I had the worst experience dealing with IG.

The service of IG is absolutely horrible. I spent the last two weeks on the phone with you guys, only to be constantly told “My sales rep/account opener will call you back” never did I receive a call back. My documents have been uploaded and have said approved for roughly two months now. I have been asked the same security questions to verify my identity three times now. Downright horrible and terrible “service” that you guys claim to provide. I have never been tossed through so many loops to open an account with someone in my life. I have taken my business elsewhere and was setup, account funded, and trading the same day, with no issues or loops to be constantly jumping through. I advise no one to use IG, find someone else.

If I could rate them negative stars I would do so. I am forced to give them 1 star, which they are not deserving of.

Very happy to have had the idea of opening an account with them, their web platform so far has been very reliable and IGForex is very easy to use. The charts are very easy to navigate though for charting I recommend the web application since it is easier to draw lines. Recommended.

Unless I’m missing it… I tried putting in 2 positions with 2 different take profit levels and it seemed it would only let me do that. It only allowed me to double down on my first position (hence, I had to use the same take profit level as the first order).

Also, I would love for the P&L in the open orders window to reflect USD no matter what currency I am trading so that I can effectively monitor my trades better and know what I’m looking at at all times.

Other than that, the spreads seem to be pretty low, and it is pretty easy to use overall.

Been using IGForex for 6 months now and it’s definitely got some issues. If I’m looking at EUR/USD chart and I back out of the chart to look at something else, when I try to go back to EUR/USD it loads forever and I have to restart IGForex .
I’ll also get times where data will just stop being fed and price freezes while I’m in trades. Bad news if I’m in a trade and need to know how it’s performing.
I also highly dislike that there’s no chart for DXY. I don’t need to trade it but it’d be nice to be able to pull it up in IG instead of bouncing back and forth between IG and TradingView.

I was with a unregulated broker before coming to Ig dealing with all sorts of crap. I did my research and saw that iG was one of the best around so I gave them a try. So far the experience is amazing I ditched mt4 because of their platform. Everything is trader friendly and it really made me take my trading more serious. I plan to be here for awhile 💯

Was looking to get into forex trading with IGForex. My family has always been very involved with it and planned to teach me, as I also planned teaching myself as I have been over the past year. Finally figured it was time to get an app and try to get into it and they wouldn’t even open my account due to the money I make and my current net worth?!!! That’s ridiculous. This is supposed to be an app for experienced people and newcomers. Not just people that are already fairly wealthy👎🏽

Must have if you seriously looking to trade like a pro, few things could be added on the smart phone app like trailing options and mini options, would be awesome but overall IG for forex and Interactive broker is all you need to trade all markets

Yes you heard me correct!After using MT4 since the beginning of 2008 it’s really refreshing to find a platform that is not only user-friendly but has helpful tools.

I’ve been trading in the live account on both my computer and in IGForex on my phone. Very responsive and well designed interface.

When Trying to trade forex that I have previously traded that day it still thinks I have an open position and uses previous stop loss/take profit numbers even though previous position is closed. Also they make it very difficult to withdraw funds. Expect to wait months before you can withdraw anything.

I appreciate the news coverage pertaining to the currencies. I also have to mention the layout and screen coloring makes the platform easy on the eyes to follow.

IGForex crashes or freezes quite a bit. I had an issue with it and emailed immediately. They kept saying it was fine on their part. After waiting hours to respond even though it’s 24/7. I would suggest anyone else choose a different platform. Customer service is awful and app crashes or login messes up. Don’t fall for the good reviews

I read through all the broker comparisons and reviews before selecting IG. I appreciate the power of their tools and the ease of buying and selling directly from the charts.

These people will not let you withdraw your money. I had a card on there and the bank account related to that card has been closed for months. They want me to verify that card before I can withdraw money deposited with ANOTHER card. How can I get statements not older than 6 months when the bank account has been closed for 7-8 months. Customer service is no help!

Gets stuck in a perpetual ‘loading’ screen.
If you are looking at an FX pair, then go back to the main screen, and choose a different pair. It usually won’t load the chart. Have noticed this on the iPad app and iPhone app. Desktop seems to be fine.
Not a good app.

Also: you can’t change the pivot calculate time, so calculating pivots is manual. Not recommended for these reasons.

The platform is great but it should be able to work with MT5 which is the most updated live time platform right now!

This is the second time that I’ve downloaded and deleted IGForex because every once in a while it hit me with an error saying I can’t log in. An unexpected error occurred. Try again later. I try again later and same thing. Why would I put money into your broker for it to not let me into my account? Please fix

I love it! Trusted regulated broker an great platform. Only thing I don’t like about IG is that you can not set stop losses or take profits on buy limits or sell limit orders until price enters you in the market. Make sure you have alerts set for when price is nearing your entry!!!!!

They just had an update, finally, but failed to fix the fact that it constantly crashes if you switch between apps.

Drawings freeze screen when placing them

The IG trading platform offers a lot of information, updates in real time, and responds to your commands quickly.

My only complaint is that the card payment is one-way. If, for example, you deposit $1000 via debit card, you can only withdraw $1000 back to that card, no matter how much you earn through trades. If you want to cash out money that you’ve earned, they want scans of your ID and bank information. I’ve more than doubled my original deposit and I can’t touch my earnings until I email some personal information.

I am very happy with IG mobile. I have traded through other FX and stocks platforms, and IG is very intuitive and efficient. I have recommended it to my FX trading friends. Now, go make some money!
