I downloaded this after seeing a few ads for it bc it looked like fun. And, to be honest, it would be.
Unfortunately, it’s just really shady. I was getting bumped to Safari every couple of minutes where this website kept trying to load with no explanation. At first I figured that I was just accidentally tapping the ads — I just got a new XS and I’ve been bumping the bottom of the screen when I don’t mean to — but then I just set my phone down for a couple minutes and it did it again, so it definitely wasn’t me. Then I finally deleted Polygon when, with absolutely no input from me, it just started playing a video of women in lingerie.
I have never had problems like this with any other app, and I’m definitely going to be doing a scan with my antivirus once I finish writing this review. I wouldn’t recommend downloading Polygon until the developers address these issues. It seems like the ads they’re serving aren’t very reputable.

I’m pretty satisfied with Polygon however lately in the middle of a picture and Polygon will crash and it will lose all the progress of the picture which with some of the larger pictures can be pretty frustrating.

Edit: I have had nothing but problems since this. Either Polygon won’t open and if it won’t open I can’t clear the cache or if it does it crashes like crazy. Finally I deleted and redownloaded it and there’s no setting to automatically go into the next color like there previously was. Honestly for me that makes this super frustrating. Really considering being done with Polygon.

I have been looking for a game or coloring app that is either already dark or has a dark mode where I can play it at night before bed to wind down and it’s easier on the eyes. I downloaded this when I saw the ad in another game and thought it was perfect, but then I actually get into Polygon and look everywhere for either a dark mode switch or even just dark pictures and there are none despite nearly all the images on Polygon page and in the add being in dark mode. It feels like a complete bait and switch.

It’s possible that the dark mode is only for premium, but it doesn’t say as much anywhere and it is also not cool to have that be in all the advertising but not available unless you pay. Either way, it is messed up and I wouldn’t want to give a company money that uses features like this to get downloads without delivering.

Thank you for responding. It’s working again, just started to randomly. It would crash when I came into the game at all, before I could even get to a picture. Probably about 15-20 seconds. I didn’t know I could play offline though, thank you. If it happens again I’ll try that.

Great game, but it’s suddenly crashing on me. I saw there was an update and downloaded it, but it’s still crashing. I have an iPhone 6+, current ios.

This is a great app. I’ve had it for a long time and have really enjoyed it. I do have one complaint about it though, which only came about after the latest update...the zooming feature. Ever since the update it has been ridiculously sensitive and glitchy. I can tap somewhere on the screen that’s not even close to the + and it zooms in. Or I tap on a cell to fill it in and Polygon reads it as a double-tap and zooms in. It’s just super frustrating and really ruins the calm, relaxed feeling. Other than that one thing I would definitely give Polygon 100 stars if I could!

I understand that a free game is going to have ads and that’s completely fine. Though, on some of the ads, I’m having an issue where the “X” or “skip” button is too far up in the corner and I am unable to click off of the ad, and I have to close Polygon and reopen it, which is a tad annoying.

Other than that, decent and simple app, love the layout, and it’s got a lot more than most other similar apps have.

I love this game and have had it for so long on multiple devices. With that being said, I do a lot of coloring and it has resulted in an assortment of coloring pages in my finished category. I desperately wish we could make folders for the finished pictures. There’s separate categories for choosing pictures but once they’re complete they get mixed together and it doesn’t look as pleasing. Please consider adding this feature. Thank you for a relaxing coloring game.

This is really good! The pictures are good and I love the secret sounds. They add a touch of calmness while coloring but I would love more of them.

Don’t get me wrong, there is a good variety of sounds but sometimes the sounds doesn’t...set the mood???? It’s hard to explain, I guess they don’t feel right at times and I find myself wanting to hear a certain sound that isn’t on the list, like a violin for example. I want more sounds basically. It isn’t something major tho because it doesn’t effect the game at all.

Next the pictures. Unlike the sounds, there isn’t a good variety of pictures. I personally feel like it’s lacking in this area. I look through the categories and I just don’t find myself liking (or seeing) the pictures. And there are some categories that just doesn’t have enough pictures.

Besides this I would definitely recommend Polygon to anyone because it is addictive and amazing :)

I greatly enjoy this game. The pictures are lovely and well done, and I appreciate the new ones each day. Mine just updated, changing the cover picture (irrelevant), but making the one hand controls awkward. When you hit the button to zoom in or out, instead of a sharp response like it did before, which I loved, it has a slow animation that I cannot turn off. Once a picture is finished, it has an animation of it being completed that has a button that should skip it, but doesn't.

If these things are here to stay, I'd appreciate at least being able to turn them off.

This is one of the best coloring apps I've seen in a long time. The smooth interface makes an aesthetically-pleasing experience, and a dark mode for iOS would be worth looking into. My only critiques would be the ads and variety. Ads and overpriced membership are something mentioned frequently in reviews so I'll skip that for now. I'd love to see more musically inspired pictures, or people doing more things. More colorful images are great too! May I suggest a Neon/Colorful category on your home page?

