This game is extremely deceiving! They sell you packs and then take what you purchase away and state they made a mistake. But then they don’t give you the option to get your money back, they just give you something else that you don’t need and claim they are trying to keep the game fair for everyone! It happened to me twice and NOBODY in support did anything about it and also made me feel like they don’t need my money! The packs are awful! They add items to your pack to make you feel like you’re getting a Big Bang for your buck, but you gather all these items you will never use (or have a surplus) and they don’t give you an option to turn those purchased useless items into other items you actually need! Lastly, there’s NO WAY for you to actually know how you measure your base against others! You never know what results you’re going to get when attacking or defending. The game is heavily geared towards defense, so this way you spend and spend to increase your attack hoping that you can win, but then you lose! Later in the game you start winning constantly but lose all your troops and have to keep buying packs to build your troops and health. The makers of this game play a psychological game with the user. If you play this game, the creators will own you! I made sure to quit and made sure that all the other spenders in my alliance and region also left! The developers of this game are criminals!

Yeah so, im sure this game is fun and whatever, but the ad for it is a total nightmare. The first time i got the ad, it was pretty fun. I realised there was no way to exit it after 5-10 seconds, so i figured i’d be able to after the demo was over. The demo was really, really long though, and the whole time i was just thinking: “man, when is this going to end?”. After quite a while, it said: “Congratulations! You won!” So i was thinking: “yes, i can finally get back to my game!”. But the option to exit it never appeared. All i could do was close my game and open it again. Now, the thing is, i was playing a game where you had to save manually, and I hadn't saved in a long time, and i had finally beat this one part that took me hours to beat. So i had to do it again. 2 hours later, i beat the one part and i get the ad again. Then again. Then again. So this unexitable ad wasted 8 hours of my day. Please add the option to exit it after you beat it, or during the demo it’s self. At least the demo was entertaining, however. I’ll give you guys credit there.

After playing Game of War, Mobile Strike and Final Fantasy for the past 7 years, MZ (or whoever owns them now) has finally given up on making any sort of effort to satisfy their customers who spend hundreds and thousands of dollars on this game. Yes, the engine is still the same as the provokes games, but the people in charge of the events and graphics are simply phoning it in at this point and don’t care at all about the quality of their product. After over a year in Carbon 331, we still get the same problems. Events that are inconsistent with their weekly announced schedules, points that are not correctly rewarded, and graphical glitches despite playing on the newest devices.

This is such a shame since the engine of this game was already established and successful. It may finally be time to stop handing them my money and delete WorldWarRising for good.

Don’t download this game..when a company tries its best to hide that they are the developers..that alone tells you how bad their reputation is with the mobile game community..I played their other game called game of war for 3 years..for 3 years the game was perfect..we know what max research was we know what max strong hold was..players pushed themselves to max everything cause we knew what it would take to reach that goal..and then mz started to push out mid to low level spenders..95% of the community were low to mid level spenders..they started constantly releasing new content every other week to the point where even the heavy spenders couldn’t keep up..with this new world war rising game they went and continued what pushed most of their players away from their games..like final fantasy..players don’t know what max level citadel is or what max research is because they don’t show it in the game like the early days of game of war..players could spend and spend and not even know if they are getting close to maxing..there is no end is insight..we had no problem with new content being released but make it reasonable..in the early days of game of war there were new content being released every few months or so..don’t download this game it’s it’s owned by a horrible company greedy company...they will never get those players they lost back..just look how poorly final fantasy is doing..stay away from this game

Terrible game!!!! Bunch of glitches, doesn’t work correctly, waste of money! It’s not worth getting WorldWarRising because your first pack in WorldWarRising is around $5, then $20, then $49. Then everything is $99. Shields don’t stay up for as long as they say. Assaults don’t work like they should. When you send out troops, a lot of the time they glitch and you lose them. Even the ad is terrible. TERRIBLE!! So your just on you device or whatever minding your business and the stupid ad comes up. No problem, except for the fact THAT YOU CANT EXIT OUT OF IT! Clicking the X doesn’t work so you have to complete exit out of whatever app you were on when the ad hit you. Now this is a problem because ONE it’s just really annoying and TWO if your playing an online game or a game that loses its progress once you exit out, that’s it you have to start over again. Let’s say your really far in your game and the ad just hits you, welp say goodbye to your progress. This is just a terrible game. DO NOT get it.

