great app! a couple bugs but otherwise awesome.

I’ve used this app for a couple of months now, both on my phone and iPad, and I love it! my only ish (and the things keeping it from five stars) are that there are (in the current version) a couple bugs, and there are a couple quality-of-life updates I’d like to see: bugs: the main thing for me is that, if you import a recipe from a website (which is my primary method of adding recipes), the “notes” or “recipe description” section has a bug. every time I go to edit the details of the recipe, it pastes the original recipe description in that field again, so before long, the recipe description will just list a looong text box that contains the same text over and over. oof! updates: in the iPad app, it would be awesome to be able to scroll through the recipe without scrolling down the list of ingredients, and vice versa. or, it could be even cooler to be able to pin sections of ingredients to sections of a recipe, so the ingredients in, say, the pie crust you’re making only appear when you’re looking at the directions for making the pie crust, and the ingredients for the pie filling only appear when you’re looking at the directions for the pie filling. I’d also love to be able to do more RTF in editing recipes. if I’m outlining multiple sections of a recipe, basic RTF can make it way easier to discern one section from another.

New Update is worse

Please give an option to disable connecting your account to shipt, Walmart, etc. I am welcoming the new feature, however the green banner on the bottom of my grocery list is not a welcome change. I will continue to pick up my groceries the old fashion way and I do not want this green banner at the bottom of my list constantly pushing me to sign into my Walmart account. This is not a welcome change. Please give me an option to disable this banner until I decide to use this feature. Also, please add an option to disable the red badge number above my grocery list. I am sure some users may like this, but I would like an option to disable the banner in the app if I so choose. I have disabled banner notifications for the app itself within iOS but that does not disable the badge within the app. Thank you!

Love this App!

Love this app so far! So easy to find recipes and keep them organized for quick review! I’m notorious for screenshotting recipes online and saving them in my camera roll, in which they promptly get lost forever. I love you can port the URL straight from the website into your recipe box. Only suggestion I would make on that front is if there is some way it could intuitively pull only the recipe itself and format it as a recipe card. Currently it just brings up the website itself which is usually a blog so I end up having to scroll and scroll forever to get to the recipe at the bottom. This would also keep the recipe if the website ever goes down or is taken down. I still love it though and it works for now. My last hope is someday integrating with Instacart or one of those online shopping modules so busy mamas like me can port the ingredients straight over to a shopping list and order my groceries. That would be a dream!! Other than those two suggestions I absolutely LOVE this app and it is making my meal planning SO much easier!