Polygon is amazing and will continue to grow as long as the devs are open to suggestions from the community and tackle it's flaws!

Is there still a problem opening Polygon on iPhone? Ever since your latest update Polygon won't open...all I get is the white screen with the this app image. I never loads. I already sent an email to your support dept. but I've never received a reply. UPDATE: I'm updating my review from 2 stars to 4 stars. I finally did receive an email from the developer on Dec. 12, 2022. They acknowledged that there was a problem with Polygon and it has since been resolved. I was pleasantly surprised to see that all my works in progress and my completed works were retained and I lost none of them. Thank you Severex!

I must say it is nice to see a color by number game that isn’t squares and such and the picture are great… However the game changed. It used to be game with barely any adds at all but now it’s adds before and after doing a picture and most of the time in the middle of coloring. And I do not want to pay 15+ dollars for no adds. PLEASE don’t turn into the unfortunately now standard all add no gameplay mobile game are now. This is a grate game and it is a shame to have to suffer through adds that are long or don’t even let you close. It’s either adds all the time or an absurd amount of money to get rid for them.

I play this game a lot, I find it a good time-waster, so to speak. However, my biggest issue (besides the performance and crashes, but I realize that the devs are doing their best on that front) is how much space Polygon ’s data takes up. I’m assuming the problem is that it stores all of the images you complete on your device at full resolution, which I would really enjoy the option to turn off (I have somewhat limited space on my phone). Currently it’s taking up over 11 GB. It’s really not that important to me to be able to look at the images without a connection (assuming that’s the issue, anyway). To reiterate, I would appreciate some sort of option that lets Polygon save space.

I love the available pics, even just with the free version. I can’t justify paying for premium but I don’t mind watching ads if it supports the developers of something I enjoy—and for the most part I do enjoy Polygon. My main problem is the lag. It can take several tries to fill in a single section and even when Polygon is running at its smoothest you can’t fill in more than one or two in quick succession. Also navigating around the picture and palette can be tedious due to lag.

Update: Prompt and super helpful response from the dev resolved most of my issues and I’m bumping my review up to five stars! Thank you for the care and pride you clearly take in your work!

Polygon has quickly become one of my favorite color by number apps! However, I noticed that Polygon has suddenly stopped loading. When I open Polygon , it stays on the loading screen and will not start up. I really don’t want to try and fix it by deleting Polygon and losing all my progress. I would love to continue using Polygon so I hope it gets a fix!

I love Polygon and have been using it for about 2-3 years. As of yesterday though, I can’t get it to open at all. It goes to the main screen (with the this app logo and the word this app), but goes no further. Could this have anything to do with release 4.3? I’m hoping you can resolve this, since I have created probably close to 100 drawings in Polygon , and would hate to lose them, as well as Polygon itself. Please look into this!! Thanks!

Polygon is terrific! I can start at any color I want to choose to start with. Some of them are hard to find but that makes it all the more fun and a challenge to accomplish! That’s only one of the reasons why I really do like this game so much! There are many other reasons but that’s enough for now. I appreciate the developers of Polygon and the efforts they have provided for us to play such a great puzzle game.

Hey all! I want to say That I love coloring these pictures and they are actually really realistic and cartoony. The color pallets are so cool I love the colors that go with it. I think this is relaxing and it takes my mind off everything and the pictures look so realistic I love how you guys made them they look amazing and I don’t know how you guys even made these awesome pictures. I enjoy this coloring app it is amazing and I love the pictures of realistic people. Polygon is so relaxing and it’s also fun to color. I love this game there’s little ads and when I’m stressed I turn on my music and play this game and the pictures are so realistic once your done sometimes it’s hard to find the picture so could you like make the space that you need to color like grey or make the number bigger or darker and every time I play the game freezes then it kicks me off it’s so weird. otherwise best game ever 😍😍😍🎨🎨🎨

edit: it’s been a few months after i made the review below and first of all i noticed that you took away the test your luck button. it would be great if you could bring that back. also i have a suggestion for the next update... if you could make a scroll bar on the side of the screen for all the categories that would be great because i find myself having to physically scroll through them and it can get really annoying sometimes. also it would be nice to add a search bar or if it thats not possible even just more specific categories. thanks!

i just got Polygon a few weeks ago and i’ve been using it everyday, multiple times a day. i love it so much. to be honest i don’t really mind the ads, most of the time it only goes on for around five seconds and then you can skip through. it’s just so relaxing and relieving and the variety of pictures to choose from is awesome. most of the time when i’m done with one i just click the “test your luck” button and have no clue what i’m coloring till the end but it ends up being gorgeous. the only thing i would suggest is maybe put a difficulty badge on them? just a thought because some of them are more challenging and time consuming than others. it would be nice to know how hard some are in case you just want something quick and easy (that doesn’t mean take away the hard ones i like those too). please don’t ever take it off Polygon store it’s fantastic!
