this app lady to take a selfie holding 3 fingers up. You’ll find out if they’re real or not in a matter or minutes, you’re welcome bro

I downloaded Cougar to find a sugar momma to have some fun with. Out of the 40 or so women I texted, only about two were not scammers asking for banking information. Seriously, the developers need to just delete Cougar and restart on a fresh slate because there’s a whole scamming network on Cougar . It’s disgusting and just shows how “active” the developers are in taking care of their app they made. This is a real review from an honest person who actually used Cougar for more than a day. On top of all the scammers, you have to PAY a fortune to do anything on it. Ridiculous, greedy, shady, and untrustworthy. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!

Cougar is horrible in that there’s no way to delete your account and there are fraudulent scammers on here. I had 2 men get information from this website and stalk my Facebook page and send me scary, intimidating messages to my Facebook. I’ve sent multiple messages to the Support on Cougar to delete my account and their answer was they are trying to get as many new members as possible and this option to delete your account is not available. I am looking into what legal remedies I have to get my account deleted but this company is based in Hong Kong.

Cougar and most of the accounts on it are a bs. 80% of the accounts are scammers or bots you have to pay to have a convo and the people who do talk to you immediately ask for your bank info and age.

I didn’t believe the reviews but everyone is right it’s a total waste of time. If you don’t believe me look at the 5 star reviews they all come from fake users too. For anyone reading this who's signed up already, remove all of your photos while you wait for them to delete your account, again if you’re reading this stay away!!!

90% of the older women are scammers with dudes behind the account. I actually caught onto an account being fake and told “her” to stop ahead of herself because I wasn’t going to reveal my bank information and I wanted to video chat or over the phone before I give any sensitive information out and “she” got offended. It turned out it was a dude I told him serval times “bro I know your a scammer and this and that”, and I called and guess who picked up.... A group of males! Trash app filled with scammers. Then it won’t let you delete your account.

Overall, I like this this app dating app more than any other dating apps because you have to pay for it and there are better, well-researched questions. That means you can focus on finding people more intentionally who really are trying to find someone, wheras other apps are just trying to keep you on to sell ads. You get what you pay for.

I found someone wonderful quickly. But that may have just been random kismet. Also, my match was not among the people labeled "compatible." Maybe being alike is not always compatible? I enjoyed this smart hookup app, although the quality of the matches fades after the first few weeks. That is understandble...

The this app app does what it needs to but it load slowly sometime. To load up any information takes about 10 seconds each time, which gets very tedious, especially if you're not interested in a profile or move on by mistake

Out of all the dating apps I've tried, I've had the most success with this app app. Online dating is pretty rough, and this app dating is no different. You could say it's the best of a bad thing. I was consistently able to find dates for the most part, but it took about 3 or 4 months to find a really serious connection

Although my subscription was short lived due to a lack of interest at this time, it was quite an interesting experience, however. And Customer Service has been consistently professional and customer friendly.

05/2022 I am a real woman early 50s they canceled my account within days of me joining for no reason. I went to sign in and could not, it said it “account disabled”. Goes to prove this site is purely a scam just as has been suggested. BEWARE!
