TapScanner - PDF Scanner App Reviews

I started using TapScanner July of 2021. I loved TapScanner so much that I purchased the subscription because I use it on a daily basis and all the features are great. In the last couple days I was notified when I opened TapScanner that my free scans are up and I need to purchase the pro. So I looked into what I had purchased previously and I should have been good until July because when I purchased the year subscription, there were no limitations and I should have been good until July not March. Now, it is showing that I have limitations. So in my frustration I went ahead and purchased the pro again and here I am three days later and I still do not have access to use TapScanner. I have contacted customer service through email to have this resolved, and I even sent them my receipt showing that the purchase went through and I should have access to TapScanner and no one has gotten back to me or fixed this issue so I can use TapScanner again. If I don’t get this resolved asap, I will be forced to cancel (and I will want my money back) and I will subscribe to another scan app. I can’t wait any longer because I need TapScanner to work as I mentioned, I use this daily. This is only putting me further behind and I can’t afford to have that.

I like TapScanner , decently easy to use and the filters make it easier to see. But I didn’t want to enter a subscription, I didn’t sign anything nor accept anything I just pressed continue to start using TapScanner . Apparently there’s an “X” on top left that you barely see unless you really look for it and unless you press that it automatically puts you into a 3day trial that you will have to pay about 50$ after it ends. I just want my money back!!! It wasn’t my choice to enter the subscription!

I’m a recruiter and TapScanner has made my life way easier, and allows me to keep moving with my tasks. No more wasting time waiting for the digital copy when you have a hard copy. Got a new job and have to send your I9 info? Tap and scan and send. LIFE SAVER.

TapScanner is horrible. I have the free version because I don’t want to pay for a scanner. Only get TapScanner if you are going to pay for the subscription. The free version isn’t worth it because of how many restrictions and pop ups there are telling you to upgrade to the paid version. TapScanner is also super glitchy and crashes consistently. I don’t recommend TapScanner to anyone unless you are considering getting the paid version, which I still wouldn’t even recommend getting because of all the glitches.

I had TapScanner on my Samsung tablet and I loved it. Very easy to use for someone who’s not very technologically savvy. My tablet broke and I downloaded TapScanner onto my iPhone, however, in order to use TapScanner I would have to pay another subscription fee although my subscription last until February 2019. I am very unabashed about this. I sent an email to customer service approximately 6 weeks ago and have not heard back. Now I’m in the process of finding another scanning app. I refuse to pay for another subscription of the same app.

I’m not a technological person, my boss wants documents emailed attached to a pdf, so I love the simplicity and ease of use TapScanner provides. I’m sorry I don’t use more of your capabilities but yall serve my purpose. Thank you for a wonderful product.

Hey guys, so I recently subscribed to the 3 day trail which if not mistaken should grant me all out acres till I am charged the 49$ but it isn’t allowing me access after starting up the 3 day trail. So gotta zonk y’all for that. Let’s maybe get a fix or an update. I’ve always been loyal to you guys because this has got to be the best hands down Fax type app out there so I’d like to see some loyalty in a fix you know? Appreciate it.

I have used TapScanner in Note 9 and everything was amazing. Unfortunately, with my iPhone 11 pro max (ios 13), all attempts to rename any file are not possible now as the file name returned to its default one after each trial. I wonder if there is any available solution to this problem with regards.

I would love to get the pro but I’m short on cash. Shucks. TapScanner is easy to use and navigate. The functions work great for plain ‘ok simple use of TapScanner. But if you have pro stuff to do pro looks amaze.

Honestly, I was just gonna use the free trial and then delete it, but this product is so amazing I actually may go and pay the 50$ for the year. I am completely impressed by this application

Super easy to use and convenient for taking pictures of physical pages and converting them into PDF form. Which is helpful for submitting school assignments!

Excellent app you can keep TapScanner for 7 days but then after the 7th day it will charge you 10 dollars but you could delete TapScanner then download it again and wait for the 7 days and do the same thing

This is one of the best products on the market. It cleans up documents and converts them into pdf format without a flaw. LOVE THIS! Saved us during pandemic when everything went virtual !

Honestly TapScanner is really worth while…
Especially as a student, TapScanner allows you to scan handwritten work into files and help you share them with other apps or email services.

TapScanner is awesome! I have run out of the free credits, which were not mentioned at the time of download which is the reason for 4 stars. Aside from that, I have never had an issue with TapScanner. Runs great with outstanding clarity!

I really love how easy it is to use it, no problems at all when saving a document like the other apps, this one is the best!!!

Nice and convenient easy to navigate through but cost more then what it’s worth.

I like to work with lap scanner and you could save the work in there a you could and don’t have to pay anything

TapScanner lets you do multiple pages. It is super intuitive. It has save my company during this work from home pandemic response. Thank you this app!!!!

We used to be able to save as pdfs without having to pay but now it won’t let us do that anymore and doesn’t even give any warning before, at the last minute of my final exam submission it gave error and won’t let me save. Really annoying.

Hi. I sent you an email a few days ago, but It failed.
I accidentally pressed the 3 days trial button so I emailed you to cancel my purchase. I deleted TapScanner right away but the payment text came yesterday!

I seem to have a charge for almost $60 on my account for TapScanner! I never gave my card info, and I would really like the charge retracted. Plead let me know who I can contact. I never signed up for a premium plan. Also, I looked at the premium plan options are much cheaper than $60. Please advise!

Shuts down constantly and is difficult to navigate through. Not user friendly. Cannot move smoothly from page to page to easily crop and rotate documents.

I paid $49 for the annual, but I couldn’t find TapScanner useful. Therefore, I Canceled it on the first month and not able to receive the refund for the other month. It’s ridiculous how the scammers got money.

Why I can’t cancel my subscription as you noted before I download TapScanner that setting option allow me to do so but it doesn’t.

It’s a good app. But it’s out of my reach economically. I want to unsubscribe and retract my payments. Kindly help
