So many ads it crashes upon switching levels. Also message to the developers- no component of this game requires online access to resume gameplay so there’s no reason why you would need a connection to play, it’s just you trying to get everyone to watch all the ads. Don’t fall victim to this trap and stay away

It’s a decent level of difficulty, but an ad after every level, so it’s faster to just swipe out of PainttheFlag then relaunch. And no offline play so you can’t get out of ads

This is a great game. I enjoyed it soo much. I’m a huge fan of flags and geography. I highly recommend you download this game.

I have played this game for a little, and it’s actually really fun! There is just way too many ads, and the fee to play add free is $4.99 which is absolutely unheard of.

Game is a great idea interface is good, but I cannot play it with an ad after every single level!

Fun game but you get 248 ads in a timespan of 2.32 seconds. Like bruh I would rate it 5-Star if you just cut down on the amount of ads

I can't play with no wifi besides the game having no important wifi features. The game also forces a advertisement down your throat every level.

When you finish the flag of Lithuania the flag is upside down which is very weird.

This is a very fun game and addicting but the biggest problem is the ads you get an ad every time you paint a flag and not to mention YOU NEED WIFI TO PLAY THE GAME which is just stupid because none of this game has online play it is all single player and it is not worth removing ads a lot of people can finish the game quickly bc of the good geography knowledge some people have I love playing the game but the ads just ruin this game even if you are painting a flag like poland and japan you still get a 30 second ad thank you for taking the time to read this and developers please listen to some of this review

Difficult for a mobile game, I’m an American so take that what you will

I’ve only played for a short while, but I know for a fact that there are too many ads. I don’t know why it hasn’t appeared to the creators that too many ads make the game unplayable. Think about it: There are about 196 nations in the world. After every nation, we take a break for about 15 seconds. If we were to multiply 196x15. That’s 2940 seconds, or 49 minutes. That means we spend about 49 minutes watching ads, which is unacceptable.

So many ads, after each flag you complete it’s an ad and if you fly by them fast the ads start to be come a problem, please don’t get PainttheFlag only get it for no-wifi purposes.

I am very disappointed in the company a-swell this company makes so many games with great ideas but always Ruins the games with ads and money hungry developers, I hope they can make one solid good game with less to no ads, instead of going for people’s time.

Like many other crappy mobile games out there, this one gives you an ad after every single level which is an unacceptable amount, and it's insanely overpriced to get rid of the ads, and there's no online aspect of the game so you shouldn't need connection to play the game (except of course the game needing to give you the absurd amount of ads)

I’m fine with ads but not after every level like every 5-10 levels since there’s 196 different countries you should make it 5-10 levels then you get a ad not after every level

If I wanted to watch ads I’d get cable TV. This is a scam role playing as a trivia game.

Entertaining but way too much ads

Doesn’t matter if it takes you 1 attempt or many the game will give you an ad every time. Stay away from the game. I get creators needing to make money but this is excessive. I played the first 10% and ended up resorting to closing PainttheFlag after every level and restarting it.

The actual game is decent, but they torture you with an advertisement after EVERY SINGLE LEVEL. Even if the level takes 5 seconds, there will be a 30 second ad. ridiculous

like all the other reviews said there are way too many ads. it takes more time to get through each ad than to play the actual game 💀💀

I love the game in all but there is just way to many ads, like when i do Finland or Greece I complete it in 10 seconds than I get a 30 second ad EVERY SINGLE TIME I COMPLETE A FLAG. Great game btw :D

this is absolute unplayable garbage, the levels are extremely short yet have an ad after EVERY SINGLE ONE. its absurd that a level that took 2 seconds to complete should have a 30 second ad after it.

PainttheFlag is great! I love learning geography and the flags of each country. PainttheFlag is great because you can learn quickly and test yourself to see how well you know the flags of the world. However, the lone flaw is when you completely fill the flag with color, it automatically submits the flag like you’re confident with your selections. I would like to see an optional submit/reset button so I can review my final product before submitting my answer. Otherwise great game that fits my interests.
Yes the ads are pretty bad but I’ve come to accept that with these cheap and simple games.

This game is great overall and actually does help with learning about international countries. It is simple, you have unlimited opportunities to get each flag correct, and overall the gameplay is relaxing.
That said, similar to what many reviews state, there are way too many ads. You will be forced into watching an ad after completing each flag. I personally have never experienced this in any game yet. I would give this more stars due to the simple and effective game play, but spending more time watching ads than playing the game is NOT enjoyable. You can pay to get rid of ads, but in my opinion, it simply is not worth it.

The amount of ads in the game is just ridiculous. You’re spending more than 90% of in-App time just watching advertisements. An ad for every flag you play just takes away from the experience of the game and there’s no way of taking them off other than paying. You can’t even play the game itself offline due to the fact that it need internet connection even though it’s a single player game with 0 online feature. But due to the developers greed they for you to only be able to play the game online to get ad revenue. It’s the reason I decided to delete PainttheFlag and find better alternatives

Like all your reviews your seeing. It’s so many ads. Like I said they literally shove ads down your throat every 30 seconds. And also i am not paying money to get rid of ads on a game that you can play in one sitting. They are a lazy developer and just trying to get some money off ads that you don’t have patience for! The ads are way to long (45 seconds or more) and I couldn’t even color the to color flag of Switzerland in!!! This game must have made at least 100,000 dollar with these ads! Please don’t download this game. It is such a waste of time even if you are a geographer. DONT DOWNLOAD THIS GAME!!!

