Where is the voiceover accessibility?

I read a review of this on the Internet and thought it would be a great idea to download. I did so and found out that it is not voiceover accessible for the blind. I can enter all the information to sign up but I can’t actually activate the button to start??? Then I say, “let me go to app support…“ Same thing. Using voiceover, I cannot find how to lodge my difficulties. I hate wasting time downloading apps, spending money etc. just to be disappointed. I hope this works as well as the descriptions and reviews say… I guess onto trying to find something good and accessible…

Too much personal info

Refused to use app. Required too much personal information before accessing Kintsugi . Why is my name, address, gender, birthday, email address and hone address needed?? That’s more than enough information to be used criminally either by bad employees or a breach that will happen. Why must I create an account before I can start journaling?? Well this is one sucker who refuses to divulge so much personal information. Shame on you for not proving a way to use Kintsugi without it.
Deleted and forgotten. I suggest anyone who cares about their privacy to do the same and avoid Kintsugi.

So far so good but a bit slow and buggy

I started using Kintsugi today and it is ok. I don’t know how much I’ll use it or if it is helpful, yet. A few things are broken, though. When journaling from voice it seems slow and choppy and not great. If you try to edit by hand beware sometimes it puts a capital letter when you start typing. It also puts in space before the period sometimes for some reason. And during a journaling, it crashed, which was upsetting because this is supposed to be acting like a committed listener. It REALLY can’t crash like that during trying to open myself up. :/ The community section is interesting and could definitely help me with its best content but it seems someone aggressively filled their journaling entry instead with static unwanted bible verses and when I went to skip it Kintsugi instead took it as a THANKS which I definitely didn’t want to send. There appears to be no way to undo a “Thanks”. I am also wondering if there should be a button to send a warning to Kintsugi maker about the content of the community shares.

Making journaling more accessible

As someone who journals quite often, I love that this app is offering an alternative when I’m possibly on the go and don’t have my notebook with me. The ability to truly speak stream of consciousness is amazing. I’m most excited to see what trends and additional insights Kintsugi uncovers for me, as I continue to reflect and grow.

I do want to report a bug I experienced, whenever I tried to add / remove a tag post saving the recording, Kintsugi would shut down.

Where has Kintsugi been? It's gorgeous and is extremely intuitive to use. So cool that you can record your thoughts and even set goals for whatever comes up. I like this new feature where you can see how other people are doing and their gratitude journals! Such a game changer for me, thank you! Love all the updates and looking forward to how Kintsugi evolves!

I’ve never been one to Benifit from traditional therapy or journaling. Kintsugi gives me the convenience and freedom to get out all of my thoughts without venting to friends or family. Sometimes you just need to get all of your thoughts out quickly and this gives me that opportunity.

this app was recommended to me at a time I was having one of my “low” days. I started using it right away, and I love it. As a deeply reflective person, it’s a great way for me to take what’s happening in my head and talk it through or write it down in a safe, non-judgmental “place”. this app also provides the opportunity to easily refer back to my entries when I need to so I can track my wellness and understand what triggers my low points. Being able to go back and see my history gives me additional insights that help me to better understand myself, further allowing me to practice improved self-care. My thoughts are deeply tied to my mental well-being. Understanding my thoughts are key. This voice journaling app makes it convenient and easy to capture my thoughts and feelings, and to give them more context. I would recommend the this app voice journaling app to anyone, especially those who want to better understand themselves and take control of their wellbeing.

Kintsugi is AMAZING. Its extremely easy to use. I like that you can voice record your thoughts because then you hear how you sound and it give it more emotion and meaning. I have tried a few different journaling apps and I like this one for its convenience and ability to log multiple times throughout the day.

Traditional therapy is expensive and isn’t the only efficient method. I find this app actually helps me with my anxiety. It’s a great place for my thoughts and to also read others in the community who face similar issues. It makes me feel less alone in this all and able to let everything out emotionally.

I originally downloaded this application on a whim, I have been using a Nother journaling application that wasn’t quite fitting the bill for me.

I found a few things that I thought needed improvement on this application and I contacted the developer Grace, and she has been exemplary in returning my contacts and she just released a new issue of the application with the included ability to adjust the font size.

That may not be important to everyone but when you get to be my age and your vision challenged being able to adjust the font so that you can actually read it and see what you’re doing is a great addition. Thank you Grace.

This is such a delightful app that I would recommend to anyone who wants to practice mindfulness. Kintsugi is intuitive and beautifully designed, and provides an easy way for me to log my thoughts and feelings everyday. It’s such a cool product that is unlike any other journaling apps, and I can’t recommend it enough to everyone!