Been playing in my region (iron tundra) since the start and it’s been fun! But the problem is the glitching that the developers can’t fix! The first was horrible when you tried to enter CP had to re start the game every time they finally fix it then came the contacts list black out and everyone lost the contact list then they fixed that not the event glitch that we all got screwed on still had two hours left and disappeared after spending what is my real money to place in the event it magically disappeared 2hrs early and the emails I get back are funny but my wife also plays and has had plenty of issues with the event also and they want screen shots of everything sometimes it’s easy to think about it but when stuff disappears it’s kinda hard. I’m also vip 11 and if you know anything about the packs the are $99 and so I’ve spent plenty of money on this account to have some good customer service and not send you emails telling you that don’t understand!

I have played this game for a year. I fully understand this is a war game. I have tried to stay on top on my research and upgrading my base. After a year of trying. I have come to a point in this game, where I must make a decision to keep playing or quit. The amount of money required to keep playing is overwhelming. The players who can afford to purchase packs weekly has made this game undesirable to play. These players attacks everyone who can’t afford to keep up with the fast pace at which this game develops. The lower players can’t even participate in regular events because of the constant attacks from the high level players. If decide to play this game and purchase packs, the price increases to 99 dollars(US). Most of the time, you will need to purchase 5-6 packs every other week. Do the math, if you can keep up. Go for it. They have packs that are cheaper, but it’s rare and they don’t have the items to upgrade your base. Graphics are good, events are ok when you can participate. Developers need to find a balance to help the low spenders and or free to play person.

Yes this game is technically free to play. But it has been designed so that it is virtually impossible to be successful at anything without opening up your wallet. This has been this developers MO since Game of War. If they tailored the game differently to allow free-to-play to still exist successfully alongside their paying players they wouldn’t have to keep reskinning their game engine and starting over. But maybe that’s how they like it; milking their community for all it’s worth then rebooting to a new game and starting the process over again. Additionally, they’ve designed their in-game purchases so deceptively that they pop up randomly when you are tapping away on the screen as if they are trying to get you to accidentally make a purchase. From there, their customer service is nonexistent and you are left without a refund. I still can’t understand why Apple doesn’t shut this developer down.

Here’s the thing, this game should be good, hell it should be great. There are a lot of people spending a lot of money on this game every month, but there are a lot of glitches. I constantly see glitches of resource tiles showing up, showing you what’s in them but when you send troops they aren’t there any more. Shields not staying up for the determined amount of time, or assaults not working as they should. Just know if you get into this game you will need a lot of money.

Then everything will be at $99, every pack, no matter what, forever. This is how they built this once you buy a pack the cost goes up and stays up. You will never catch up to those who are spending heavy on this game. Another thing to know is that there are fake accounts (probably the devs) that are there to get you to buy into this game. You can tell with bases that are at the max level withinthe first few minutes of it being added to the game. The latest additions the “sky wagon” takes 7 days to build....just think abut that. Not game days actual days...this is a money grab nd nothing else, if the devs at least too part of the piles of money they are getting and updated the actual mechanics a bit maybe it wouldn’t be such a glitch fest.

This game started off well. But it goes down hill and never gets better. The thing that gets you is the people. You build friendships and you keep coming back for that. But honestly, it’s no way to play for free. Literally, NO WAY TO PLAY FOR FREE. You are going to spend money, and a lot of it, it you actually want to play. Otherwise you’re only playing for the social aspect. On top of that the game messes up A LOT! Packs (which are really expensive) sometimes miss things. There is false advertising, you will buy something as it reads, but in reality need to buy something else to use those items. It’s always a catch. And to top everything off. Support is absolute crap. It’s a bunch of robots sending generic copy and pasted responses over and over. And they will tell you “we’re letting our team know” or give you some totally useless slap in the face gifts and hope you give up messaging them. I’m actually very disappointed I am playing again. This game should face lawsuits and should be shut down. So take my advice and DO NOT play this game or anything like it.

