Connective issues

After email in December stating that they were going stop selling their trainers and focus on their riding simulator. It does not appear that much has been done still the same old simulator... plenty on issue that their competitors just don’t seem to have. Connectivity and accuracy with trainers still plague the platform. And when you reach out for help you wait days for an email that just simple states: “Thank you for your concern. Please send us more.” That we answer .. oh boy!! What a bugger!!!

Seems cool but for some unknown reason doesn’t work with the M3i, their other app does so sorta strange.

I’m a beginner at this and I just wanted a couple fun classes to help me. I downloaded BKOOLSpinStudio and it gave me 2 classes that were free which are “very hard” and that’s it. When I tried to delete my account it keeps sending me to there website and there’s no delete option. It’s just not for me.

BKOOLSpinStudio is not user friendly and does not work well with Apple TV. rouvy and Zwift are better choices.

iPad mini 2 only up to 12. Now won’t connect. What’s with that. Subscriber and user BKOOL fitness for 2 years now. Want the older version. Now required to buy a new iPad? It worked fine until it requires iOS 13 or better.

I have a BKool pro and cadence /rpm sensor, both of which connect to BKOOLSpinStudio . When doing a class the rpm doesn’t register, I stay in the zones indicated in the class but only score 20%. There’s no explanation anywhere in BKOOLSpinStudio of how to improve your score, no reason why the rpm doesn’t register. Not very impressed. The simulator is much better but that doesn’t work on an iPhone.

Thought it would be good but the Apple Watch only synchs with the iPhone. The cycling only works with the iPad, so not really any use = useless.

Can't do anything in BKOOLSpinStudio , looks like have to buy to see anything.

I don’t get it. I try the tool kit and BKOOLSpinStudio crashes after 2 seconds. Scans for devices and doesn’t find all of them. This has been a problem since day one. I stopped using it for a while and decided to sign back up and same thing everything crashes and fails. I could not be more disappointed. I emailed the company because they provide no phone number and they said lower the resolution. Didn’t fix anything.

Can’t add my rides. General UI issues all over. Just not a clean app.

I enjoy the ‘pre-programmed’ rides, but can’t figure out how to ride the route on BKOOLSpinStudio that I uploaded on the BKOOL site. Specifically, I’m trying to find ‘My Sessions’ on BKOOLSpinStudio . Online videos say this is possible, but I can’t find it. Online help is useless.

When it works it’s fine. Problems are really difficult to solve though. Latest revision does not work, starting a “session” just dumps me back into the login process. No people to talk to and the ticket process is days long making a “ dialogue” impractical. Right now my trainer has been tendered unuseable. Not happy...BUT, at least they responded next day asking me to send the system report. The day after they did acknowledge a bug, said they were working on it, and provided me with a month’s free subscription. I consider this a pretty good response. Of course I would like to talk to a person, but perhaps a business model of a company in Spain does not financially make sense to man a call center in a foreign country. Anyways, what they have done I thought merited my upping their rating.

It is very cool app, bike and training

Was excited to subscribe and participate in Giro d'Italia Virtual event and others (1 virtual ⭐️ for that); however following 2 days of setup and subscription activation, only learned THEN that BKOOL Cycling is ONLY iPad compatible. Soooo NOT Kool. I really don't appreciate needing to register for something only to not be able to use it abd have yet another unused profile lingering out there with personal deets ⚠️😖 . On the flipside though I appreciate that the website let me customize my data privacy options on most of what counts, so another virtual ⭐️ for respecting customer choice.

Had to cancel the premium sub since its not yet compatible with my gym equipment at the moment, which is a pity since the concept looks more motivating as both a training guide ⭐️with more accountability and opportunity for team / competition work ⭐️⭐️vs other apps which are very 1 v Virtuoso. If an iPhone version that also connects to my Watch and gym bike became avail, I'd hop on the BKOOL ride 🚵‍♀️for sure!