Amazing mindfulness app to improve self-awareness & introspection!

this app has been critical to my mindfulness practice. Voice journaling offers me an opportunity to share my thoughts and feelings without judgement. I don't need to worry about how it may sound to the listener, whether it may be that I'm rambling or how I'm feeling about any specific experience or topic. I can fully express myself -- and express a lot! -- in a few minutes. When I read the transcribed text, I have the opportunity to reflect on those feelings and why I'm feeling that way. I really love the insights Kintsugi provides about my emotions too. Sometimes, I may not be as aware of how I may be feeling or how certain topics have been coming up in my life. Voice journaling gives me that chance to articulate and acknowledge my experiences and feelings. That my experiences and feelings are valid and I shouldn't in any way feel guilty or ashamed of them. I have continued to cultivate more self-compassion and self-awareness through this app. It's been such a great complement to using Calm, my go-to daily mindfulness app to listen for insights from a seasoned practitioner, and this app for me to vocalize those insights and become the practitioner. I highly recommend the this app app!!

A must have for your mental health journey

I’m incredibly thankful for this app- it provides me a safe and easy space where I can see prompts that help me gain mindfulness and to easily record my thoughts, emotions, and reactions without spending copious amounts of time writing. It’s amazing to see my sentiment trends over time- this is something I highly recommend for everyone who needs a little extra boost in becoming consistent in their mental health journey!

Handy app for mindfulness

I have multiple meditation, emotions tracking apps on my phone and this one is pretty special. My fav parts are the inspirations. I love reading them and feel very connected with other users. Their feelings resonates. And I want to publish mine as well. The audio recording part is very unique. No other app has it. I find it pretty convenient, but it’s not the reason I use it daily. I just love the inspirations and feeling I am not alone.

Just what I needed!

I really love the aesthetics and the purpose/mission of Kintsugi. There are far too many people who struggle with wellness on a daily basis and this is a convenient way to check-in with yourself. I love the mindful breathing exercise and appreciate the surveys that ask me questions about my levels of depression/anxiety. I hope many others would see the value in Kintsugi and find much healing through it!

Thank you so much for making Kintsugi. this app is so great for venting and expressing. Even at my saddest, being able to express my emotions out loud has made me feel instantly better. I think unloading all my negativity and burden has helped me process what’s going on in my life. So great for creating closure. I also love reading the community posts and seeing how honest everyone is about their struggles. I really do feel like I’m not alone.

It’s also beautifully designed. So warm, inviting, and friendly. ❤️

Great App for Mindfulness and Check-ins

I really love Kintsugi for a few different reasons. One, it’s a great way for me to check-in with myself throughout the week and take stock of my emotions. The different topics offered for check-ins allow me to explore different areas of my life and emotions. I find this helpful so that I can both practice gratitude and move forward in my areas of growth. The interface is accessible to use as well which is a big plus. Would definitely recommend to folks who are looking to log their mental health journey and check-in with themselves regularly.

My life has become a bit chaotic in my current job and sometimes I feel it’s better to just listen and understand my personal thoughts. I would like to keep a diary, but just can’t seem to carry it everywhere with me, thus this app to my rescue.

Kintsugi is super easy to use, mostly I log in my thoughts before I sit to meditate and then log in my feelings again after meditation. It is pretty secure in regards to my privacy and definitely feel it helps me store my thoughts in one place and allows me to go back and listen once again to my positive thoughts during times when I feel low.

I love Kintsugi. I use it for journaling, and the anxiety and depression metrics help me keep aware of my mental state. Kintsugi does have a few quirks, though. Sometimes it claims that I have no past entries, though I've been using it for months. I don't know if it has permanently lost them or what. Occasionally it freezes while saving an entry and doesn't recover. One time, my entries all changes to Russian. I wish these would be fixed and then I'd give it five stars!

Update: Kintsugi founder got back to me immediately and told me how to fix the issue of lost entries. They're all recovered.

Great place to reflect and collect

this app the perfect app to record and reflect. I let’s me capture moments both positive and negative, easily voice journaling, and get real time feedback on how I’m doing. It’s the only app I’ve seen that can measure clinical depression just from voice, and super helpful so I can check in and track my stats over time. The community helps me know I’m not alone.

Finally what I was looking for.

After trying multiple journaling apps I have finally found one that I actually love. The dynamic feedback of my mood and clear overview of my emotional state over the days, weeks and months is a brilliant idea. Why hasn’t anyone else thought of this? Someone actually added some smart technology to journalling.
