Very hard to unsubscribe to paid subscription

Beware of their subscriptions!!! Very hard to cancel a subscription to their paid programming! I do enjoy the P.volve method and videos. However, it’s been 2 months since I canceled my subscription and this company continues to charge my bank account. After canceling my subscription in January, 3 weeks before my subscription renewal, on both Apple subscriptions & their website, they still charged me in February. I contacted P.volve, and they blamed it on Apple, and told me to contact them. Thankfully, Apple processed a refund, after I showed them proof of my cancellation. I was told by Apple that I wouldn’t have any more issues. Yet and still, I was charged again in March— 2 days ago. This time the charge was processed using my bank card—not sure why they still have that info on file. Thankfully, my bank reversed the charge, and blocked all future charges from P.volve. Bottom line: The P.volve program is excellent. I’m a personal trainer & I love it. BUT, business wise their paid monthly subscription program feels a lot like a scam—easy to signup for, but very hard to cancel….😩😔😶😶😶

Love new UX changes but still glitchy

The new UX changes to Pvolve make workouts easier to find and save for later. Everything is just a lot clearer and easy to navigate. The one thing I’d mention is that the automatic logging of workouts doesn’t work consistently. I did a workout yesterday from start to finish and the check mark at the top says I didn’t workout yesterday. Normally this wouldn’t be a big deal bc I’m not obsessed with tracking myself, but the issue is that I’m doing the Summit Series. So Pvolve is suggesting I re-do the same video (as if it’s Groundhog Day) and I can’t seem to manually log a workout or otherwise trick the system into registering the workout. Not sure how much longer this glitch will persist, but pretty soon the suggested “workout of the day” section will no longer serve as a helpful feature. At first it seemed like the day of the week feature would be super motivating and useful, but at least for now it’s just kind of a disappointment...

LOVE the program, hate the user interface

After years of pain from back injuries and sciatica, P.volve has quickly become my solution for feeling strong and fit, without recurring injury. However, the user interface design is not intuitive or easy to navigate, both online and in Pvolve . For instance, I’m doing the Summit 60 series and it is frustrating to have to scroll through Pvolve to find the program and the scroll through all the days of workouts to find the one I need to do. Also, the video keeps freezing mid-workout, so I have to do it all over again (and again). Plus, the video icons are so tiny (especially the start/pause button, which is in the very corner of the screen, making it difficult to use...) and there should be a skip forward/backward 10-15 seconds option. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a redesign to make your site/app more user-friendly!!!

LOVE the program but the app needs work

This is my fav workout- everything about it is amazing but I’ve experienced so many issues with Pvolve that it’s starting to really frustrate me. Workouts aren’t always logged, Summit60 disappears and reappears in the home menu and sometimes videos won’t play for an entire day. I can count on two hands the number of times that I’ve gotten completely ready for a workout to have the streaming service not even open up- these glitches make it really hard to stay consistent and I hope they’re resolved soon.

Worst app I’ve used in years. This is embarrassing

Quite honestly haven’t used an app developed so poorly in years. Setting up the free 14 day trial was a nightmare to begin with. Things are disorganized and hard to find or make sense of, especially with the lack of any sort of search bar. Half if not more of the videos won’t even load, let alone stream to our smart TV (granted I’m also streaming through a brand new iPhone 12 pro max, so it’s not my phone nor my tv). I’m honestly emailing this app Monday (because they won’t even give a phone number to call) and asking for a return label to send back all of the overpriced equipment that I just ordered. Between the price of the equipment and how horribly their app is put together, they should just offer free lifetime use of their program considering more than half of what is advertised simply won’t even work. & to top it all off the very few videos I did get up on my tv and working force quit half way through the workout and won’t reload. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Horrible new app update completely ruins the user experience!

I’ve been doing P.volve for 2 years and love the workouts, but this latest app update has completely ruined the user experience. The workouts used to have unique names so it was easy to find your favorites by searching for the title. With this update they removed the unique names and gave dozens of workouts the exact same generic name so that you can’t tell them apart. And they removed the search feature (the filter feature doesn’t help). So trying to find your favorite workouts is now a frustrating, time-consuming nightmare that ends with you giving up after wasting half your workout time!!! And this new app blatantly copies the Peloton format, look, and workout titles, so the P in P.volve apparently now stands for Peloton wannabe! Pathetic! Despite absolutely loving the workouts I’m seriously considering cancelling my membership because Pvolve makes the whole experience a miserable one. Life’s too short to suffer through apps designed like this!

Great workout, horrible app

There are so many frustrating thing about Pvolve, and I know the company has already gotten this feedback and had time to fix it. First, Pvolve operates in portrait orientation only, but the videos play in landscape orientation. When using Pvolve on my iPad on its stand, I have to turn my head sideways to do anything. Second, they added a feature that plays music over the workouts, and there's no way to turn it off. Every time I pause and restart the workout, the music starts playing again and I have to stop the workouts. Third, they took away all the workout names that people have been accustomed to over years of this program. I understand why they did this but now it's very difficult to find my favorite older workouts. I love the workouts, particularly before they tried to start incorporating cardio into the program, but these changes have sent me looking for alternatives.

Dangerous obsession with thinness

I did p.volve for about two years, and it wasn’t until I stopped recently that I really recognized how damaging the messaging is. If you’ve ever struggled with body image I would really reconsider using this program, it absolutely makes thinness the goal rather than health. They encourage you to measure your thighs to track progress, and they put the fear of god in you regarding “bulking,” which is ridiculous. This workout is designed to shape women into one body type - tiny waist, tiny thighs, tiny arms - and when it doesn’t happen you can’t help but feel bad. When I was doing the program I thought I was too smart to fall for that, but once I finally cancelled my subscription I realized I completely fell for it, hook line and sinker. Most bodies can’t be forced into that shape, and shouldn’t be. Thinness doesn’t equal healthy, just like fat doesn’t equal unhealthy. Please, if you have any history with poor body image, disordered eating or obsessive exercise, don’t do p.volve.