Horrible support. I loved playing with the people in my alliance and the region. I’ve played for almost a year now and grind away trying to spend as little as possible and stay relevant. I liked that they would have packs that gift stuff because that gave some of us that were a little big behind a chance to catch up,
However, there support is what has sealed the deal for my departure of this game that used to bring me joy, I was zeroed in one hit because there was an error with my shiled I was desperately trying to shiled my base and refreshed WorldWarRising . I had no luck at shielding. I know it was a Hugh rally and no way I could survive so I said I’m shielding to I would have no reinforcements. I had no banners and the wrong hero in the wrong gear up. I was destroyed wrongfully. If I had planned on taking the hit I would have had the proper setup and my alliance members were there to rein it I was shielding and that failed.
All I got from the developers was refreshe you app and device. Make sure you are using stab,e internet we hope this helps. No nope doesn’t help. Sent several replies with nothing. I know others who have had similar issues and got troops back. But I’ve not spent like that so I don’t get that same treatment. The developers are the problem with this game.

Overall this game is pretty fun. I’ve played similar games like it and I do enjoy it, but it’s biggest downfall is that it doubles the cost (or more) of a pack for the same exact (or less) items once you’ve purchased one. My first pack was a reasonable price, my second was quadruple that reasonable price, and now the cheapest pack available to me is ten times as much as the first one I bought. I’m not spending that much on a mobile game at once, especially when it comes with less items than either of my first two packs. If the game developers wanted to add cheaper packs and actually pay attention to the items available in them (& have them correspond accordingly) they’d probably see some more sales from myself and like minded individuals.
I’m not just going to buy a pack because it has the one thing I need; I’m looking for the best deal. At the point I’ve progressed in the game, all the packs available to me have less resources, less speed ups, and less gold than the TWO packs I’ve bought before. Why would I pay 10 times as much for less? I’ll probably stop playing this game in the next week or two when the resources I bought run out.

This game has decent gameplay and can get you playing for hours. As with many other pay to win games obviously the whales will always be far ahead of you. My main gripe is that events even for people in your same region, have different prizes and rewards. The “deals” are also different for every person so even if you want to spend money you have to first buy a random $5, $20, $50, and $75 upon which every future pack will then be $100 dollars and then be the same as everyone else's. New feature will always be pay walled for a month or two before you can start to unlock them in events. They do a good job keeping the free to play and casual spenders from fall too far behind but it is annoying you don't even have the option of grinding for the new features. Many of their drops and percentage rates are lies. Some of the syndicates don't even drop what is listed.

Developers typically make games to make money. This game is no different. This is a warning that if you don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on a game, don’t bother. In order to compete (level up) you have to spend. There are no consistently inexpensive packs. You buy the first level and all of the packs increase. Do it again, and all of the packs increase again.

As for the game, it is okay. It doesn’t play as you sometimes see the advertisement in other games. My experience was you had to have you shield up constantly to avoid being scouted and then attacked. If you don’t have the energy to have the shield you will be attacked by those who are at higher levels. Maybe it was just bad luck, but this usually happened at night while I was sleeping. Maybe they were awake because they were in Europe, the Western US times zones, or Asia.

The graphics are not impressive by today’s standards. Soldiers seem to march from behind your area to get to their target. Sometimes middles seem to travel beside or partially past their target before exploding. The explosions look the same no matter what the target.

Will you enjoy the game? You may, the challenging of building and leveling up will always be intriguing. Unfortunately, it will cost you a lot of money to compete.

This is yet another clone of Game of War. While I quite like the theme they are using (it translates perfectly to this type of game), it doesn't really add anything new. The only thing I noticed is the ability to fire missiles, which I admit is neat, but not enough to switch things up significantly. Interface is exactly the same, down to the flashy everything that tries to get you to spend a ton of money at every turn. I thought maybe they went with cheaper packs for this game, but no, once you buy a $5 pack everything becomes $20, even the other $5 packs you were offered.

There are, however, some subtle but key features missing here and there, and some screens are quite buggy, especially if you need to scroll or tap on something that's hidden behind their awful UI. The game also seems to crash frequently, and graphical glitches abound. I've seen missiles with their flame detached and trailing behind by miles, soldiers marching in place forever, zeppelins doing weird spins. Normally I can overlook such bugs for a new game, except this is literally a cut and paste of a 5-year-old game.