And geography class is one of my favorite classes in the entire high school university. It’s just one of my favorites you cannot let me hate flags. I will just hug the flags until I die.

I absolutely love flags and geography so when I saw this game I started going backflips. It’s a fun game but there are WAYYY too many ads. After every single flag I complete I get an ad and it’s so annoying. It honestly makes me not want to play at all. I can probably find an adless version of this game online somewhere. If you want more people to play your game please do less ads.

Every single time I finish one of the flags it gives me an add NO MATTER WHAT it takes up over half my time and is just annoying I get you need to make your bag but if your going to place on 2 to 3 times A MINUTE there is a serious problem I just want to play the game and I’m happy to watch and add so you can keep the game running but every 5 seconds I’m bombarded with adds

Is I’m smart is I know the 195 countries why love this is so cool so I played this and it gave me the first star of Germany so I will do all of these countries for now, so I gave it five stars

Yes I might gave it 3 stars but the ads are obnoxious I know most games like these might have like basically the same thing the gameplay is amazing I get hints without these I would be almost complete 15 countries and you get infinite tries I would have ads every like 5 countries atleast but I will complete this game

As many have stated in other reviews, there is an ungodly amount ads. After every flag completion, an ad plays. I did 5 countries and deleted after I realized there ads after every completion. I understand that developers need to make money for their hard work and effort and that’s how many developers get paid by putting ads throughout their game. But no one is going to play this game very long once they realize ads play too frequently.

like the other comments say. It’s a good learning game. But it has way to many ads. Because after you complete one flag it goes to an ad and it’s so stupid too. And you can’t play it with out wifi or mobile data. You have to have internet to play this stupid game. They could of at least took the ads out and or left some in after completing maybe 10 flags. It just has to many ads for me. So I deleted the game

Each level takes about 5 seconds, you click to paint a section of the flag. Most flags are less than four clicks. So a 5 second level with a 30 second ad every time. Not every five times or even every other time. Every level. Even by closing the ads early, your time is spent mainly waiting to get through the ad to play the game for 5 seconds. It will be deleted as it’s a less than one star game.

I understand the way ads work and I wouldn’t expect otherwise but this game has one ad for every flag you solve. Typically it takes 5 seconds to play each round followed by a 30 second ad - so you are spending 84% of your time watching adds and only 16% actually playing. In ten minutes on the game, that comes to about a minute and a half on the flags.

It’s a fun game but it gives you an ad after every time you complete a level and it’s 5 dollars just to remove them and if you unlock something it wants you to watch a video just to unlock lil bro just to run across the world

It’s littered with ads. Everytime you paint a flag you are shown an ad. I even unlocked a skin for the character in the game. And I had to watch TWO ads to unlock it, even though I leveled up enough already. I understand developers need money but this is just greed plan and simple. A game this simple shouldn’t require this many ads to pay for its development costs. Ridiculous.

And 3 of the minutes were spent on loading screens, walking between countries, or watching ads. Realistically I had 30-45 seconds of actual gameplay in my first 5 minutes of this game.

I loved the concept but probably won't be opening PainttheFlag again, the user experience is not good.

The recent state flags addition has thrilled me. I hope you can do other things based off this (such as Canadian provinces, Polish Voivodjeships, or Russian Federal Subjects). However, I do have a few concerns for your game, other than the ads. Firstly, several Pacific island nations, such as Tonga, Kiribati, Fiji, Micronesia, and Cook Islands, are not present. Also, several territories are not in the game. There are other things (such as Wales and Northern Ireland being treated as territories even though they are not) tied into this that also drive me crazy. Second, Guadeloupe and French Guiana use the French flag instead of their official flags (🇬🇵 and 🇬🇫, respectively). However, their flags are shown instead of the French flag on the map after you complete a level. How is this possible?
Also, the game seems relatively spartan for each tour (all it does is add an extra color and levels are played in the same order as the last tour) so I would recommend having them randomize with each tour. Thanks!

I wish I could just study flags and learn all about countries forever like im obessed lol fun game VERY addicting but it has one flaw: ADS its like after completing a flag you get hit with an ad and its annoying but thats all fun game I really recommend it just please please pleass fix the ads at least have them every 5 flags :(

It’s fun and I’ve learned a lot and it’s also entertaining and helps time pass quicker however for someone such as myself that’s really good at geography, it’s not fun to see that some flags are wrong, some are missing stuff on it and others are not even included in this game. There are a lot more countries that need to be added here including Hong Kong 🇭🇰 also there should be more fun stuff included for when we complete 100% that way the games stays interesting and also just saying an Airplane, Sky Hotel or even a Hot Air Balloon would make better icons that a running character. Just saying.

So I was on 99% right and I got on Germany and it had 4 colors orange,yellow,black and red and last time I remember is Germany is a 3 color way flag but it has 4 colors and orange has never been on the Germany flag maybe back in the past 500 years ago but not right now but this game is fun but please fix this.

I absolutely despise all of the ads in this game like all the other reviews say. They take a lot of time and you need INTERNET. Every flag is an ad that literally takes more time to watch then even coloring the flag. Developers in this game have the biggest greed with money and not even noticing what is wrong with this game. The ads are like 40 seconds long. Developers of this game needs to fix all these ads and the required internet to play this game.

The game is fun but ad a skip button because when it did Israel I tried to skip but there isn’t

So this game started off having way too many ads. But then suddenly there were way fewer ads but the daily rewards stopped coming so you have to pay for hints... Also the flag for French Guiana is the French flag but then on the map it shows a different flag... also some questionable choices of "countries" included...