Good but has a lot of room for improvement

The exercises are great. What I don’t like is how I can’t find my favorite ones as easily, but if there was a favorite workouts tab available it would be much easier to get going with my day. I would love to be able to choose what workout videos I want to do for the week and modify it as I progress. I think we should be able to have better access into what workouts we want to do and not chosen for us and save what we do like. If you could PLEASE do this it would make it more user friendly. I don’t want to spend each day trying to find the workout I want to do if I can set it up myself ahead of time. Also, I am not able to view all the videos as it won’t take me to the page to look at all of them. Please improve on this as well. Thank you!

App does not work

I just signed up for P.volve and bought all of their equipment. This past Monday I signed up for their two week series. I did my workout. One, the whole thing would freeze up all the time and it’s not my WiFi. If you have to pause the program for example, forget it. You’ll have to restart Pvolve . Now here is the real problem. I competed the first workout today in its entirety. One, it did not log it whatsoever. So now it says I didn’t do anything on Monday and moved Monday’s workout to Tuesday. The whole thing is a mess. There are many workout apps out there that work well and this is not one of them. To whoever is the developer of Pvolve , please read the reviews people are posting, including mine bc these issues shouldn’t be happening.

Good Quality Program but needs Work

Pvolve interface is a bit clunky and not very intuitive- it’s also not that mobile friendly, even though it’s exclusively designed to be for smart phones. Often the screen doesn’t adjust well, searching is difficult and I am unable to cast through my appleTV easily. The music from the classes can’t stream if the video is playing. The filter function for classes also has some issues.

Love the workouts, but please invest in some user experience testing and feedback to improve the functionality of Pvolve .

App needs work

The work outs are good but Pvolve is very clunky. I like to stream to my TV to workout in my living room and basically you need to keep Pvolve open the entire time or the playback won’t work. If you get a text or other notification, it will also interfere with the playback. I canceled my subscription for a year hoping this issue would be resolved, but it hasn’t. Of course all my questions to customer service went unaddressed.

Amazing method with incredible results

The p.volve method has changed my perception on exercise. The focus on the mind-body connection has given me great results, both physically and mentally. I’ve toned my body like never before, reduced my chronic hip pain and am actually excited to work out everyday! I finish every workout feeling energized and stronger. The best part is that the workouts never leave you too sore or achy so I am always feeling my best!

The workout library is impossible to navigate

I love the p.volve program, but Pvolve is so difficult to use that I usually end up using a different workout app instead. Probably won’t renew my subscription if they don’t fix the navigation. Why does it return me to the homepage instead of going back to my search or showing me the next video in a series?? I have to do the same searches over and over again. So annoying. I also wish there were more instructors, I don’t like Zach but he seems to be the main instructor. I wish Lloyd had more videos!

Love the workouts, app has issues

I’ve been doing the summit 60 for over a month. I realized about 3 week in that Pvolve doesn’t remember what workouts you did more than 2 weeks ago so the beginner workouts are back in my queue. I’m having to remember what I did last to keep progressing in the plan. I’m currently having to pick a class 2-3 weeks in the future. Also there is a love it feature, except none of the workouts have a heart to select. Why?

Great workouts but filters and personalized plans not working

There seem to be issues with the filters and the videos you get referred to. The videos are great and the workouts are great but you have to find them for yourself.
Whenever I try using the filter it just gives me a random selection of videos even if I clearly say I don’t have equipment.
Select beginner and you are given 2 stretch classes.

I hope they simplify Pvolve and try and fix these issue.

Buggy and series don’t work

I loved Pvolve then they made an update and ruined it. I joined a series so I don’t have to think about what video to do that day it just tells me. Every day for the past 3 days has been a rest day?!? I’ve been doing the workouts a day ahead but it doesn’t seem to know what’s happening. I also have problems with the music continually playing often it stops halfway through the video.

Annoying and not functional

Liking the workouts but Pvolve is not user friendly or well thought out. I can’t hide the music bar at the bottom, the song names scrolling by at high speed during the whole video is extremely distracting. Also I had joined a series and completed parts of it already then joined another series for stretching and it automatically removed me from the first series and any progress I had already made. Needs a lot of improvement.

Great program, lazily designed app

Clear the feedback was heard on accessing favorited workouts but that's about it. No sync with workout plan on desktop, including, for example, the filter for items you own (which btw doesn't work very well on desktop either)

If you have no other option this is better than nothing but desktop is a far better experience.

Great company, great workouts, amazing customer service

I love the variety of workouts, it is formatted a little differently then their website so it does take a moment to get use to. These workouts have helped me so much and I had to reach out to customer service regarding a few things and they have been AMAZING. I will be a this app customer for life ♥️

No pulses no crunches and travel friendly.

Coming from a HIIT app, this one is a blessing! No more stress on my body and my mind. It doesn’t involved lots of repetitions and each workout involves lots of movements which I love. It’s really a rehab focused program for me.

I have a herniated disc and lots of hip pain plus I travel a lot (lots of time on the plane) which caused back pain. I feel stronger with P.Volve and I prefer the shape of my body from this workout! I’m more elongated than bulky.

Some of the workouts do not need equipment. For the others, I just pack my sliders and bands when I’m traveling so I still get a full workout.

I hit a plateau but after 3 weeks of P.volve, my body started to respond! Finally lost inches!