If you want a good MMO war sim, go for the gold standard and play Lords Mobile. It's not WW1 themed, but it's a fully seasoned game that's worth the money you are essentially required to spend on these things to get anywhere.

The only reason I have not yet deleted this game is my alliance. There are some great people playing this game. And the game itself can be fun.

However, it’s extremely frustrating that in a “free” game, the ONLY way to have a chance to win is to spend money, and lots of it. It doesn’t matter how engaged you are with the game otherwise (in terms of hours, actions, whatever). There are things like heroes and squad members that you can only get with real money, and if you don’t have them, you lose. And in my region, at least some of the big spenders (or allies of big spenders) run rampant bullying everyone else. I understand that the developers have to make some money, and I am willing to spend some money on entertainment. I’ve already bought my first pack. But I’ve been reading other reviews about how the spending cycle in this game never stops.

I am going to keep playing for now and see how fun this game remains when I can be periodically zeroed by big spenders. But my money is going elsewhere.

Who ever is giving this game 5 stars is lying to you. Not to say that this game isn’t capable of Achieving 5 stars but in its current state, not a chance. This game has potential but here is the main thing that I feel needs to be worked out.

Resources are hard to come by early game for sure. I mean at level 1 you get 50 resources for all building available. That’s nothing compared to what you need to upgrade all the buildings in the game. Maybe tweaking the income rate will work but if not, add a transport unit. Encourage players to invest in some trucks that are used to carry resources from the locations on the map that provide these resources. We are stuck with 4 units (at least early game) and that alone is pretty basic. I feel like by adding some more variety different play styles will allow this game to achieve 5 stars.

The game is very fun and has been very entertaining and engaging. Personally I got the game last week and I’ve already spent more than 48 hours playing. I want to play the game with my friends however when they downloaded it and got in the game they were in a different region so I couldn’t send them resources or create an alliance with them. Another thing that should be improved is the in app purchases VIP system. The cost gets too high too fast. For me I won’t spend more than $20 at a time but once you get to your second in app purchase the only available price is $50 which is something I think most people don’t want to pay. It would be great if you could purchase the same bundles more than once at the same price. Summary: region to region teleporting and in app purchases, maybe a map search to find a player’s base

I saw my old review deleted, I guess it wasn’t as promoting. I give game 4 stars. The game is playable just not when richer ppl take advantage of the weak. That’s the only downfall, if there’s even a bug it doesn’t matter it’s still playable. The world we live in today is complicated , games like these bring both audience to the table , the buyers who support devs and the non buyers. Thing is I have struggled in games like these for years. So to leave a negative feedback is always the way. However if it’s your style play it, winning and losing doesn’t matter . If it does then change the way you live , cause some people pay just to have the content not what it can do , some want what it can do. Just play and enjoy the game , your a winner even if your zeroed multiple times , remember it’s just a game. Though a reskinned, who can blame them , everyone wants to be in a job and feel appreciated, pay to win, free to play . Doesn’t matter your making someone’s day just by being an audience.

I personally like these games, if you’re not fighting within the center of your region, you don’t really have to pay to get ahead. Usually the outer areas are calm, quiet, and ideal for getting recourses for leveling up without the threat of being attacked. The only problem is that recourses are the biggest pain not only to harvest on your base, but also a pain to get from the scattered recourse bases. It takes hours to gather the recourses necessary to get one upgrade, then you have to do it again and it’s a huge pain to have to look every few hours just to see that you are short by a few thousand recourses. Overall, it’s definitely worth the time but not the money to play.

I recently bought a package which should have specifically added what I needed and I got all contents except what I needed. I sent two complaints to the developers and still no solution other than a couple of emails stating that the contents of the package were correct quoting my total before I bought the package. That is bad business. I love the game but hate that they refuse to reimburse or correct. The packages offered don’t cater to the beginner players or the advanced players. A lot of items are either missing or not available. The targets offered are lame compared to when the game first was introduced. I still wonder what the issue is with delivering to a person a few missing items that they legitimately purchased. Again this is bad for business
